They managed to make it past security using the same mysterious method. Now all they had to worry about was the principal's office. 

It was located to the left of the doors leading outside.  Finally, they found a way, but that didn't mean they had to like it.

"There's only one way", suggested Alice, "One of us has to stay. I'll distract the principal while you two sneak outside."

"Alice, no!" pleaded Leslie and Emma, but it was no good. Alice just wouldn't back down.

"It's alright guys!"

"They'll question you! Then what will you say?"

Finally, she agreed to sneak out while the principal was distracted. 

Slowly, Alice opened the creaking door leading into the principal's office.

"Principal Li!” she cried. “I heard some students sabotaging the girls’ restroom on the second floor!"

"Oh dear. I will be back in a moment. Please stay here, and I will write you a pass to get back to class in five minutes."

‘Yes!’ thought Alice. She turned around to make sure that Emma and Leslie were out of sight. Then, she dashed outside.
