Chapter six:

Leen's P.O.V

I always make sure i come early in literature not because it is my favorite subject but because the last time i came late, the teacher warned me of having detention if i came late one more time, so here i am sitting alone in the class.

I didnt wait long to see people enter, one of them was Zayn.
Hes a nice guy even though he gets offended quite alot with my jokes. I was sitting at the third row analyzing everywhere because i was bored. I see that stalker, i mean Carlos (i need to get used to call him by his name) rushing next to Zayn. After some time i hear them laugh and talk. I have so many questions: why did carlos rush to sit next to Zayn specifically? And why were they already talking as if they knew each other so well.

After some time of staring, pretending to read so people would leave me alone, the teacher finally comes in with 15min late. Ms.Grenfild is sweating like hell, something must have happened yesterday and she must have slept late and forgot to wake up hah.

I walk through the halls eyeing around me looking for Abi, and there she is talking with some guy. I can bet that this guy is asking for her number and will later just want to fuck her, and throw her like trash.

She doesnt deserve to be treated like that. That is why i, Leen is always looking out for her before she does some stupid shit her immature acts would make her go through. Luckily, i am here and this is the reason she isnt pregnant till now.

I smirk as how foolish that guy is now looking because i had just snatched his ''tonight's dirty time"
out of his property. Both of us are walking through the halls, brings me back to kindergarten, but instead of having the people laughing because of how different i looked when i way small. People now just stare and sometimes whisper but isnt worth of getting all mad. You will always have people whispering whatever you do and however you look.

With my backpack on one of my shoulder, i enter the canteen. Abi was already heading to our normal spot, while my eyes were stuck on Carlos, sitting alone. I felt bad for him because i knew he wasnt bad, but instead was kind of inoccent for a guy.

Filled with guilt, i grab Abi's arm heading over to Carlos's table.
"Look at how lonely he looks" i say.
"Okay fiinee" she says, not really bothered.

After having talked to Carlos i havent changed my perception of him. He still is innocent, but way nicer than i thought. And god, he can keep up conversations, we havent gotten any awkward silence like the previous people ive talked to.

I dont know why but i feel like we are going to be friends. There is that passing connection through us, that makes it easy for us to talk and understand each other with only a few words.

After school i had to walk alone, Abi had a dentist apointment so her dad picked her up. I got used to walk with Abi, but i am not scared of being alone anyways I've been practicing self defence since i was 7 with my dad. Sometimes i wish someone would block my way and be like "give me your money" and ill be all ninja activated on that dude.

Anyways, as i was heading home i spot Carlos waiting for someone, his car i assume since he doesnt have friends,(I wonder if he considers us as his friends).

Whatever, i go up to him since we are now neighbours and friends, i guess. We could walk home, i mean were neighbours come on, and we dont live that far either.

"Hey, miss me much" i smirk. Holyshit, why am i like this, why can't i just say 'hi' like a normal tamed citizen.

"Hey, what are you up to?" He says.

"Not much, you heading home" i said, pointing any random direction.

"Yes" he says taking my hand which was pointing the wrong direction, and positoning it heading exactly where our buildings are.

"Ooh, i see mister is attentive" i reply teesing around.
"You walk or someones picking you up" i finished

"My mom is supposed to pick me up but i guess she forgot me, we could just walk i guess, i gotta call her first, to tell im walking" he says, looking semi nervous.

After telling his Mama, we head home. The walk was more interesting than i thought.

After my insulting jokes, he insults me back which is kind of my point of insulting my friends.

We talked about embarrasing stuff, things we did but dont want to admit. I had fun. I could see that he did too.

"If someone comes right now and attacks us. What would you do?" I said out of nowhere.

I could see him shocked but amused. "I would personally scream like a girl and run leaving you with the psycothic dude" he says laughing and slightly blushing ahhaha.

"I am shocked. Wont you rip off your pants like superman and stay in your underwears showing your tanned abs". I smirk wiggling my eyebrows up and down.

"Since when did you assume i had abs" he says curious.
"Mmh since the day you stalked me by my window, presicely 23rd August" i said trying to act all intellectual but he got me again when he says,

"It actually was on the 21st HAH" He says infesising on the last words.

"Wanna do something tomorrow after school" he says, clearly not knowing anything of the town.

"Ughh" i said thinking but procrastinating. "Whyyy"

"Come on its gonna be fun, you're choosing the place, isnt that enough?" he says, thinking i am going to change my mind.

But i did "Okey..Tomorrow meet me by your window at 6 and we will both head out together, i dont want to wait outside like a creep, i mean like you" i say laughing at my own joke.

"Hah real funny" he says mocking my laugh and my expressions.

Not to hide the fact that his imitations are pretty impressive.
