We had been told to change into similar uniforms as the boy that brought us to our room. I changed Alice and she had to wear a white shirt with a jeans skirt and tights. We had to put our stuff in drawers and give up our old clothes. I hide a set of clothes for each of us.

"Grantie I want mommy." My sister said sitting in my lap crying. I was trying my best to hold back the tears as my own brother started crying. I held them both close to me as we sat on the bunk bed. I felt as if now my world was changing. Just driving past that willow I knew we would never come back, never see who we never had a chance to say goodbye to again.

"ALL UNITS REPORT TO THE HALL." A voice boomed through the room. Afterwards I heard door after door opening and I opened our door slowly seeing people leaving with their siblings and moving downwards the hall. I grabbed both of my siblings and held their hands tight walking where everyone else was going. I looked above the crowd to see if I noticed anyone. I see the back of a girls head that looks like Ashley's and pick up the pace trying to catch up to her. I grab her arm and she turns around. It wasn't Ashley, it was her mother. I could see the stress in her face and her eyes were still filled with tears.

"Mrs. Morgan, are you okay?"

She fell into my chest as my sister and brother hugged her. People walked around us and she explained to me how they took her away from Ashley. How they told her she was different. We walked as a group together to the hall and we all sat down in rows looking up at the stage. Whispers fell everywhere and I just stayed quiet having my sister and brother in my lap. I was not going to risk anything. Mrs. Morgan sat next to me and she was shaking and her lip quivering. It was just her out of her family that was here and she was scared for her family.

"GOOD MORNING." A voice said through the megaphone. "You all must be wondering what is happening." Everyone was silent and he just chuckled. "Well then, this is a camp. You are all here to become the same. You have more gifts than the rest." He laughs again. "Now that's just not fair to the norms now is it?" No one responded. He sighs then shakes his head. "We have some people here that are way above the rest and I would LOVE to point them out for you." Everyone looked around and started to have fear on their faces. "Will the following please come to the stage. Mr. Train, Mrs. Morgan, The Noel family, The Rose family, Mrs. Barn, Mr. Claud, and The Reed family."

We all stood up from different places. I picked up my sister and brother and walked with them and Mrs. Morgan. We lined up on the stage as the Mayor spoke some more. I scanned the room with a stern look on my face not trying to show fear. I couldn't hear a word he was saying and everything seemed to happen so fast I couldn't tell what was going on. I looked down and saw a pair of shoes in front of me. I look up and see the Mayor standing right infront of me.

"Are you okay Mr. Noel?" He gives me a pat and I focus back on what was happening. "These people just have certain differences from you guys. They just don't have a special talent." He laughs. "They have powers." I glance at my sister as she gasps. "They could be called creatures, or maybe abnormals. So today we will be seeing what their potential is." He looks over at me. "Grant would you like to go first?" He gives me a sly smile. I roll my eyes and step forward. "You will need to step in this machine." I step into the seat and look over to my sister. I could see that she had fear in her eyes and I smiled to signal it is okay. "Now Mr. Noel, are you ready?" I nod and he turns it on pulling a helmet over my head and I start to see blurs of light.

I look to my side and see the blur of my brother holding my sister who is in tears. I finally look up and see a bright light and blank out. I can experince my dream, it was like a reality. I see the lake, the willow tree, and I see a girl. I see Ashley, I start running towards her and see her turn around. I run into her arms and we pause for a long hug.

"I thought I would never see you again." She says hugging me and then we sit down underneath the tree.

"I did too."

"Grant?"

"Yes Ash?"

"B-behind you." I look behind me and see a flying plane covered in flames coming right at us. We tried to stand up and we were stuck to the ground. I held her close not knowing what to do.

"MAYOR GET ME OUT OF THIS." I scream in frustration.

"Find your power or you die."

I focus on his words and I tried to think of what to do. I see the plane it is even closer than before. The scream of Ashley rings in my ears and I lift my hands up in defense. I look up and see the plane a foot away from us and it freezes right where it is. The plane drops into the lake and I look at Ashley shaking. Her image dissapears right in front of me and I see the tons of people again. I look over at the Mayor finally showing fear.

"Well folks." He pulls my hand up to stand up. "Grant Noel has the power of Matter Manipulation." He laughs. "The strongest of all powers. Now ain't that dandy."
