Unwanted change
-your pov-
- SILVERLODE SHORE, LOTHLÓRIEN - DAWN-
A green, silver-veined elven leaf brooch is clasped. elves clasp elven cloaks around on us each with a leaf brooch. "Never before have we clad strangers in the garb of our people." Lord Celeborn says. He then looks over each one of us. His eyes stayed on me a little before he speaks. " May these cloaks help shield you from unfriendly eyes."
-SILVERLODE RIVER BANK, LOTHLÓRIEN - DAWN -
Legolas grabs a couple of packs and puts them in an elven boat. Merry and Pippin look up as he pulls a small piece of bread from one of the packs. "Lembas. Elvish waybread." He takes a bite. "One small bite is enough to fill the stomach of a grown man." He stuffs the remaining piece back in the pack and places it in the boats.
MERRY and PIPPIN nod as he walks away. "How many did you eat?" Merry ask. "Four" pippin answers.
We continue to load the boats for our journey ... I watch as Legolas helps Gimli into a boat ... I suppress a laugh as I watch Sam crawls into another boat and quickly reveals he has no measure of sea legs. Then I hear Lord Celeborn speak again and I turn my head to him. ( and yea, I sit with Legolas and Gimli)
"Every league you travel south, the danger will increase. Mordor Orcs now hold the eastern shore of the Anduin. Nor will you find safety on the western bank."
-SILVERLODE SHORE, LOTHLÓRIEN - DAWN-
Celeborn and Aragorn walk toward the River. "Strange creatures bearing the White Hand have been seen on our borders. Seldom do Orcs journey in the open under the sun, yet these have done so." Celeborn holds a Dagger out to Aragorn. Aragorn takes the dagger and unsheathes it. It is a beautiful, yet deadly work of art.
"Le aphadar men." he then says in elvish.
Aragorn replaces the dagger in its sheath. "By the river, you have the chance of outrunning the enemy to the Falls of Rauros."
-SILVERLODE RIVER BANK - DAWN-
We are in three small elven boats. Elves quietly watch us depart.
I then turn my gaze to Legolas. It looks like he remembers something. I smile as I also think back.
-Flashback-
I wath as Lady Galadriel gives my friends dear gifts. She starts with Legolas.
"My gift for you, Legolas, is a bow of the Galadhrim. Worthy of the skill of our woodland kin." I smile as he lifts an elegant Bow and tests its strength. Galadriel smiles and walks to Merry and Pippin. Merry removes a dagger from its sheathe and gazes upon it.
"These are the daggers of the Noldorin. They have already seen service in war." She says. Pippin looks upon his gift with the fear he may have to use it. He casts his eyes upon Galadriel. "Do not fear, young Peregrin Took. You will find your courage."
-END OF FLASHBACK-
I see Pippin and Merry sitting expressionless in their boat. Then I see that Sam also remembers.
-Flach back again-
A/N: This is your Pov so if I don't say "i" or something just think and remember it's still your pov.
"And for you, Samwise Gamgee, Elven rope made of within." Lady Galadriel says warmly. Sam bows to her, accepting his gift. " Thank you, my lady." He looks at Merry and Pippin, and then back to Galadriel. "Have you run out of those nice, shiny daggers?" he asks hesitantly.
Galadriel smiles, and Sam holds onto his rope, embarrassed. She moves on to Gimli who stares at the ground in her presence. "And what gift would a Dwarf ask of the Elves?" Gimli shakes his head quickly. "Nothing." He looks up at her. "Except to look upon the lady of the Galadhrim one last time for she is fairer than all the jewels beneath the earth." Galadriel laughs. Gimli scowls at his foolishness and turns away. He recovers and turns back to her. "Actually... There was one thing. No, no, I couldn't. It's quite impossible. Stupid to ask."
-END FLASHBACK -
-A/N POV-
Gimli rides silently before Legolas. He closes his eyes, allowing the memory to flood into his head.
-INSERT FLASHBACK-
Galadriel stands before Aragorn. "I have nothing greater to give than the gift you already bear." She touches the Evenstar Pendant Aragorn wears. " Am meleth dîn. I ant e-guil Arwen Undómiel ... pelitha." "Aníron i e broniatha ar periatham amar hen. Aníron e ciratha a Valannor." Aragorn answered.
