It was now one day to the twins birthday. A day that was supposed to be celebrated, turned into a day that Bree and Conner never wanted to see come. They had told Charlotte and Bob their plan, and they agreed to it. Bree got a little bag for Scarlet ready so they could bring to their house and brought it downstairs. That day, Conner spent the entire day with Alex trying to find anything else hoping to end this before it started. Meanwhile, Bree was home with the twins playing and having fun with them. The twins were already walking and speaking baby talk. Bree read to them, played with them in the yard, soon Red, Goldilocks, Ruby and Hero came in with a box.

"What are you guys doing here?" She asked.

"Well, we didn't know what tomorrow would be so, my chef made them two little cakes." Red said and set the box down on the table.

"Awe, thank you Red." Bree said. She opened the box, it was two simple cakes that were blue and pink. One had Sophie's name on it and the other had Scarlets.

"They look so cute! Thank you."  She said.

"Your welcome. We were thinking of having a little party tonight for them, before you take Scarlet." Goldilocks said.

"I would love that, thank you guys."

"Mom, Sophie is chasing me!" Hero said. They walked into the living room, and saw Sophie was chasing trying to catch Hero, while Ruby sat on the couch with Scarlet laughing.

"That's funny." Ruby said laughing at him. Bree held back laughing and picked up Sophie.

"Ok, I think it's nap time." Bree said. Sophie went and reached out for Hero and said something that sounded like No, no. Scarlet got off the couch and grabbed one of her baby books and walked to the stairs. Goldilocks grabbed Scarlet and brought her upstairs with Bree behind her.

Meanwhile at the Fairy Palace, Alex was looking through her grandmothers files, and books, to see if she can find something. But Conner was in the hall of dreams, looking at all the flying orbs. Alex soon walked in and stood beside him.

"Anything yet? Conner asked.

"No, nothing." Alex said. "I'm sorry."

"Alex what if this doesn't work. I'll lose one of my little girls." Conner said with tears forming in his eyes.

"Conner, the portal will be under strict surveillance all night. No one is coming in or out." Alex said.

"Thank you Alex." Conner said and smiled at his sister.

Downstairs, the Fairy Council we're having a secret meaning without Alex. They knew they would get in trouble, but it was for their own good.

"I think I have found out who will be taking little Scarlet tonight." Emerelda said.

"Who?" Coral asked.

"Hester." Emerelda said.

"Oh my gosh. We haven't seen her in forever. Isn't she dead?" Xanthous said. "She ran away when she was like what ten years old?"

"Yes, but she said that she would come back for her revenge." Emerelda said.

"I thought we were done with this villain nonsense. Maybe we should go get Alex and Conner." Mother Goose said.

"No, not yet, because we don't even know if this assumption is right." Emerelda said. A silver smoke then appeared and to their surprise the person they were talking about appeared.

"Well, well ,well, if it isn't little Hester." Mother Goose said.

"Yes, how are all of you. Haven't seen you in years."

"Are you the one that is going to take the baby?" Coral asked.

"Guilty as charged." She said and smiled.

"What's your plan Hester?" Tangerina said.

"It's not mine. I'm helping a friend. A friend, who has the same story as me. Abandoned by family, orphaned, and left to survive alone in the woods." She said. "Well, I just dropped in to say hi, and say that you'll never stop me."

She then disappeared, leaving the Fairies stunned.

"We have to tell Alex and Conner." Mother Goose said.

"No...that'll lead into a longer story." Emerelda said.

"We don't have to tell them the entire thing." Coral said.

Emerelda thought about it for a while. She didn't like keeping things from the twins. She knew it wouldn't end well, but she was a afraid. Hester was very powerful, and could sense the powerfulness of anyone's magic. She said that Scarlet was destined to be dark. What if she was right. They didn't need that in their world.

"But she did say that Scarlet would be dark." Emerelda said.

"But we can fix that. Teach her good." Rosette said.

"You can't fix a path that's already been decided by magic. But I agree, let's tell Alex and Conner."

"Tell us what?" Conner said walking into the room, with Alex beside him.

Emerelda told Alex and Conner about how Hester was working for someone and that she needed Scarlet for some sort of plan. She didn't tell them how they knew her (knowing that was a story for another time), but they told them that she was just another threat, that has been kept quiet for years.

"Do you know where she lives?" Alex asked.

"No. We think it's somewhere in the Dwarf Forests. But a long time ago we searched for her. We searched every part of those woods, and we couldn't find her." Emerelda said. "We don't know where she is. But we are certain that she is the one."

Conner sat on his chair and sighed. There was really nothing they could do, except hope and pray that their plan would work.

"So would our plan to send Scarlet to the Otherworld work?" Conner asked.

"I would think so. But Hester doesn't have magic, she is just very very good at making potions. Best I've ever seen." Emerelda said.

"Then I'm staying in the Otherworldly tonight. Just in case. I've got to head home, to tell Bree." Conner said and stood up. "We'll see you in the morning."

Alex and Conner walked outside and Conner mounted his horse.

"I'll be over in a few, with Arthur and Ally." Alex said.

