Backstory: Christiana Andrews worked as a lifeguard at Miami beach. Everyday, around sunrise, a mysterious young man with golden locks would arrive at the beach, stay for a bit watching the water roll in, before leaving. Christiana couldn't help but wonder who this man was, so one day, she came up to him and asked him why he visited the beach every morning. His simple response was, "It relaxes me before I head off to work." When Christiana asked what he did for a living, he responded, "I drive the sun across the sky." Christiana thought it was a playful joke.

Everyday at sunrise, the man would continue visiting the beach, but instead of sitting by the water, he would join Christiana in her lifeguard stand, chitchatting until he had to rush out for his job. They formed a tight bond with one another, which eventually led to romance.

A few months later, Christiana realized that she was carrying a child. Nervous, she explained this to the man on one of his visits. He then proceeded to tell her that his real name was Apollo, and that he was the Greek god of the sun, art, and healing.

Christiana did not appreciate what she thought was him making another joke, explaining that this was not the time for humor. She began making plans for them to live together, but Apollo never came back to see Christiana after their argument.

Raising a child on her own was not easy, especially with the salary of a lifeguard. She eventually took on a second job, and then a third. The third job was an escort gig in Miami. It wasn't something Christina necessarily wanted to do, but it was the only job that didn't require any qualifications and that didn't overlap with her two day jobs. Unfortunately for both Christina and her son, Sol, the gig proved too dangerous- one day, Christina never came home. Sol was alone for about a week in his apartment both two satyrs arrived to take him to live at Camp Half-Blood.
