The Passing Clouds -Sequel to KOBEP-
To the side is a picture I have drawn and edited by myself of Akisha except she looks a lot prettier than that >.> Now then, on to the information!
--You may skip--
Name: Akisha Syerki.
Age: 15-16
Ninja Rank: Chunin. (You didn't think they just held Chunin exams in Konoha did you?)
Abilities: Strong in Taijutsu. Neutral in Genjutsu. Strong in Ninjutsu. Talents were taught from her summoning animals.
Personality/Bio: She still has her lazy attitude but due to dealing with her summonings everyday she may get annoyed easily or give up quickly with fights. She still loves to admire puppets and can still use them but chooses not to. Her gambling desires still have some random out bursts, however, at least she's not always betting something anymore. She still swears in tight situations and casually every now and then but can control herself if need be.
Village: Training in Suna. Belongs to Konoha.
Outfit: A dark blue hoodie with cut off sleeves. Underneath that is a sleeveless, nonsee through, fishnet shirt. She wears a light blue skirt and has black tight shorts going to her knees. Wrappings also cover from her hands to her elbows and a black Konoha head band around her head. And finally she wears the traditional ninja shoes.
Personal Features: Same light dusty brown hair color that now reaches her waist line. The same skin color she left Konoha with, perhaps slightly more tanned. Her build is bustier as she's gone/going through puberty, and she has her light blue sky eyes, seemingly more deeper blue than before.
Oh and something you guys should know!
Big/huge dog = Akamaru's size in pre-shippuden!
***Akisha's POV***
"Come on up!" Suru yelled at me as I fell to my knees, shaking his ruffled fur when the words left his fuzzy mouth. "I-" I gasped in the crisp air of the night. "-Am." I took another moment to breathe, trying my best to regain my breath before dragging myself up to my feet. The loose sand had been a challenge for when I first arrived here to train, but I was told that would help my balance, and over the years it slowly had, as I proved right this second by not once tripping over mounds of the sand. Sweat dripped from my forehead down to my face as I stared at my opponent, Ryu the lion. Ryu was looking tired, maybe more so than myself. He wasn't too old, his red mane still shining with a youthful essence, but the lion was the type to prefer observing, not fighting.
Suru, commonly referred to as Suru-sama or Master, often watched my sparings which normally held me verses one of my summonings. "Continue." I let go of a groan and flung off my dark blue hoodie, despite the very short sleeves and the temperature dropping in the night when it came to the desert, all of my training and sparring were beginning to over heat me.
My fishnet shirt was showing, not that I could care at the moment about fashion, dodging to avoid Ryu's attack was a higher priority. "Sorry child!" He yelled in his proud yet humble voice. I nodded to him, showing my okay with his offensive actions and quickly mustered up the rest of my chakra, making it form a chakra cat-like image around me. Being taught by the felines was harder than you'd think with the average thought of cats being lazy; when it came to training, they were anything but. Although, their teachings have been useful, and mainly define my abilities as a ninja.
I grabbed senbon needles, placing them between my knuckles, simulating as claws. Ryu jumped again at me with his own blue chakra surrounding him making him faster, stronger, and a lot more dangerous. Not worrying myself, knowing I have the same qualities with my chakra swirling around my body.
When his body reached me, still through the air, I ran and slid under him taking my chance to throw the needles towards several pressure points. They hit flawlessly and his landing was more of a skid across the sand, his hind legs immobile and unable to hold up any weight. He sighed and stared up at Suru. "Master, this was a millionth time she beat me this month, I think her training with me is done."
You see, in the beginning of my training I learned how to use the chakra cover, then I simply got use to it and continued other things that training normally includes like running, push ups, sit ups, learning jutsus... The usual. After awhile I was to spar with Joka the panther, after I beat Joka a solid ten times in a spar, I moved on to Keio the cat, then Hana the cheetah, and finally Ryu the mighty lion. Actually, wasn't this the tenth time I beat him with month? ...Would that mean the training is done?
I turned to voice the words in my head when several 'poofs' could be heard. Looking to the direction of the sounds, my summonings were easily spotted even in the dim light of the dropping sun. "Congrats Kitten! You defeated Ryu!" Keio said in his normal sleek, charmed voice yet touches of excitement were hinted in his sentences. The smallest of the summonings with his raven black fur and taunting violet eyes hadn't changed over two and a half years unlike Hana had. "Yes, well, Ryu is an older lion." Hana said teasingly, joking with Ryu was a favorite activity of her's. The small cub from two years ago had grown rapidly, the size of a huge dog yet she was still a bit smaller than Joka who had barely grown.
