A/N: Ughh... I canNOT believe the Seahawks lost. :( Also I have a terrible cold. D: But... OMG! I can't believe this is the last official chapter! There's an epilogue next, but I'm going to let you read now. Onwards!

        The final battle was the most tense of them all. Both Emma and Jake spent hours preparing, and both fought their hardest. The battle began with Emma throwing a punch at Jake, who easily blocked it. He aimed a kick at her, but she dodged it and elbowed him in the stomach. In desperation, Jake pulled out his sword and held it at her throat. Unfortunately, she has done the same thing at the same time. Now, both were at swordpoint and neither could escape. The announcer didn’t know whom to declare as the winner, so he called it a tie. Panic was everywhere. Now both Emma and Jake technically had 4 wins and one tie each. In all the confusion, Emma managed to come up with a solution. She stepped up to the podium and slowly took the microphone from the announcer.

            “Please calm down Ninjas and Warriors. I have an idea,” she began. Immediately the Ninjas cheered and Warriors screamed in protest, “No, it does not involve me or Jake winning. I was thinking… how many centuries ago did this rivalry begin?”

            Someone from the crowd called out, “One century after the ninjas formed their group. There were disagreements in the group, so they split. The new clan called themselves warriors.”

            “Thank you,” continued Emma, “Now, all of you were together before then. Looking at this whole thing, you can see how powerful you both clans are and how much you can both accomplish… together. I think we should join together and be one group again. Together, we can defeat all the enemies. So what do you say? Should we come together again?”

            Again, there were mixed reactions. Some booed, some cheered. Emma looked around desperately for help. Noticing her expression, Jake stepped up on stage.

            “Look,” he began, “Do you all want to keep fighting? You were all so powerful when you were together, don’t you want to be like that again? If anybody tries to start trouble, we will have consequences. Don’t worry about that. It seems so much more logical to work together, don’t you think?” Quickly, he stepped down from the podium.

This time, most people cheered. Though the reaction wasn’t unanimous, it was good enough. Emma smiled, stepping down. Hesitantly, she walked up to Jake and thrust out her hand.

            “Uh… So? I guess we’re friends now?” she asked.

            “Nah,” he replied grinning, “I think we’re more than that.”

            And then she was kissing him and she couldn’t help smiling. She had gotten her happy ending after all.

A/N: Awww... that ending made me so content. The epilogue will be up tomorrow... and that's it! I'll save all the sentimental stuff for tomorrow... so see y'all later!
