{Chapter 5}
"Excuse me, Ladies and Gentlemen, but we will be arriving at our destination soon. Please buckle up your seat belt, and do not take them off until the seat belt light turns off. Thank you for riding Global Airlines, and welcome to Canada,"
I smiled slightly, as the seat belt sign turned red. I placed in my seat belt, looking out the window. We began to near the landing sight, going down to the ground steadily, unlike the dream I had earlier.
I looked back to my phone, sending a text to Pet.
Gina: We are landing right now see you in a little bit!
Pet: Can't wait!
I took a seep breath, afraid of what might happen, when I do meet her.
'Will it be like I imagined or completely different? Will she like me when she sees who is behind the screen? Will I like her? People are different online then in real life. Right?'
My thoughts were stopped, as we hit the ground, causing the plane to bounce a few times from the impact. Soon the seat belt light turned off, and everyone, including me, unbuckled their seat belts.
I stood up, waiting for the rest of the passengers to exit the plane. After about three minutes I got into the slow line.
I finally got off the plane, and was walking down the hallway to the main door. I entered the lobby area as reality sat in.
"This is happening... Isn't it?" I sighed heavily, walking over to the luggage claim. I watched and waited to see my dented suit case.
I stood there for twelve minutes, finally seeing my deformed case. I picked it up, but immediately dropped it, forgetting how heavy it was. Even though it only held a small amount of items, the suit case alone weighs two pounds.
The loud, extensive clanking of the suit case hitting the marble tiled floor, caught the attention of the people surrounding me.
I huffed in frustration, picking up the suitcase and dragging it off to sit in the waiting area.
I took out my phone, seeing it only had two percent charge left. sending a quick text to Pet.
Gina: I am officially in Canada!!! I'm sitting in the waiting room! I'm the one with the metal suitcase.
I looked up seeing the many, many metal suit cases.
I looked back to my phone, texting her a different description.
Gina: Forget the suit case there are too many, I am the one in the blue sweater that says 'Otaku' on the chest.
I was about to hit send when my phone blacked out. I arched an eyebrow, trying to turn it on, but it would refuse.
"Crap not now!"
I sighed, taking my hand, and rubbing my temples in frustration.
I looked to my watch seeing that is was just turning midnight.
I got off of my seat, taking my suit case in hand. I started walking around looking for any sign of someone looking for someone, cause heck. Pet only gave a brief description about her self. But that was twelve years ago and when she was just a girl. I know she is some what around my age though.
I searched every where around the airport, mistaking a fee people to being the actual girl I am looking for. I ran around, waiting for any clue as to who I was looking for.
I walked to the main entrance for the fifth time in a row, and just stood there. I panted, looking every which way. I looked back up st the clock seeing it was already two thirty five.
'Maybe she already left... I'll check the waiting room one last time. Maybe I just missed something...hopefully,'
I ran back to the lobby seeing almost no one. Only a few business men and women and maybe a family or two.
I sighed, making my way to a seat. I sat down mumbling under my breath. I placed my head in my hands not knowing what else to do.
"My phone is dead, I'm in a completely different state I have never been to in my entire life, and I can't find the one person in a stupid airport,"
I began to cry silently into the palm of my shaking hands.
"Excuse me, sir! Have you seen a girl with a metal suitcase by any chance? She is about my age, and has brown hair and blue eyes,"
"Um, sorry Miss I haven't,"
"Oh thank you anyways,"
I looked up from my hands, seeing a girl my age running to person to person asking the same question.
Everyone she talked to only shook their head and moved on with their night.
She continued to do this until she spoke to an elderly lady. I couldn't hear their conversion very well, since they were across the room, but the aged lady nodded, pointing to me.
The girl turned, seeing my figure, slouched in an uncomfortable chair. Her eyes seem to fill up with hope, saying a thank you to the lady, and making her way to me.
I decided to stand up, and walk toward the girl, not knowing what else to do.
We met half way, and just starred at one another. As we did so I took in her features.
Her hair was a pretty brown and went slightly past her shoulder. Her eyes were a dark captivating brown, and her smile was as bright as the sun it's self.
She seemed like the description that Pet posted all those years ago.
I started to cry again, and so did the girl in front of me. We hugged each other as if we knew one another for an eternity.
"Nice to finally meet you Gina," She whispered shakily in my ear. I only nodded, squeezing her tighter.
"Nice to meet you too Pet,"
