The name 'Hobo Joe' originated from the 1940's when hobos were stealing everything and Hobo Joe was the head hobo of the world. He had a pet alley cat name Gerald. He made sure all the hobettes had food for the night by stealing beef jerky every night from the Drug Store. When you meet Hobo Joe, thank him for stealing all the jelly beans from your pockets.