"That choice is yet before her. You have your own choice to make, Aragorn." Aragorn straightens before her. "To rise above the height of all your fathers since the days of Elendil or to fall into darkness with all that is left of your kin." Silence follows ... branches shake ... a spider web's glimmering strands sway in the wind.
Galadriel glances at the pendant and smiles.
"Namárië." Aragorn bows to her and turns to leave. Galadriel stops him. "Nadath nâ I moe cerich. Dan ... ú-'eveditham, Elessar."
END FLASHBACK
Frodo rides at the head of his boat.
"Farewell, Frodo Baggins. " Galadriel says in his mind.
INSERT FLASHBACK
Galadriel gives Frodo a small Crystal Phial. "I give you the light of Eärendil, our most beloved star." Galadriel leans over and kisses his head.
END FLASHBACK
As the Fellowship's boats drift past, Galadriel stands alone, watching from the banks of the river. In his head, Frodo still hears her voice...
"May it be a light for you in dark places, when all other lights go out."
Gimli riding at the head of his boat paddled by Legolas. "I have taken my worst wound at this parting having looked my last upon that which is fairest. Henceforth I will call nothing fair unless it is her gift to me."
"What was her gift?" Sevegilia said. Her eyes wander over the water as she waits for Gimli's reply. "I asked her for one hair from her golden head. She gave me three," he says after a while. Sevegilia smiles. "What was her gift to you, Sevi?" Legolas asks. Sevegilia smiles and touches her pedant that hangs around her neck.
"She gave me my mother's necklace. She said that if I wear it, my dragon form will be stronger but also easier to control." Sevegilia said as she shows her pendant to Legolas. he smiles warmly. "Your mother must have meant much to you." Sevegilia nodded. "She did. As a Queen, you don't usually have time for your children but she always made time for me." She said as a single tear dripped down on her chin. It was clear as a crystal and water.
RIVER ANDUIN - DAY
The boats pass into the Great River Anduin. The four elven boats carry the Fellowship steadily southward. Green trees slowly give way to a brown and withered land.
FOREST - DAY
The Uruk forces are running through the trees with deadly purpose.
RIVER ANDUIN - DAY
A flock of birds circles high above, black against the pale sky. Aragorn watches them with concern.
RIVER ANDUIN BANKS - NIGHT
The four boats are safely stored on the bank out of the water. Boromir hides behind a rock watching the river. Sevegilia follows a log that floats down the river. A hand grasps the log and pulls itself onto it. Who or whatever it seems to be trying to remain concealed from the eyes of the Fellowship. Aragorn and Sevegilia approach from behind Boromir.
"Gollum. He has tracked us since Moria." Sevegilia says. A sort of disgust is visible in her voice but also pitty. Gollum watches Boromir and Aragorn stand behind the rock. The log runs into a rock on the opposite side of the river and stops. "I had hoped we would lose him on the river. But he's too clever a waterman." Aragorn says as he and Boromir continue watching Gollum.
Sevegilia has now made it to the campfire, sitting down beside Frodo. "Have some food, Mr. Frodo," Sam says. "No, Sam," Frodo says. Sevegilia takes suddenly his hand against her chest. Her icy blue eyes boring into his calm blue ones. "You haven't eaten anything all day. You're not sleeping, either. Don't think I haven't noticed. You need food, young one. Feel my heart. Feel how its beast is going. If you don't tend to yourself, your heart is gonna stop and we will never make it to Mordor." She says. Concern and authority plead her soft voice.
Sam then moves from the campfire to sit with them. "Mr. Frodo, here," he says and hands Frodo a bowl. Sevegilia smile.
Suddenly Aragorn sits down next to her, startling the young girl.
"Oh I'm sorry, I didn't mean to startle you." He said, apology ringing in his voice. Sevegilia smiled at him and patted him on the shoulder.
"It's okay Aragorn. But do you wanna say something?" She asked while tilting her head slightly.
"Uh no.." Aragorn said, a little embarrassed. Legolas came over to them.
