{Donnie's Pov}

me and my brothers were getting ready to blow up a TCRI building....why? because this particular building had everything Baxter stockman could use for mutation and other ways of finding whatever they need to use against us. so destroying the lab will slow them down to a halt until they find another way "okay you all ready?" we all nod as we began the mission 

/TIME SKIP/

Mikey was headed to press the big red self destruct button as i searched the lab. suddenly my attention was drawn by metal bars, they were keeping something here but what i saw wasn't at all what i suspected "uh guys?" Leo looked at me and began to walk over "yeah Donnie?" i gestured to the cage as Leo walked over inside the cage was a female turtle with a pink bandanna as well as an injury to her head

"what the..." Leo stared in shock as  well as wonder "what on earth were they doing in here..." i thought to myself as Raph walked over "i have no idea but she's fast asleep from the looks of it" i nodded in agreement. she didn't even move when we spoke so she's either a heavy sleeper or sedated "we should get her out of here before the place blows up, Leo think you can find the keys to the-" Raph then removed the bars from the wall with ease "or that could work" i walked inside and picked her up and soon after Mikey came running towards us "WE GOT 3 MINUTES DUDES" he sped past us running out the doors. we soon followed after as the TCRI building blew up

/TIME SKIP TO THE LAIR/

Sensei was just as confused as the rest of us when i walked in with another mutant turtle in my arms but all my attention at the moment was making sure she didn't have any more sever injuries like broken bones. i patched up her head and luckily she didn't have any more major injuries, she was currently asleep on a makeshift bed i made for her....keyword 'was' she was actually waking up that's why my brothers Casey April and splinter were here. as her eyes fluttered open she stared at us in confusion and concern "hey...its okay were friendly" she looked sceptical "we rescued you from TCRI" i held out my hand for her to stand up "......y-your...turtles?" i chuckled softly as she grabbed my hand "yeah i can't blame you for being confused we thought the same when we saw you" i lifted her on her feet as she nodded "your not like Baxter... your nice" i tilted my head "did he give you that injury?" she shook her head and scoffed "ass hat dog pound did that" Raph burst out laughing "oh my god she's the fucking best" she smiled "fish face hates you" he nodded and smirked "feelings mutual" she snickered softly "what is your name child..." she looked over at Sensei and muttered under her breath "can you repeat that?" she spoke up "L-Lucia my name is Lucia.....after the renaissance painter" mikey rolled his eyes "shredder is SOOO original" raph snickered in agreement "oh hush you two!, Lucia is a beautiful name" i smiled softly at her "T-thank you..." she smiled back at me with a soft blush dusting her cheeks. and so that's how the lab experiment came into our lives
