Ravenna pov                                     6th of May 1923

I walk from my carriage and onto the pavement "Two pounds sixpence ma'am" the man asks so I give him three shillings and a tuppence. "Keep the change" he stares in awe "thank you ma'am" I nod "you can take the day off too. I'll get a handsome cab when I'm off work. From there I'll go straight to the beach. If you need me send a telegram. If it's an emergency,  take my savings and run away." I tell him and laugh. We both know I'm not very grand or rich anymore. And my reputation has been soiled the second I went to prison.

I am walking to the place where I work. A restaurant! It's extremely fancy. (Photo above)..
