This was not something Hayley never thought she would see, a seven-year-old girl running though the compound gates with Rebekah following behind. The girl ran up to Elijah jumping into his arms as he smiled kissing her head.

"Hi daddy." The girl said surprising Hayley as Elijah brush back her dark curls from her face. From what Hayley could see the girl had many of Elijah's features and had a bit of baby fat which made her wonder what her daughter look like.

"Hello my sweet girl." Elijah said peppering her face with kisses making her giggle gently patting Elijah's face.

"Daddy stops." She squealed smiling as the vampire chuckled hugging her close. Hayley didn't know Elijah could be so affectionate.

"Elijah?"

"My apologies Hayley. This is my daughter, Blake." Elijah tells her as Blake waved at the pregnant wolf then wrapped her small arms around her father's neck.

"Your daughter? What, how?" Hayley asked watching Elijah place Blake down as she ran seeing Klaus her second favorite uncle. Elijah sighed looking at Hayley.

"Yes, my daughter, her mother was a powerful witch who wanted more power. She wanted to use our child to gain it." Elijah answered Hayley who frowned as Elijah looked over at his daughter seeing her laughing as Klaus tossed her in the air.

"What happen to her mother?"

"I killed her." Elijah said bluntly shocking Hayley while Elijah remembers the night Blake was five and her magic was showing. When Elijah arrived to take Blake, he found his ex with his daughter in the house ready to kill the young girl.

"Oh...." Hayley said looking at Blake who was showering Klaus with hugs and kisses making the hybrid smile. Elijah walked over to the two giving Hayley a look into seeing just how affectionate the Original family was.

"Good morning, Miss Hayley. Good morning daddy." Blake said with a smile making Hayley smile a bit as Blake had walk in. Elijah looks up from the stove as he was making pancakes, a smile graced his face watching Hayley with his daughter.

"Good morning, Blake. You can just call me Hayley." Hayley said watching Blake climb up onto a chair and the young girl smiled at her.

"Aunty Beka says you are having my baby cousin." Blake tells Hayley with bright eyes as Hayley nodded and Elijah walked over placed down plates of pancakes.

"Good morning, all." Klaus said walking in with a grin on his face and Hayley rolled her eyes while Blake smiled up at her uncle.

"Now 'Lijah what are you going to do now that your little one is here?"

"Protect her and Hayley." Elijah answered Klaus pressing a kiss into Blake's curls after cutting her pancakes. Klaus smirked making Elijah raise an eyebrow.

"Planning something Niklaus?"

"No need to worry 'Lijah." Klaus answered Elijah with a smirk on his face and Blake got Elijah's attention.

"Daddy, knit with me today?"

"Of course, little one. Maybe Hayley can join us?" Elijah asks looking at Hayley who nodded which Klaus used this to plot a plan.

It was weird to Hayley to see Elijah in a chair with Blake in his lap calmly showing the girl how to knit a pair of baby booties.

"You are a good father.... well Klaus be a good one?" Hayley asked Elijah moments later as the vampire leaned back in the chair running his fingers though Blake's hair as she fell asleep against her father's chest.

"I believe Niklaus would. As for me, it just came naturally." Elijah said softly smiling at Hayley who looked at Blake finding her adorable.

"Naturally?"

"Yes. The first time I held Blake....I just knew I would love her more than anything." Elijah said smiling softly as his heart swelled with love for Blake feeling the girl snuggle into his chest.

"I would hate to see how you act when she is older and dating." Hayley teased making Elijah chuckle rubbing Blake's back.

"No boy would come close to my little sweet girl." Elijah said with a smile as Hayley laughed looking at the sleeping girl.

"Oh, she'll find a way Elijah." Hayley said smirking as Elijah shot her a playful glare and both sat teasing one another until Blake woke.