I eyed him, thinking of all the changes over time had made a certain memory pop up. "Hey Joka, I seem to recall you saying that adult panther's get bigger than this." I gestured to him making his head snap up towards me in shock. "W-where is this coming from, human!?" He growled with unease. I waved him off, abandoning the very idea of proving the testy panther wrong in any aspect. "Never mind!" Ryu gave hearty laugh. "Did he say that? What a strange lie, Joka stopped growing four years ago!" Joka growled in his defense. "SHUT UP OLD TIMER!" Hana glared, ready to snap her sharp teeth down on Joka. "You shut up, you nitwit!" Joka twisted his body to her's. "You're barely grown! You should treat me with respect!"
Hana scoffed at him. "I'd rather die! And you ought to take your own advice!" My body took several steps back in caution, my mind barely having to relay the message to my feet to move when these two began any type of agruments. Hana and Joka have a rocky relationship, honestly Hana only gets along with Ryu well. She's a calm cheetah on the surface who likes having harmless fun, but really her and Joka are the most stubborn, hot headed animals I've ever met.
Keio chuckled at them, saying nothing. Ryu walked over still dragging his limp hind legs, he stopped in the middle of the glaring felines, Ryu was bigger than Joka and Hana, his size sadly didn't ever intimidate Joka nor tune down his attitude. "Children, calm yourselves! Do you forget we're in the presence of the Master?"
Both felines shot their heads down in shame after their eyes squinted with guilt. "Sorry" "Forgive me." They mumbled at once. Suru walked next to me making all my summonings face us. "It is fine, you are children like I was once." He chuckled at a what looked to be a fleeting memory. "And Akisha, I'd like to graduate you on facing and besting each feline here ten times! Besides myself that is!" He laughed.
I bowed to him. "Thank you Suru-sama." I lifted myself from my bow and turned to my summonings. "And thank you all." I bowed to them as well. Ryu bowed back as best he could in a heart beat. "T'was my pleasure child!" Hana also bowed moments later.''Yes! Of course Akisha-sama!"
Joka hid a grin, looking off in the distance and barely tipping his body in a respectful bow. "Yeah, yeah, human, no problem.." "Your welcome Kitten! The days have been amusing with you!" Keio purred while licking his paw, the only one to not return the bow. My eyes tore themselves from my summonings to Suru. "...What training lies ahead for me now?" The heavy tone in my voice revealing how tired I felt with the adrenaline gone.
Suru shook his head. "No, go and rest. I'll call on you when I deem you have rested enough." My eyes sparked up in a second. "R-really!? Yes! Woo!" I fist pumped into the air, ready to start jumping if it weren't for my legs wobbling from my own weight, weak from the training of the day. Keio eyed me deviously. "Watch out Kitten or your breasts might pop out of that attire." Suddenly a sweat drop claimed my forehead as I feebly lowered my arm.
"You suck Keio."
After a year or so here you could say I ''developed'' and Keio nonstop has poked fun at me whenever he could. "Goes to show, bigger isn't always better." Keio remarked, his shoulders lifting up and down in a voiceless giggle. Hana growled at Keio silencing his giggle. "How much of a lowlife are you!?" Keio rolled his eyes. "Please darling! I'm just warning the girl."
My sweat drop went even lower as I stared at them. "Here." A muffled voice said. I turned slightly to the side to see Ryu with my hoodie in his mouth, his hind legs still limp but him being a courteous lion he had went through the trouble of bringing it over. I took it from him, slinging the hoodie over my shoulders. "Thanks Ryu."
"Akisha, the rest of you." Everyone turned to Suru. "I'll be taking my leave now. See you all another time." Everyone dipped their heads in a mini-bow. Suru disappeared in a swirl of fire, much different from the normal 'poofs' but this was Surudoi Me we were seeing. Ryu yawned loudly making it seem more of a roar. "I suppose I'll be going as well! My bones need some rest after all this training today." I patted his rough, dusty red mane. "Bye Ryu. Sorry about your legs." Ryu closed his eyes in a smile. "It isn't a problem! Goodbye." And he poofed away.
