Despite how hard it was teaching, Percy managed to find a friend in Dumbeldore himself.

Percy was out walking the halls late in the night, when he heard shuffling. Puzzled, he walked towards the source and found a student crying.

"You do know you shouldn't be out so late right?"

The girl  flinched. "I-Im sorry sir"

Percy frowned. "I'm not that old you know" "I'm only 23" he then sat down beside her and turned his gaze towards the night sky.

"Aren't the stars so pretty?"

"H-Huh?" The girl echoed. "I guess so"

"What's your name?" Percy inquired.

"Um I'm Daisy"

"Daisy huh"

Silence then fell over them. "

"Aren't you going to ask me what's wrong?"

Percy hummed. "No" "only if you're comfortable"

The girl although wary, felt at peace. She didn't realize that she had dozed off until she awoke.

She repeatedly apologized to Percy and  was about to leave, when he called out to her.

"I know you're not my student, but if you do need someone to talk to, you know where to find me"

Daisy nodded with a smile and left hurriedly.

Soon after Percy followed.

The next few days were days off for everyone. The atmosphere was friendly and everywhere was littered with happy students.

While Percy was grading papers, he was interrupted by a knock.

"Come on in"

"Oh it's you Daisy!"

The girl smiled and handed him a basket full of food.

"It's to thank you for last time"

Percy got flustered and insisted it wasn't necessary. He eventually gave in.

It wasn't until some time had passed that the girl spoke up.

"I'm ready to tell you now" "I really want to tell you about this"

"I was crying not because I'm bullied, but because I've been lonely" "you see my parents were caught up in the battle against voldemort and died"

Percy stayed silent as she kept ranting. When he was sure Daisy was done, he hesitated before hugging her. She sobbed and hugged him tightly.

"I can't promise you it'll be ok, but you must never give up"

She nodded before leaving.

However before she could a very unfamiliar and unpleasant voice rang out.

"What is this nonsense?!"
