Chapter 47: Meet Annabelle
Darren: Alright, everyone. I hear you're all somewhat responsible, but make sure none of you end up dead or missing, yeah?
Blue: No promises
Evelyn: Someone might die, but it will be fine!
With their bags packed and their spirits high, the group piled into the car, Darren at the wheel. The trip to the airport was filled with laughter and anticipation for the week ahead.
Soon enough, they were boarding a flight bound for London, the excitement palpable as they took off.
When they landed, Darren had arranged for them to stay in a beautiful Airbnb in the heart of the city.
The large house was perfect for the group, offering enough space for everyone to spread out and enjoy their stay.
Darren: Now, behave yourselves, I’m trusting you lot not to burn the place down. But more importantly, have fun. London's a Hell of a city....literally, it's like Hell
Darren hands Adam the keys and leaves, and so with a week of adventure ahead of them, the group settled in, ready to explore the wonders of London and enjoy their much-deserved break from the chaos back at Nevermore Academy.
The group arrived in London with wide-eyed excitement, eager to explore the iconic city. The weather was cold, typical for February, but it didn’t dampen their spirits.
With Blue, Evelyn and Adam acting as the perfect tour guides, they quickly hit the ground running.
Blue: Welcome to the greatest city in the world, everyone! Right next to Gotham and Yharnam!
Blue announced as they stepped out of their Airbnb, his arms spread wide as if he owned the place.
Blue: And no, Oxford Circus is not an actual circus, in case you were wondering. I learnt that the hard way
Enid laughed as they took in the bustling streets, lined with high-end shops and vibrant street performers.
Yoko: It’s amazing! How do you even know where to start?
Blue: That's the neat part, we don't!
Evelyn: Well, we start with a little shopping, naturally.
Evelyn nudges Wednesday, who seemed less enthused by the idea of fashion but still intrigued by the vibrant city around her.
They spent the morning exploring Oxford Circus, checking out the eclectic mix of stores and catching the energy of the city's bustling atmosphere.
Enid and Bianca dragged Blue and Xavier into various fashion shops, while Wednesday, Ajax and Eugene strolled behind, more focused on the people watching than the shopping.
After a quick stop for coffee at a local café, they made their way to Central London, where the towering London Eye and the iconic Big Ben came into view.
Adam: There it is, lads and ladies, the great clock tower, Big Ben
Blue: What's up, Benny?
Yoko: It’s beautiful!
Enid gasped as they crossed Westminster Bridge, but Blue and his Sister laughed to themselves as Big Ben was more old than beautiful.
Blue: We’re getting on the London Eye now.
Evelyn: So let us know if you're afraid of heights! If you are....good luck.
Blue leads the way to the giant observation wheel that offered stunning views of the entire city. They hopped into three of the pods, which slowly ascended, giving them a breathtaking view of the River Thames and the city's landmarks below.
Blue: Shame that the River is dirty water now, some people are just not civilised
Enid: I don't mind it, and I don’t mind heights as well....b-but this is different
Enid was clearly nervous as the pod rose higher. Blue sat next to her, offering a comforting smile.
Blue: Don’t worry, you’ve got a wolf’s bravery. Besides, I’m here
He gives her hand a reassuring squeeze, and she was grateful for it. The view from the top was stunning, with the city sprawling beneath them.
Even Wednesday seemed to appreciate the sights, though she remained quiet, her dark eyes taking in the skyline.
Once back on the ground, they wandered over to Covent Garden, where the group enjoyed watching street performances and indulged in a bit of lighthearted fun.
They found a cozy spot to eat for lunch, tucked into the backstreets, where they feasted on....well not British Food.
They just went to a nice Turkish Restaurant......food was bangin though.
The next day, the tour guide trio decided to take their friends to some of the city's lesser-known gems, giving them a taste of local spots like Borough Market and Camden Market.
They even managed a brief visit to Hyde Park, where they wandered by the Serpentine, enjoying the tranquility in contrast to the city’s bustling energy.