"I'm going to get back too. Bye bye!" Keio nonchalantly claimed out into the air before poofing away. Joka glared at Keio's spot. "I really dislike him.." "You dislike everything Idiot!" Hana yelled, irked at Joka's statement. Joka's glare turned to her. "I DO NOT!" Hana's glare matched the panther's. "DO TOO!" Sighing, I walked over inbetween them. "Maybe it's time for you guys to go home now too?" Joka turned away. "Fine... I hate being around her anyway." Before Hana could retort he left, leaving her to growl. "He hates everything."
I gave a nervous chuckle. "Eheh... Aren't you going too?" Hana shrugged, her eyes sparking up to me. "I'll make sure you get back the village okay." I took a look at my surroundings, you could see the village in the distance but you could tell it was a long walk. "Yeah I don't understand why we have to train way out here.." "There are many reasons! But for now feel free to lean on me." I nodded and slightly put on weight on her and began the tread back to the village, cool air tingling my neck in the calm dark setting.
There are many things I have learned with training, even without the chakra shield I'm faster and better at Taijutsu. Every other week we'd train in the dark therefore my eyes adjust quickly to darkness and normally I can detect more movement than most but I'm not superb at it... I can't tell you how many times Joka kicked my ass in the dark... Although there alway's were the times when I wished I had refused this offer to stay home. Be annoyed by my parents everyday, training with my team and of course spending time with-....
I cut off my train of thought before I could make myself depressed. Somehow, every day I always came back to those thoughts... "Akisha-sama, we're here." Hana whispered. I looked up around to see we had entered the village. "Oh look at that!" I said with a slight amazed tone mixed with a dumb tone. Hana's head lowered at me, trying to hide her drop of sweat that lazily clung to her furry forehead. "Yeah..." Hana helped me to my small little home curtsy of Kazekage Gaara. I smirked to myself. Who would have thought Gaara would be Kazekage? Kazekage or not, I'm happy with his change.
Hana helped me to my room where I collapsed on the bed. "Do you want me to stay any longer?" I shook my head with a yawn. "Nah it's alright Hana." Hana nodded and disappeared in the familiar puff of smoke. Slowly my eyes drifted shut and I was left with another dreamless night, shutting out any thoughts of home that'd make me miserable.
*****
"GET UP! GET UP! GET UP!" My eyes snapped open to the repeated commands and I lifted my body up. "WHAT!?" I yelled, nearly screaming, at who ever disturbed my much needed sleep. Ryu sat on the end of my bed with a tiny lion cub, who over time I learned was his son. Ryu didn't make eye connact, choosing to keep his gaze adverted to the floor. "I'm terribly sorry about this.."
Ryu's son or better yet known as, Tano, grinned. "KI! I HAVEN'T SEEN YOU IN FOREVER!" Tano jumped on to my face making me fall back to the pillow. "I swear you're a dog, not a lion.." I said with anger in tune. Tano was the only one to call me Ki besides Kiba. Funny thoughts flung threw my mind at the thought of my team, first thoughts were of us taking the Chunin exams back in Konoha and Kiba's stressing about not being treated like a leader. Luckily for myself, Suna held Chunin exams last year for single participants; I had passed.
I glanced over to Ryu who had gotten to the side of the bed. "Ryu?" I asked, obviously wanting my explanation. Ryu opened his mouth to talk when Tano interrupted, "DAD SAID THAT SINCE YOU HAVE TIME OFF WE CAN SPEND THE DAY TOGETHER!!" My eye twitched. "Did he now?" Ryu slumped his shoulders. "No, I said we can 'ask' you... And then we came here, and he woke you up, and-...." He sighed. "Yuko left him with me and I didn't know what else to do." "Yuko meaning your wife? Wait. I thought being the only male lion you have a bunch of wives? Or something.." "I do but Yuko bore Tano, the next head therefore she is the co-leader or my true wife." Ryu said, smiling proudly at Tano, most likely having his mind on his family.
A small groan released itself from my throat. "Ugh, Ryu.. Can't you just bond with Tano, father and son? It's my day off." Ryu sighed again, going on, "I tried but he keep saying he wanted to come here because he 'loves' the human world... So I suggested that you-" I put my hand up silencing him. "Yes, yes, I know the rest." Ryu gave a nervous chuckle. "So, shall I take my leave now?" I glared at him but eventually broke my glare. "Yeah, fine... But you better pick him up soon!" Ryu nodded vigorously. "Yes! Of course! Thank you." In a split second Ryu disappeared leaving me with a tiny but energetic lion cub.
