Almost killed someone

Ash's POV

I just woke up and Blake was making coffee outside, I still don't know how I got under his blanket last night but he might be my brother so I don't really care as long as he doesn't know.

I crawled out of the tent and saw some guards and the king talking to Blake, then one of the guards noticed me. The guard grabbed my long dark red hair and pulled me onto my feet, then he pulled me over to them and threw me onto they ground at the king's feet. Blake instantly help me up and stood between me and everyone else, he was acting pretty protective of me since yesterday.

"Son, who's that girl?" The king asked Blake.

"Her name is Ash and I'm her... boyfriend." Blake replied. Wait, did he just say he's my boyfriend!?! I thought.

"Is this true, miss?" The king asked me.

"Y-yes, it's true, milord." I replied. I couldn't let Blake get in trouble so I had to say yes.

"Father, Ash and I have been heading to a temple for our journey. Please go away and let us head there, it's very important." Blake said.

"No, I will not let you two move on. Guards, take Blake home and dispose of the girl!" The king commanded.

Blake drew his sword and drew mine, but then there was a blue light and a shield went around us and we ran away from the guards and the king.

*~*~*

We've been running for what felt like ages and I fell onto my hands and knees, then the darkness started to take over again and it was just like before. All I heard was mind and Blake's heartbeats and our breathing, all I felt was his arms wrap around me and him lifting me off the ground. I was limp and weak, I couldn't stay awake for much longer but then I heard Blake's voice.

"Ash, please stay awake, we're almost to the Temple."

I knew I could trust Blake so I just let him carry me there, all I could lose was him and my life.

Blake's POV

Ash was in my arms and I was running to the temple, she was listening to anything so I had to stay quiet.

I fell down a hole with ash and I tightened my hold on her and hugged to my body, I turned onto my back and everything was pitch black. I only felt ash in my arms, our breathing and our heartbeats. Most of my senses were gone for that moment, but I couldn't let go of Ash. Then a blue light flashed and we were floating in mid-air, the amulet around her neck glowing light blue. I closed my eyes and held onto ash, then I fell asleep with her held tight against me.

I woke up on the ground with ash curled up into a ball next to me, a shield still around us.

"Ash, we're safe now." I said to her and her eyes opened. The shield fell and a cold wind blew, I sat up and looked around.

Ash crawled into my lap and nestled herself against me, she was cold so I wrapped her and me in my coat. As I was looking around I saw a temple and a sign that said: Temple Of Light.

"Ash, we're here. C'mon, lets get inside where it's warm, ok?" I said as I got up and helped ash up.

Ash's POV

Blake helped me up, I stayed close to him incase I fell. When we entered the temple I felt something wrong.

"Blake, we need to get away from here, now." I said.

"What, Ash this is the temple."

"No it isn't, Blake, we need to get out right now." I started to pull Blake towards the exist but something was stoping him from moving.

"Dont try to escape now, young ones. There's much to do here, please stay a while." Someone said.

I turned around and saw a strange girl holding Blake's face, then the girl kissed him and I felt like my heart break in two. This girl was someone I didn't know and Blake didn't know her, either, yet they kiss right in front of me. What could he see that I couldn't? All of a sudden my amulet glowed a blood red and I had the girl against the wall, I was holding her throat like I was trying to strangle her. Blake came over and pulled me away from her, he was scared and he hugged me tight. I calmed down and the amulet stopper glowing, then the girl grabbed Blake and took him away from me. Blake knows that I need him but he left me, he left broken. The amulet glowed the blood red color again and I pinned the girl to the wall with strength I didn't know that I could have.

"Ash, stop! Stop trying to kill her!" Blake yelled, I ignored him and kept choking the girl.

He ran over to me and made me face him, his eyes full of worry, fear, and something I couldn't explain. My amulet didn't stop glowing this time and I looked over to the girl on the floor. Her eyes full of fear, I pulled out my sword and was about to slice the girl in half but Blake stopped me. He pressed his lips against mine and kissed me, for some reason I kissed him back, my lips moving with his. I dropped my sword put my hand onto his face, put he pulled away to get air.

I fell to the ground, the amulet not glowing anymore, and then unfriendly darkness started to cover me. Blake lifted me up and went to a corner, he sat down with me in his lap. The last thing I saw was his face, the last thing I felt was his lips against mine again, then all I heard was out breathing and heartbeats. I drifted to sleep in Blake's lap, my head against his chest. His arms around me, holding me to him.