Wednesday: And you're saying that there aren't Hydes here?
Blue: N-No, it's just the name....
Yoko: I could get used to this
Yoko lounged on a bench, watching the swans drift lazily across the lake. By the afternoon, they found themselves back in Central London, this time exploring Piccadilly Circus and wandering down Regent Street, taking in the vibrant lights and iconic sights.
They grabbed some quick street food and laughed as they strolled through the crowded streets.
Bianca: Honestly, you’re the best tour guides ever
Evelyn: We aim to not please, so in other words, we have failed.
Blue: But there’s still more to see, trust me.
As the sun began to set, casting a warm glow over the city, the group made their way back to the Airbnb, exhausted but filled with good memories.
Xavier: London’s got a certain charm, but let’s see what tomorrow brings.
Blue: Oh, tomorrow? I’ve got plans for us to see the Tower of London and maybe even go to a football match. London’s not done with you yet! Just like Mr Bones' wild ride!
Wednesday: Actually....I have an idea on where to go.

The group found themselves standing outside the Warren House, the famous abode where many dark artifacts were kept, including one notorious entity.
Annabelle.
Wednesday, curious as ever, had pushed for this visit after Blue mentioned that he knew the sinister doll-like figure personally. While the rest of the group was hesitant, Blue reassured them.
Blue: It’s fine, trust me. Annabelle and I get along well, she won’t hurt anyone unless you start acting like a twat
Adam: She’s actually pretty chill with us. You just have to be respectful as Blue is essentially saying
Though still a bit wary, the group followed Blue’s lead as they were granted permission to see Annabelle in her glass case. When they entered the room where Annabelle was kept, they were surprised to see that she wasn’t the creepy doll they expected.
Instead, she was more human-like, smaller than Wednesday, and more lifelike than any typical doll. Annabelle’s eyes lit up with recognition as they approached.
Annabelle: Now, what do we have here? A surprise visit from my favorite Demon, Ghost, and Psychic. And you've brought friends? Hi, Enid~
Annabelle’s voice was teasing, yet unnervingly calm. Enid blinked in shock, not expecting the cursed figure to know her name.
Enid: U-Umm hello....Annabelle! She knows who I am?!
Blue: Haha, of course, I told her about you. Annabelle and me are great friends, and we have been for a while now
Bianca took a step forward, eyeing the strange figure in the case.
Bianca: I can’t believe she’s actually real, and she isn’t a proper doll.
Yoko: She looks....real
Ajax: That’s.....disturbing
Annabelle’s head tilted slightly, and her expression grew more mischievous.
Annabelle: You want to get cursed? Snake boy?
Ajax: N-No! I’m sorry!
Xavier: Way to go, idiot
Wednesday, who had been observing quietly, finally stepped forward, her gaze fixed on Annabelle.
Wednesday: You’re different than I expected
Annabelle: And you intrigue me, Wednesday Addams. You and I could be...friends. After all, you understand darkness better than most.
Wednesday: Friends? Perhaps. But I don’t need allies, especially ones who make it a habit of trapping souls.
The room seemed to grow heavier as Annabelle chuckled softly.
Annabelle: Fair point. But just remember, the dark is always more interesting when shared.
Blue:....How do you share the dark?
Adam: I don't bloody know
Evelyn: We’re just here for a visit, Annabelle, not to start anything. So no need to put someone in a pack
Annabelle: Of course, of course. Just a visit. But be careful out there, all of you. There’s more lurking in the shadows than you might realise....maybe~
As the group continued their conversation with Annabelle, laughing nervously and exchanging banter, Xavier quietly slipped away from the main circle, his eyes darting toward Evelyn.
She was standing off to the side, seemingly lost in her own thoughts, and it was the perfect opportunity for him to approach her without drawing attention.
He hesitated for a moment, his heart racing, before walking over to her. Evelyn glanced up as he approached, her usual tough-girl demeanor still intact. She raised an eyebrow, curious but guarded.
Xavier: Evelyn, we need to talk
Evelyn: Alright. What’s this about?
