Nightmare Or Vision?
~Mark
I felt anxious to go visit Jack as I paced around my room, unsure of what to do. My video for the morning, which was a vlog explaining where I was going, was posted on YouTube, I was already packed, and my house was relatively clean. Now the only thing I could really do was wait and hope that the nightmares that have begun to haunt me would disappear. I was horrifically wrong. That night, as soon as my head hit the pillow, I fell asleep and began dreaming.
Instead of appearing in Freddy's Pizza like last time, I was standing outside of Jack's house. Everything seemed normal for now, but I wasn't sure how long that would last. I rapped my knuckles against the door a couple of times. No reply. Cautiously, I turned the doorknob. It was unlocked. I nudged the door open a few inches, causing a loud high pitch creak to echo through the empty house. Jack and Emily were nowhere in sight. "Hello?" I called out, feeling like I was in a horror movie and that there was a killer lose somewhere. But no one answered. The house was eerily quiet. "Like a graveyard." I mused aloud, causing shivers to race down my back and the hair on the back of my neck to rise. Something was obviously wrong. That's when I heard a girl scream. It sounded like it came from upstairs. I bolted up the stairs and barged into Emily's room. All of the animatronics were gathered around her, their eyes glowing blood red. None of them said a word or even acknowledged me. "Hey!" I shouted to get their attention. Jack suddenly came barreling into the room from behind, nearly running into me. His eyes were panicked, his body crouched and tensed. "Get away from her!" He demanded as he charged at them. Freddy smacked him away with the back of one paw, sending him flying across the room and into the wall with a bang as he slid onto the floor, unconscious. "Nice try, but we always get what we want." Bonnie hissed with a chuckle as they snatched Emily and jumped out the window into the night. Desperate to help, I jumped through the window after them. They were gone like they were ghosts by the time I hit the ground.
"Ow!" I complained as I rubbed my head. I had somehow gotten myself tangled in a mess of sheets and had rolled off the bed during my nightmare. Thankfully the dream wasn't as gruesome as the last one. After a few moments of struggling, I managed to kick the blankets and sheets off of me and stand up. The time on my phone read two in the morning. Since I didn't want to go back to sleep, I remade my bed and went over to Skype Jack. My mouse hovered over the FaceTime button, but I didn't press it. Instead, I shut down my computer and went to the kitchen. I didn't want to worry him any further.