"Sevi?" He said. Sevigalia smiled up at him and formed into a beautiful white wolf, on the size of a horse. She then curled up beside Aragorn's feet's but her ears were twisting, listing after sounds.
"Yes, Legolas?" She said after a while. She still had her head under her tail. She could feel that Legolas was embarrassed to ask her, but she then lifted her head and looked at him with her icy blue eyes. They held affection and pain.
"Do you wanna take a watch with me tonight?" He said. Sevigalia nodded and smiled a wolfy smile. Her ear twitched at a slight sound of logs being dropped down. Soon she jerked up, her lips twitching in anger. Then she darted off towards where she had heard the sound.
When she had reached the place she had heard the sound, she was met by the sight of Boromir sitting on the ground. She could hear silent sobs from him. She moved quietly, and when she reached him, she laid her big head on his back.
He stopped sobbing and sat up. Sevigalia sat down and tilted her head, understanding what had just happened.
"I will go and find Frodo." She said after a while. Boromir nodded and Sevigalia ran off towards where Frodo's scent was strong.
"Frodo?" She called out, and where answered by a few whimpers. Her ears were half pressed against her head and her eyes were focused on fordo who was sitting on the ground, the ring in his palm.
"I'm here to help you Frodo," Sevigalia said gently as she sat down a few paces in front of Frodo.
"Will you take the ring?" He suddenly asked her, offering the ring to her. Sevigalia smiled and stood up, walking closer to Frodo. Her size was a lot compared to Frodo. She looked down at him. "No, I will not. I know the power of the ring and I will not risk anything to take it. I will more risk my life to destroy it." Sevigalia had now her snout against Frodo's palm. She then licked it, and then pressed her snout against his fingers so they closed.
Then she heard them, the sound of many footsteps. She whipped around, baring her teeth and flatting her ears against her head. Then they come. A few 1800 maybe but still many. She stood protecting in front of Frodo. "Run!" She shouted and pounced on the uru-kai who was close to her. She bit off its throat and threw it against a tree.
"You're in the wrong place, scums of hell." She growled. Soon she heard a horn. The horn of Gondor. She turned her head to see if Frodo was gone. Yes, he was. She could see him run away from the Uru-Kais. They seemed not to notice him and all of them had focused on her. Then she felt it. Anger flooding in her veins. The feeling of shapeshifting into the beast she once was. Scales covered the fur and her teeth grew longer and sharper. Her claws also few longer. Her fluffy tail grew into a scaly long tail. Her wolf legs become scaly dragon legs.
When she had shifted, she roared. The roar shaking the ground. The Uru-Kais seem surprised and don't have enough time before she had crushed them with her wings. Or more blew them away and they landed dead.
"Sevigalia!" She heard Aragorn call. She turned around and saw the surprised faces of her friends. She then saw that Boromir was missing. "Where's Boromir?" She asked wearily. "He left to join the dead," Aragorn said, sadness in his voice. Sevigalia's eyes flooded with tears. She sit down and shifted back to her elven form. Then she let them out. Crystal tears flooded down her cheeks.
Aragorn and Legolas patted her and tried their best to comfort her. While Gimli also Stood there. Gandalf hugged her gently. "Shh dear, we will rescue Pippin and Merry now for they have been taken by the uru-kai that survived." He said while releasing the hug. Sevigalia wiped her tears and stood up. "We will not let Pippin and Merry be tormented to death." She paused for a moment before sighing and backed away from the 3 men and dwarf. She then shifted into a big white Frisian horse. Her long curly mane hangs down on one side of her neck.
"It will go faster if you ride," she said. The 3 men and dwarf looked in awe at the beautiful mare. Legolas first made his way onto her back and helped himself up by holding her mane. Then Aragorn and last Gandalf and Gimli.
"How long have you been this?" Legolas asked as he stroke her soft neck. "I don't know. I just know that we need to get there fast so I just thought of something that can take us there fast" Sevigalia said. Then she reared a little, but not too much. Then she galloped towards Rohan.

What do you think? I think it became quite good and I am looking forward to writing about Rohan. Until then~