Xavier:.....I think you’re not being the real you.
Evelyn: Um...excuse me fucking moi? What does that even mean, big man?
Xavier looked her in the eye, his own expression a mix of frustration and vulnerability.
Xavier: You’re always acting like this tough girl, like you have to push everyone away. You push people who might make you feel....differently
Evelyn: And.....what the hell does that have to do with you?
Xavier: Come on, Evelyn, me and you barely talk anymore! We should expand our friendship. You...you push me away sometimes! Just like Wednesday does with me! I feel like...you don’t want to know me better.
Evelyn was silent for a moment, her brow furrowing. Then she shook her head, her expression hardening.
Evelyn: Now that is a mad accusation, because I do want to know you better, just like I want to know all of my friends. And push you away? No, Xavier......you push yourself away.
Xavier blinked in surprise, not expecting her to flip the situation on him like that.
Xavier: T-That’s not true!
Evelyn: Oh, but it is, Xavier. Look...whatever you’re trying to say, just stop it. Otherwise, you're going to ruin this nice week away from all the madness. We came here to have fun, not to have awkward conversations.
Xavier opened his mouth to respond, but Evelyn didn’t give him the chance. She shook her head again and walked off, clearly done with the conversation.
Xavier stood there, looking frustrated and conflicted, watching her go. Unbeknownst to him, Adam and Wednesday were standing nearby, their eyes sharp as they observed the entire exchange from a distance.
Wednesday was leaning against a wall with her arms crossed, narrowed her eyes thoughtfully.
Wednesday: Well.....that was interesting
Adam: Yeah, and awkward as hell. But it was only a matter of time before Xavier tried something.
Wednesday’s gaze was cold, as always, but there was a hint of amusement in her voice.
Wednesday: He’s predictable. Still, I wonder what exactly he was hoping to achieve.
Adam: I don’t know, but Evelyn’s not stupid. She saw right through him.
Wednesday gave a small nod, her eyes following Evelyn’s retreating figure.
Wednesday: She handled it well, though. No drama, just straight facts.
Adam: That’s Evelyn for you, but you know, I can’t help but think Xavier’s not going to let this go. He’s got a thing for girls who don’t make it easy for him.
Wednesday didn’t respond right away, her gaze still fixed on Xavier, who was now awkwardly rejoining the group, trying to act like nothing had happened. Finally, she spoke, her voice low and almost menacing.
Wedneaday: If he tries to push this again, it won’t end well. For him.
Adam: I’ll leave him to you, if he ever steps out of line again
They shared a knowing look before blending back into the group, leaving Xavier to stew in his own feelings, completely unaware that he’d been watched the entire time.
As the group started to explore the rest of the Warren House, Yoko was excitedly leading the way, wanting to check out the haunted and paranormal artifacts that filled the mansion.
The others followed, intrigued by Blue’s knowledge of the place as he became their guide, explaining each eerie object and its background. Meanwhile, back in Annabelle's room, the atmosphere shifted.
Annabelle: Enid Sinclair, stay here
Annabelle's soft, yet commanding voice cut through the room, making Enid pause mid-step.
Enid: Oh....why?
Annabelle: Let's....have a talk
Enid: A-A talk?
Annabelle smiled, her expression almost sweet, but with an edge of mischief.
Annabelle: Don't worry, it's all harmless~
Reluctantly, Enid took a seat near Annabelle’s glass case. She felt the doll’s unblinking gaze on her, and despite Annabelle’s human appearance, there was something unnervingly supernatural about her.
Yet, the conversation that followed was...unexpected.
Annabelle: So, you're with Blue now, correct?
Enid: Y-Yeah, we've been together for a while now...n-not that long, but...
Annabelle: Blue is a unique soul, isn't he? I've known him for longer than you can imagine. He has a charm that...draws people in. Even me
Enid’s blush deepened as she realised what Annabelle was implying. She shifted uncomfortably.
Enid: S-So....you....like Blue?
