Mark clutched the only thing he had in his hand. After his father had destroyed everything he had collected it felt like a part of him had been ripped out. The small bracelet that belonged to Amy was all he had left, and he couldn't think about anything. He sighed in sadness when he heard some sort of hissing sound coming from somewhere in the cavern.

"Hello?" he said to no one in particular when two slithering eels swam from the darkened corner of the treasure cavern.

"Poor Mark everything destroyed because Triton doesn't want his son to go to the human world," says Flotsam.

"Who are you? Where did you come from?" asked Mark feeling slightly uneasy.

"Why we've been watching you," Says Jetsam. "We know how much you love that human girl,"

"It doesn't matter anymore, go away and leave me alone," Mark responded trying his best to ignore the eels, but they didn't give him much of a choice.

"You know we can help you," Flotsam spoke as he swam up and looked at Mark. "We know someone that could give you the ability to go on land,"

"Who?" Mark asked.

"Her name is Ursula," Spoke Jetsam. "She's the sea witch and we're sure she can help you," Mark hesitated for a little while, the eels smirked evilly as they were getting ready to swim out of the cavern.

"It's your choice, stay here and listen to what daddy says or come with us and get everything that you wish for," Said Flotsam. Mark looked at the bracelet thinking about everything and wondering if it was the right way to go. He knew that his father wouldn't understand, Mark knew what his feelings were, he knew exactly what love was and took a deep breath.

"Wait," says Mark. "If I do this will your friend be able to help me?"

"If that's what you want," says Jetsam.

"Then I'll do it," Mark responded. "I'll go, I can't spend another minute in this ocean,"

"Then follow us," says Flotsam as they swam out of the cavern followed by Mark. Sean and Ethan had been leaning against the rock as Sean had been feeling guilty about telling Triton where his son had done. However, while Sean was about to go and apologize he saw Mark swimming out of the Tavern with two eels that he knew were bad news. Ursula had discovered what Mark had been doing.

"No," says Sean. "Ethan we have to go stop Mark," Sean swam over to Mark who had entirely ignored Sean and Ethan. "Mark are you going?" Sean grabbed Mark's arm in an attempt to stop him from following the eels.

"I'm going to see Ursula," Mark said rudely.

"The sea witch?!" Ethan exclaimed in horror.

"Mark please, you must know that this is bad!" Sean exclaimed. "Ursula is nothing but evil! If your father found out then..."

"Why don't you go and tell him? Your good at that already!" Mark said as he roughly pulled his arm away and swam to catch up with the eels. Sean clenched his hands into fists, he had to protect the young prince no matter the cost.

"Ethan, come on," Sean said as he started to catch up with Mark.

"What? To Ursula's cave?!" Ethan said nervously.

"We need to protect Mark," Sean responded while Ethan sighed and swam with Sean. The group continued through the ocean until they reached an underwater cave that happened to be Ursula's home. Sean and Ethan gulped nervously as the young prince swam inside, when he swam through, on the cave floor he saw strange creatures with eyes and long skinny necks. One of them had extended it's long neck and grabbed Mark by the wrist. Mark jumped in fright as he pulled his wrist away and continued to swim deep inside. Sean and Ethan followed, dodging the strange garden of creatures until they reached the center of the cave. Mark looked around the area as he had seen many different glass vials with strange ingredients inside. His stomach was in knots since he wasn't sure what he was about to endure. Suddenly, he heard a laugh from somewhere inside one of the large holes his eyes landed on a woman with gray hair, green skin, and octopus like tentacles.

"Welcome," says Ursula. "So glad that you could make it," Sean and Ethan's eyes widened as they stayed against the wall. "Now you've come here for a reason correct?"

"Uh yes," says Mark. "I was told you could help me?"

"That is correct," says Ursula. "It's what I do," Ursula had swam over to Mark "I help merfolk like yourself, especially when they don't have anyone to turn to," Mark stayed silent and waited for Ursula to continue. "But to get what you want, you must become a human yourself,"

"You can do that?" Mark questioned. "Turn me human?"

"Yes, however," says Ursula as she made her way over to a cauldron of some kind. She waved her hand over the cauldron as it glowed orange. "There's one small detail that you must know, come," Ursula waved her hand over to the cauldron beckoning for Mark to swim over. Reluctantly, Mark swam over as she waved her hand once again. "I can easily make a potion which will allow you to become human for three days, but the catch is you must get the princess to fall in love with you before the sun sets on the third day," she continued. "If she truly loves you you'll be a human permanently but if she doesn't you'll turn back into a merman and become my servant for all eternity,"

"Mark don't do it!" Sean exclaimed except the eels quickly wrapped their fins around Ethan and Sean keeping them from moving. Ursula rolled her eyes and turned back to her victim.

"Oh, and on the subject of payment, you must give me something in return," Says Ursula.

"Payment? But I don't have anything!" Mark started but Ursula held her hand up.

"All I'm asking is for your soul in return for an immortal one," Ursula said. "The only sighed affect is that you won't be able to communicate as I will also take your voice,"

"But how can I communicate?!" Mark exclaimed.

"You'll communicate through movements young man,"Says Ursula as she quickly started getting the ingredients and throwing theminto the cauldron, Mark's heart nearly leapt out of his chest as explosionshappened in the cauldron while all the ingredients were added. She made her wayover to Mark where she made a golden scroll appear. "Now go ahead and make yourchoice Mark, we don't have all day,"