"Ki! Ki! Ki! What are we going to do today!?" I fell back on my pillow. "Sleeping." I closed my eyes but sleep didn't come as the tiny lion pounced on my stomach. "Come on! Wake up!" I groaned and rolled out of bed, falling to the floor. I stared up at Tano who smiled at me from my bed. "Yay! Are you getting up now?!"
"Why not? It's not like I train everyday, all day and need a rest." Tano shook his head at me. "Man, you must be really lazy then! Tsk, tsk, tsk." If I had been a violent person and Tano not being Ryu's son, I'm almost positive I would have thrown him out a window. "You're lucky I'd feel bad if I strangled you." I mumbled to myself, although loud enough for him to hear. He gave me a bright smile, tail twitching lightly from his energy. "Give me a bit to get a shower and dressed and stuff." I waved at Tano heading in to the bathroom. "Awh! How long will that take?" I stuck my tongue out at him. "Forever!" And with that I closed the door behind me only to here Tano's grumbling and sighing.
*****
I stepped out of the bathroom with fresh clothes, brushed teeth, and combed hair. Despite it being a day off, I wore my normal ninja clothes and had my Konoha headband around my forehead holding on to my sandy light brown hair. "Finally are you ready!?" Tano asked jumping up. "I still want to eat breakfast-" "Let's get something to eat in the village!!" Tano said, or yelled, as he pawed at my legs. "Yeah, but there aren't many places to eat and most of it has sand in it and-" "PLEASE!??" He opened his eyes wide and titled his ears the best he could.
Before I could talk he took off again, "Or let's go see some sights!" I face palmed at this suggestion. "It's the sand village! You look right, left, up, down, and you've seen the sights!" "Oh! I know! Can I meet the Kage? I heard he's cool, and a badass, and can use his sand to kill people, and he's cool, and really really cool!!" I face palmed again. "Er.. Fine let's go bother Gaar-Eh, wait, does your father let you say 'ass'?" Tano's face twisted into a guilty look. "Uh."
I laughed, rolling my eyes. "Come on, let me get toast or something and we can go." Tano raced out of the bedroom. "WOOHOO!!"
*****
"Hey, knock knock?" I said, knocking lightly on the door to the Kazekage's office. Tano had himself slumped on my shoulder, his hind legs slightly in my hood of the hoodie. "Enter." Gaara's usual voice said. Tano's eyes sparked up. "I can't believe I'm going to meet him!" Saying nothing to him, I opened the door. Gaara lifted his eyes from paper work to me. "Akisha? Is there something you need?" I pointed at Tano with my thumb. "You have a fan."
When the words left my mouth Tano jumped down and ran up to Gaara's desk, hopping up on it. "OH WOW! YOU ARE COOL LOOKING!!" Tano suddenly frowned, "Except for the eye liner and the creepy no eyebrows thing with your face-" Racing over, I grabbed Tano by his neck lifting him up. "Be respectful, you idiot!" My scolding made Tano pout.
Gaara eyed him weirdly. "Is that all?" I sighed with a nod and let Tano back down on the desk. "Yeah, sorry to bother you and all, but this one kept bothering me." Tano grinned up a Gaara. "I'm Tano! It's so cool to meet you!!" Gaara gave a light smile. "Thank you, I am Gaara, Kage of the Sand Village, or known as Suna." Tano's eyes widen with awe. "Coooool!"
I couldn't help not to chuckle at the sight before me. Gaara lightly petting a lion cub who's apparently obsessed over him. Three years ago and this would have been the scariest thing to ever see.
"Hey Gaara! Temari and I are back!" A loud voice called obviously belonging to none other than Kankuro. Kankuro saw me and grinned. "Oh hey there Akisha!" "Hey Kankuro, where's Temari?" I asked nonchalantly. Kankuro got a sad look on his face. "Temari's waiting outside... Why can't you call me Kuro-Senpai anymore?" I crossed my arms with a roll of my eyes. "Because you aren't and I'm not a child." Kankuro suddenly wiped the sad look off and replaced it with a pervy one. "Yeah, I've taken notice! How about you and me-" "Temari your brother is making pervert attempts towards me!" I yelled loud enough so she could hear.