Annabelle: More than that, my dear. I've always had these....so-called feelings for him, but given that you are his Fated Lover...well, I propose we share him.
Enid’s face turned a deep crimson, and she stammered, her mind reeling.
Enid: S-Share him?! I....I don’t think...w-we, I mean....
She trailed off, unable to comprehend the idea fully. Sharing Blue with someone else, let alone Annabelle, was a lot to process. Annabelle tilted her head slightly, watching Enid with amusement.
Annabelle: Think about it, Enid. I've known Blue far longer, and clearly, we both care about him. Why should we deny our mutual affection for him? After all, you’re not the only one who feels this way about him, are you?~
Enid blinked, her thoughts spinning.
Yoko.....
She remembered Yoko's lingering glances at Blue, and lately, Yoko had seemed more withdrawn, upset about something. It wasn’t hard to figure out why.
Yoko had feelings for Blue too. And it made Enid’s heart ache to see her friend like that. The thought began to settle in Enid’s mind. Sharing Blue.....it wasn’t something she had ever seriously considered.
But....if it made those who cared about him happy...Yoko, Annabelle....
Maybe it wasn’t such a terrible idea. After all, she didn’t want to keep Blue all to herself if it meant causing others pain. And besides, she trusted him. After a long pause, Enid spoke, her voice small but determined.
Enid:....W-We can share him.
Annabelle’s smile turned almost triumphant.
Annabelle: Excellent. I always knew you had an interest in these types of arrangements.
Enid: H-How did you-?
Annabelle: Oh, sweet girl, I know you well enough. You seem like the type who’s...open-minded....and experimental
Annabelle’s tone was teasing, but there was a knowing glint in her eyes. Enid flushed, unable to come up with a response. She felt her heart race, but surprisingly, she didn’t feel as uneasy about the idea anymore.
She knew she loved Blue, and if sharing him with others who truly cared about him was what it took to keep everyone happy, then maybe....just maybe, she could handle it.
After all, Blue was a rare type of boy.
The conversation left her feeling strange, but resolved. Annabelle was content now, and Enid couldn't help but feel that this unexpected arrangement might be the best way to ensure peace between all the people who cared for Blue.
As Enid made her way back to the others, she found Blue standing by a case filled with haunted artifacts, casually chatting with Adam and Yoko.
She wasn’t going to tell him about her conversation with Annabelle, that would just be too awkward. Instead, she took a deep breath, composed herself, and approached him, acting as natural as possible.
Enid: Hey, Blue
Blue: Heyo, you done chatting with the creepy doll? [Ruffles Her Hair]
Enid: Yeah, it was...interesting
Enid was doing her best to hide the flush in her cheeks. She couldn’t stop thinking about what Annabelle had said, but she pushed those thoughts aside for now. It wasn’t the right time to discuss it.
Meanwhile, as Enid blended back in with the group, Wednesday had remained behind, her intense gaze locked onto Annabelle. Something was gnawing at her, a weight she’d been carrying since she learned of the second prophecy.
Annabelle: You want to talk? About what?
Wednesday crossed her arms, her face as impassive as ever, but her dark eyes were serious.
Wednesday: I was told of a prophecy...that I would get Blue killed.
A slow, eerie smile spread across Annabelle’s face.
Annabelle: Killed? Oh, now that is interesting~
Wednesday didn’t flinch. The prophecy had been haunting her since Rowan had revealed it before his death, right before Tyler had intervened.
The thought that she could somehow be responsible for Blue’s death was unsettling, even for someone like Wednesday who prided herself on indifference to most things.
She hadn’t told anyone else, except Thing, but now....now she needed answers, and Annabelle seemed like someone who might have them.
Annabelle: And what do you think?
Wednesday: I don’t know why or how, but it’s stuck with me. You may know something I don’t.
Annabelle: Hmm...I can’t see why you would be the one to get Blue killed. After all, you love him.
Wednesday: I do not "love" him. He is simply a friend, nothing more.
Annabelle’s smile widened knowingly.
