Interviewer: Thank you for agreeing to this interview, Mrs. Smith.

Smith: It's my pleasure. This is a topic that people shouldn't be ashamed of.

Interviewer: I wholeheartedly agree. So, to start off the interview, what was the situation that led to you deciding to abort?

Smith: As you know, in the last 100 years, population has gotten out of control. When the federal government made abortions accessible to everyone, the amount of people in America began to steady out at 500 million. When I was 32, my husband and I already had a child and didn't feel the need to raise another. So when we found out we were expecting, we decided that termination was the best route for us.

Interviewer: How far along were you?

Smith: We made the decision at around 4 months.

Interviewer: Wow, that's fairly far along.

Smith: Yes, but we had decided that if something never breathed, it never lived. It has no rights. I'm the one affected by it. So we went to the facility and had it done and I was cleared to go in only a few hours. We really have come along far in science.

Interviewer: Thank you for sharing. Some people treat this as a taboo topic. But the truth is, by the time a woman is 40, they all will have had at least one abortion. And Miss Smith, another question: some people who have several abortions end up not being able to carry a baby. What do you say about this?

Smith: Some people are just unlucky. I've had two abortions now and haven't had any problems. But I do believe science needs to get a move on and make the procedure safer. Some people aren't ready for kids so they have several procedures performed. Then, later in life, they want a kid or two. They should have the right to have kids.

Interviewer: You bring up a couple interesting points. One is when people don't want kids at first. Do you think people should just use protection?

Smith: In this day and age, we don't need to worry about those sorts of things. If a fetus is the result, again, abortions are ready and easy to access.

Interviewer: And what about people who want kids and can't have any?

Smith: Well, we have adoption for that reason.

Interviewer: Adoption, huh? When is the last time you've heard of someone adopting?

Smith:

Interviewer: In a recent survey, it has been discovered that no one has adopted or fostered a child in three years in America. Why do you think that is?

Smith: I... really don't know.

Interviewer: Other countries have regular adoption and fostering but America is the exception.

Smith: Where are all the unwanted children going?

Interviewer: Miss Smith! I thought I was asking the questions. I'm only joking, no worries. Well, where do your unwanted children go?

Smith: They're not exactly children but mine were terminated.

Interviewer: Tell me, how many rights do children under 18 have?

Smith: Wait... Well... Those "children" are hardly contributing to society yet so I guess not much.

Interviewer:  I thought you said if it breathes, it has rights?

Smith: I thought you were for the Abortion Bill?

Interviewer: I am, just simply stating facts.

Smith: But where does an orphaned 5 year old go?

Interviewer: And that is the $1000 question! Where do these children go? We've found out that they are being adopted by other countries or sent to military camps. America has put a cap on extra citizens and those who are unwanted will be put to use.

Smith: I hadn't realized that.

Interviewer: It's an interesting thought and topic. Let's wrap up this interview with one final question. Would you want to meet your aborted children?

Smith: They aren't my children. And they were never alive but I guess, if it was possible, I might want to talk to them. Maybe see how their life or my life might be different.

Interviewer: Were you considering this before your abortions?

Smith: Ha! I'm hardly considering it now! We can't turn back the clock or... build a time machine. for heaven's sake! What's done is done and my life is the better for it.