In split seconds the door slammed open. "KANKURO! STOP BOTHERING AKISHA FOR THE MILLIONTH TIME!" Temari yelled stomping over and whacking him on the head. Kankuro grabbed his head and glared. "Argh! Fine! Fine! A guy just can't have fun anymore." Tano jumped off of Gaara's desk and onto my shoulder. "Who are these people?" He whispered. I pointed to Temari. "That's Temari, don't get on her bad side and you'll be fine." I pointed to Kankuro. "That's Kankuro, feel free to mess with him. And both are the older siblings of Gaara."
Tano nodded. "Co-" " Stop saying cool Tano." "Awh..."
"How was the mission?" Gaara asked. Kankuro handed him a file. "Successful of course." Gaara nodded. "Good. How's your training?" He looked over to me. I shrugged yet made sure to smile. "I'd like to say I'm doing pretty good, I think I may finish soon." "I hope the best for you." Gaara said while sorting through some papers. "Thanks. Come on Tano we're leaving now, we've bothered the redhead enough." Tano once again let out another little 'awh' but continued letting me walk away. "See you guys another time." I waved to the sand siblings as left as they waved back.
"So now where too!?" Tano asked when I stepped out of the Kazekage's building. "Uh.. Don't you miss your dad yet or something?" I asked praying he'd say yes. I could still fall back asleep and probably sleep through a stampede of elephants. "Nope!" Tano answered cheerfully. "Tano, I'm very tired.. I train a lot everyday and just want to go back to sleep." I whined sounding like a child. "But I just got here! And I never get to come to this world, I don't have a summoner like my father! I'm just like everyone else back home..." He ended with a frown, making my whines seem like nothing compared to his own.
"Okay how about this, when I go back to Konoha I'll get your dad to lend you to me and I'll show you all the sights, restaurants, and everything else?" "You mean it!?" Tano asked hopefully. "Yep! But only if you let me go back to sleep." Tano faked a yawn. "I guess I could use a nap?" I smiled. ''Thank you, Tano." I led him back to my little home anticipating my soon to come sleep.
***Ryu's POV***
"RYU!?" My eyes snapped open in alert. I jumped up from my den with a protective growl ready to strike despite waking from my nap. "WHAT!? What's happening?!" My mate, or wife, it seemed the same to me, glared. "It's not 'what's happening', it's 'what's going to happen' if you don't tell me where our son is." Her threatening low growl made my eyes widen. "Y-Yuko, my dear, I'll b-be right back!!"
Yuko jumped at me just when I disappeared into Akisha's small home in the realm owned by humanity. I let go of the breath I had been holding with relief, and trotted to her bedroom within the house. A smile graced me as I looked at Akisha her bed hugging on to a sleeping Tano. My eyes flickered to a window to check for the time. My assumptions were correct seeing the night sky. Softy I walked over to them and lifted Tano by his neck out of her arms, his fur slightly tickling my tongue. I set him down by my foot and used a paw to nudge Akisha awake.
Her eyes half way opened. "Eh? W-what?" I slightly bowed. "It's I, Ryu. I thank you for watching over Tano.. I know I shouldn't have burdened you like that." She yawned. "O-oh it's uh.. Fine Ryu... She mumbled, eyes flickering open and close. "Also, Akisha take warning. I have a certain feeling.. A bad one.. Please take care tonight?" She nodded. "Uh-huh, sure." She lazily waved her hand before her eyes drifted close. Knowing she wasn't listening but knowing she could take care of herself, I felt no guilt lifting Tano back up with my mouth and disappearing back home.
Yuko was waiting with a nasty glare. "I suggest you put my son down and start running." I gulped and laid the sleeping cub down. "N-Now dear-GAH! I'M SORRY!!"
***Akisha's POV***
"AKISHA! GET UP!!" I groaned. "I swear if someone wakes me up one more time-" " THE KAZEKAGE HAS BEEN CAPTURED BY THE AKATSUKI!" My eyes snapped open and I shot out of bed. A random sand ninja was panting, standing at the entrance of my room. "What!? When!?" "Last night! And Kankuro-sama is in critical condition! You have knowledge of poison right!?" I nodded and grabbed my hoodie slipping it on, luckily I had been so exhausted yesterday I never changed out of my clothes.
I pulled on my shoes and looked up at the ninja. "Lead the way!"