"Ok. See you later." Conner said and rode off back home. He rode all the way home sobbing. He didn't want this day to come, he wanted to see his twins grow up together like him and Alex. He dismounted his horse and put him in the stable. He wiped away his tears, and walked into the house and saw, Bree, Goldilocks, Red, Jack, and Froggy. He also saw the twins, and Hero and Ruby all playing on the floor.

"Can I talk to you all in the kitchen?" Conner said. Everyone got up and walked into the kitchen.

"What's wrong?" Bree said.

"We've found the person that's going to take Scarlet." Conner said.

"You did!" Bree said excitedly. "So how can we stop her."

"We can't. She basically to an unknown to the Fairy Council. No one really knows who she is, or where she lives."

"How do they know her though?" Goldilocks asked.

"What they told me is that she lived in the kingdom for a very short time, so they didn't know much about her. All they know is that she's good at making potions, and that she did want to follow in the steps of the villains." Conner said.

"So she's basically unstoppable." Bree said.

"Yes...I can't believe I'm saying that. But, I'm going to stay in the Otherworld tonight to watch over her. Bree, don't worry, no one is taking her tonight." He said and put his hand on her cheek. Bree smiled and kissed him.

"I know with you she'll be safe." She said.

"Well, Conner we can celebrate the twins birthday now if you want. I had my chef make two little cakes for them." Red said.

"That would be great Red. Thank you." Conner said.

That night, Alex and her family went to Bree and Conners house. Bree put the cakes on the table and put a little candle on them. Bree and Conner picked up the twins and they all sang happy birthday. Bree and Conner blew out the little candles for them. Sophie couldn't wait so she leaned forward and stuck her hand deep into the cake, and ate the cake off her hand. Scarlet saw Sophie and did the same thing. Everyone laughed, they thought it was so cute. Ruby and Hero then asked for some cake. Red brought out a cake specially made for them, and cut it. It was soon ready for Conner and Scarlet to go to the Otherworld. Bree got the bag she made, with Scarlets bottle, pjs, and a change of clothes.

"Bree, don't worry, nothing will happen." Conner said.

"I trust you." Bree said holding Sophie in her arms.

"Bye Sophie." Conner said and kissed her forehead. Sophie's eyes started to water, as she waved goodbye. "Don't worry I'll be back in the morning."

"Come Conner, I'll take you to the palace in the carriage." Froggy said.

"After can you take us home too?" Jack asked.

"Sure." Froggy said. "Come one guys."

"Bye Conner." Bree said and hugged him.

"I'll be back tomorrow." Conner said. Scarlet reach out for Bree and whined. Bree kissed her on her forehead and she waved goodbye.

Later that night Conner and Scarlet were in the guest room of Charlotte and Bobs house. Conner put Scarlet to sleep, and then Charlotte came in.

"How are you doing Conner?" Charlotte asked.

"So far so good. You can go to bed mom, don't worry. I've got my sword, and no one is getting in."

"Ok, good night." Charlotte said, and left the room.  Conner sat on the bed with his hand on his sword, as he watch Scarlet peaceful sleeping in her crib.  The clock then struck midnight, and the windows burst open.  Conner stood up with his hand wrapped tightly around the sword.  Hester "Holly"  then appeared.

"Ugh, I thought I was done putting people to sleep."  Holly said.

"Hello Hester, your not getting my child."  Conner said.

"I knew you would do this.  So I prepared myself for this...you can't hurt me." 

"Wait, how did you know I'd be here?"  Conner asked.

"I can read the future.  I knew you were having two twin girls before you even knew, and I know that your little Scarlet has a dark future."  Holly said.  "Now, I'm tired, it's been a long night."

Holly threw a potion on Conner and he instantly fell asleep and fell on the bed.  Scarlet then started to cry, Holly picked her up and smiled at her.  Scarlet instantly stopped crying.

"Hello little Scarlet.  I'm excited to be your new mommy."  Holly then disappeared.

In the morning, Bree and Sophie hopped threw the portal (quickly without seeing anyone) to see Conner and Scarlet.  Bree knocked on the door, and what seemed like a very stressed out Charlotte opened the door.

"Charlotte, what's wrong?"  Bree asked worried.

"It's Conner, we can't wake him up...and Scarlet is gone."  Charlotte said.  Bree gasped and ran up stairs holding on tightly to Sophie.  She ran into the guest room, and saw Conner asleep on the bed.  Bree set Sophie down, and sat next to Conner.  She shook him and tried to get him awake.  She then kissed him, and he instantly woke up.

"What happened?"  Conner said.

"What happened last night Conner?"  Charlotte asked.

"It was Hester.  She was here, before I could do anything she put this spell on me.  I couldn't fight it, it was too strong."  Conner said.  "Bree...honey I'm so sorry!"

"It's ok...we, we..." Bree started to tear up.  Conner saw her crying and hugged her.  "Conner she's gone.  We failed!"

Bree cried into Conners shoulder and he cried into hers.  Sophie tried climbing up onto the bed, Bree noticed her and picked her up and they hugged her tightly.

"What are we going to do Bree?"

"I don't know.  But I know in the future, Sophie won't remember her."

"Should we keep it like that?"

"S...Scarlet."  Sophie said and pointed to the crib.  Bree looked at Conner with watery eyes and they both nodded.

"Who Sophie?"
