Chapter 5

Jerome's POV

6:00 AM. I decided to text Mitch and ask him if he wanted to walk to school with me.

J-Jerome
M-Mitch

J-Hey biggums want to walk to school together?

M-Um Sure. What time will you be over here?

J- Probably 6:45. You up for that?

M- Yea...can't wait to c u (;

J- Thanks (: C u in 30.

M- Okay Bye

I set my phone down and walked into my bathroom. I combed my hair and changed into a simple outfit. After that down the stairs for some breakfast. My mom had made some toast for me, I gladly ate it then walked on over to Mitch's house.

I rang the doorbell and Mitch came running to the door.

"Hey." he smiled leaning against the doorway.

"Hey, I just realized are you gonna be okay walking with your crutches and all?" I asked.

"Oh yeah those....I think so. I-I'm fine." he told me.

"Alright but the first sign of struggle and your gonna get carried."

"Okay okay. Let's just go." he laughed.

I helped Mitch down the steps of his front porch and onto the sidewalk. We began to make our way down to school.

"Guess what." Mitch said.

"Ummm I don't know what?" I smiled.

"My sister is coming into town, she is gonna stay with us for a bit." Mitch said all excited like.

"That's cool." I replied.

"Yeah...Is something wrong?" he implied.

"Well does your sister know about, you know. Us?" I stammered.

"O forgot about that...She doesn't even know I'm gay...." he admitted.

"Are you gonna tell her?" I wondered out loud.

"Should I?"

"It's your choice...."

"I think I'll just leave it a secret..." he decided.

"I'm good with that." I smiled.

Mitch's POV

After about 13 minutes Jerome and I reached our school. We walked through the doors, him helping me every step of the way. He waved and parted to get to his own locker for his books.

As I was walking I noticed one of Jerome's friends, he was hanging out with Sid....

I opened my locker door slightly peering to the side of it to see them.

The only thing I heard was Jerome's friend say, "I don't care if you hurt me. They are my friends."

Sid smirked then kicked the poor boy in the shin. The boy fell to his knees and Sid ran away laughing with his idiotic friends.

I ran ( Well almost walked with my crutches. ) to his side. I offered my hand to his, he grasped it and I brought him to his feet.

"What happened?" I asked.

"Nothing...Sid is just a jerk." he grunted as he showed me his black and blue ankle.

"Do you know why he did that?" I inquired expecting a lie in reply.

"No." he choked up.

"Oh well just stay safe okay? I don't want anyone else ending up like me..." I said gesturing to my crutches and cast.

"Okay thanks Mitch." he smiled.

"Don't mention it. Hey, I got to go. Stupid class." I joked.

"O yeah that." he laughed in reply.

Mitch's Sister's POV ( Valerie )

I was unpacking boxes in the spare bedroom of my old house. I was so happy to be back with the family and get to see Mitch! He was the best brother of all time, although the last time I saw him was like 6 or 7 years ago...I hope he hasn't changed, unless for the better but you know.

"Hey Val!!!" screamed Nicole ( LOL Me!!!! ) as she basically choked me with the big bear hug.

"Nicole I'm so happy that we're gonna share a room!" I squealed.

"Totally. We can go shopping, meet cute boys, out to eat, flirt with cute boys, and shop. Speaking of cute boys where is Mitch?" she blushed.

"O god Nicole you like Mitch?" I giggled.

"Yeah he's so cute, well in the pictures you showed me he was." she laughed.

"Your groooossssssss!!!" I joked.

"Nah gurl I just get dem' boiiiissssss." she cracked up failing to say it in a thug voice.

"Oooo so you be a player?" I said still laughing hysterically.

"Yeah like toats." she laughed even more now.

"We're freaks." I laughed starting to feel a pain in my side for laughing too much.

"Yeah but hot ones!" she shouted.

It took a bit but I finally rewrote it! This might have been boring but next or the chapter after should be exciting.