It was a quick run to Suna's hospital where Kankuro was being held. I ran in through the door hearing yells. The sight was a surprising one. Naruto looking older but never unrecognizable and Kakashi who still looked the same as ever were standing across from the sand elders with few random ninja scattered. Kankuro was on a table unmoving as Sakura seemed to rid him of poison. "There! Most of the poison is out, his life is no longer in danger, Temari." Temari across the room sighed relieved, and slid down against the wall.
I chuckled and scratched my head. "I guess I missed out on the action?" Naruto's eyes widen at the sight of me. "KISH!?" I nodded with a grin. "Last time I checked." Sakura smiled. "Kisha! It's been a while!" I nodded again and my smile slowly erased as I stepped over to Temari who had stood back up. "Temari.. I heard about Gaara.." A sad look lingered on her face. "Yeah..." I gestured to Kankuro. "At least Kankuro is alright now." The sad look transformed into a grateful one. "Yes, thanks to Sakura." "Of course, no problem!" Sakura said with a bright smile.
Naruto walked over to me. "Hah! I'm taller now!!" He pointed out randomly. "Don't you think you should be worrying about more important things, Naruto?" I asked but he only waved his arm from his head to the space above mine. I frowned and crossed my arms, hiding my childish pout. "Whatever." Sakura walked to the door. "I need to find an antidote for Kankuro still, not all the poison is gone." "Wait, I'll come with, I can lead you to our herbs." The female elder of Suno, Chiyo said leading Sakura away from the room.
Naruto looked over to me. "So what are you doing here?" I shrugged towards him. "I've been training for just as long as you have I assume." Naruto fist pumped. "SO I'M NOT THE ONLY GENIN!" I shook my head with a laugh. "Ahah! Suna holds Chunin exams too, I became Chunin a year ago." Naruto fell over with shock and hurt at this news. "Damn."
I smiled. "Naruto you've really become mature looking, you know?" Naruto grinned. "I've been told! You look different too!" I looked down at myself. "I guess so-"
POOF!
"He means your breas-" I punched the cat away from me. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE KEIO!?" I yelled, a vein throbbing with anger on my forehead. "I came just for that! Oh, and the fact that Master has relieved you of your training, for now." Keio's tone was serious at the end. I stared widely at him. "Seriously?! Wh-" Keio's lips curved up. "That's all Kitten." And before I could ask anything Keio left in a puff of smoke.
"I dislike that cat..." Kakashi nodded, finally joining in conversation. "Same." I scratched my neck. Oh yeah, Kakashi and Keio have history don't they? Kakashi cleared his throat. "Moving on to more important topics. If I can trace the enemies scent then we could be able to trac-" "No, That's not necessary.." A hoarse voice said. I looked up in surprise to see Kankuro sitting up, looking like hell. "There are two enemies, one abducted Gaara. If you trace Gaara's scent you'll be able to find him." Temari ran over to Kankuro. "Kankuro! Are you alright!?" "Yes, I suppose.." Kankuro took a look at everyone in the room just as Chiyo and Sakura reentered the room. "The sand elders?" Kankuro looked ready to go into shock.
Chiyo ignored his surprise. "Kankuro! Good to see you're awake! Now tell me, you were mumbling it was Sasori of the Red Sand. Is this true? Was it him?" My eyes widen for the millionth time today, but this time my mouth dropped along. "Whoa, wait! Sasori was the one to attack you!?" That guy was like a legend among puppeteers... Or in my case, former puppeteers.
"Yes, it was definitely him." Kankuro said answering both questions. Sakura walked over and gave Kankuro some kind of medicine, after she was done Naruto tugged her away. "Come on! We have to go help Gaara now!" Sakura shoved him off, "Alright, alright!" "Hey I'm coming too!" Chiyo said stopping Kakashi, Naruto, and Sakura from walking out. Kakashi looked at the old woman doubtfully but nodded. "Okay." Uncertainty in his voice.
I looked from Kankuro and Temari back to what was left of team 7 and Chiyo who were walking out of the room. Making my decision, I ran after them. "Hey, don't forget me!" Naruto grinned determinedly. " The more the merrier! "
I matched Naruto's grin. It felt good to be with this knuckle head again but... If Gaara was actually defeated... What if Gaara is-No. I can't think that way. I took one last look at Temari and Kankuro. I gave a reassuring smile.
"We'll get Gaara back! Don't worry!!"
To make up for my past mistakes of how I treated Gaara with fear...
I will get him back.