Annabelle: Oh, that’s what they all say. But if this prophecy holds any weight, it might not be in the way you expect. Try to read more into it, Wednesday. Sometimes prophecies are riddles....it could be wrong, but it could also be true.
The doll’s words echoed in Wednesday’s mind. She didn’t want to believe it, but it was something she couldn’t ignore.
Wednesday: And if it is true?
Wednesday asked, her tone darker now, testing Annabelle’s reaction.
Wednesday: What would you do if I was the reason for Blue’s death?
Annabelle’s laughter was soft and chilling.
Annabelle: Fufufufu, if that were to happen....well, I might just have to curse you, dear Wednesday~.
Wednesday: That doesn’t sound so bad.
Annabelle: Oh, you think you like curses, but trust me, you won’t enjoy one of mine. They tend to stick with you...forever....or just make you suffer till death, whatever I choose.
Annabelle’s tone was playful, but there was an edge to it, a hint of something far more dangerous lurking beneath her words.
Wednesday met Annabelle’s gaze, her face unreadable. She wasn’t afraid, but she was no fool either. There was truth in the doll’s warning, and while Wednesday was no stranger to darkness.....
Annabelle’s kind of curse wasn’t one she would take lightly.
The conversation ended as both remained in mutual understanding, a quiet tension lingering between them. Wednesday turned away from the glass case, her mind now buzzing with more questions than answers.
The prophecy still weighed on her, but Annabelle’s words gave her pause. If there was one thing Wednesday Addams hated, it was uncertainty.
Annabelle, on the other hand, watched her leave, a sly smile on her face as she internally thought about the future. She had her own plans, and she was glad she was going to reveal her attraction to Blue soon enough.
After all, she had just secured an unexpected ally in Enid, and that made things even more interesting. As the others were busy exploring more of the Warren House, Blue returned to see Annabelle.
He was feeling a strange pull towards her glass case. She greeted him with a mischievous glint in her eyes.
Annabelle: Release me from my glass case, Blue
Blue hesitated for only a moment before unlocking the glass and allowing her to step out. Annabelle moved gracefully, taking a seat across from him as they began to talk.
Annabelle: So, what has been going on lately? You look like you've had quite the adventure
Annabelle inquired, sitting with perfect posture as if waiting for something more. Blue leaned back in his chair, recounting some of the recent events.
Blue: Where do I even start? The whole thing with Megan went crazy. She went psycho. Then, there was the missing students’ situation....turns out it was one of our own teachers behind it all...so man is an Opp.
Annabelle: A teacher? Oh, how scandalous~
Blue: Yeah, it was pretty mad. I even had a fight with a demon called Sindweller.
Annabelle: You seem to have a talent for attracting chaos, don’t you? But more importantly.....are you taking care of yourself?
Blue: Kind of....why?
Without another word, Annabelle gracefully jumped onto Blue’s lap, catching him completely off guard. She placed a gentle kiss on his lips.
Blue’s eyes widened in surprise, though his face didn’t flush with embarrassment, he was far too composed for that. Instead, he was simply shocked by the sudden affection.
Before he could react, Annabelle pulled back, her signature sly look plastered on her face as she hopped off his lap. Blue blinked, trying to process what had just happened.
Blue:.....Annabelle?!
Annabelle: Don’t worry~
She purred, turning to face him with that same knowing smile.
Annabelle: I had a little chat with Enid. She said it’s okay. But.....we can talk more about this when your school year ends. Don’t think too much about it for now~.
Blue: Okay ._.
With the situation still sinking in, Blue glanced over at the others who were still distracted. Eventually, it was time for them to leave. As they gathered back together, Blue gently placed Annabelle back in her glass case.
His mind was still whirling from the unexpected moment. Annabelle winked at him as the glass door clicked shut.
Annabelle: Until next time, Blue~.
As the group left the Warren House, Blue remained silent for a while, his thoughts occupied by the strange, surreal encounter with the doll who seemed to have far more depth than he had ever realised.
