"Okay so tell me what that leprechaun said again?" Ethan asked. I picked up another slice of pizza. "That i was a half bread. He can see colors. But that he hadn't seen mine yet." "Okay so lets figure this out." He said. "Come on Ethan you don't really believe him do you?" "I don't know but it might explain the lack of talent." "Fine." I said sighing. "What don't we have here?" "I don't know?" I asked. "Oh i got it. Banshee maybe you're part banshee." "What is that exactly?" I asked. "Well i'm not sure we haven't learned that in my breads class yet. But i think it's a hot chick that screams and kills people." "What!? That's horrible!" I said.

"Well i'd ask you to try that out but i don't want to die so lets figure something else out. Mermaid. I mean if they stay in the water we'd never see them." "Unless they came on land." "Okay good point." He said. "Maybe we just go ask all of our professors one of them has to know something. Do you remember the other color he saw?" He asked. "Yea, fushia." Okay i say tomorrow we hit the ground running. "Alright, but we have another problem." I said. "Oh yea what's that?" He asked. "Well i heard about half breads. They have to come from two different breads." "Yea so?" "Well both my parents are fairies. And as far as i know i wasn't adopted."

"Your parents got some splanin to do!" He joked. "That's not funny Ethan." "Well i'm serious. Once we figure out what you are you need to get answers who better then to ask them." "I guess." "Maybe you should just go talk to them first." "Well yea but maybe they don't know that i'm different. Let's just wait. I don't exactly feel like a chatty Cathy right now." "Well i guess if you lied to me i wouldn't either." He said. I sighed. "I don't feel like studying anymore." I shoved the books over. "Good i never wanted to do that anyways. Wanna go to the club?" "Nah, i think i'll take a bath and go to sleep." "Okay if you sprout a tail let me know." "I think one would have sprouted before now." I said shaking my head. I picked up my towel from the dresser and left.

"I'm just gonna stay here and finish this pizza." He said holding up a slice. "Take your time." "Wait, i could do a spell." He said taking his wand from his back pocket." "And that spell would be?" "Here i'll make it up." "No you will not don't you dare point that thing at me!" I said. "Just listen." He waved the wand. "Sophia will plant a seed so tell me now what is her bread!" Flowers sprouted up and traveled around my ankles. "Yea, thanks Ethan that was real helpful." I said stepping over the flowers. "You wanna pick those and put them in a vase?" I said walking from the room.

When i got out of the shower there were flowers on my desk and Ethan had taken the pizza. I sighed crawling into bed. The next day we headed out early before any of the classes started to talk to the professors. Miss Cayne, my talents possessor was first. She was an elf. Her talent was being able to silence somebody with a look. Talk about a cool power to have. But it makes for a good teacher.

"Hi Miss Cayne. I have a question." I said. "Oh is it about the last test?" She asked not looking up from her papers. "No." She sat her papers down and looked up. "Okay what is it?" She asked. "Well, the other day i had picked up a pizza and the leprechaun said he noticed two colors on me." "Oh, so he can read auras." "Right and he said he saw two on me." "But that's impossible." She said.

"That's what i said but he had no reason to lie to me." "Well i know about auras. Tell me what colors he saw. Obviously purple." "And fushia." "That's odd. That's for a siren." She said. "A siren, like as in sings and causes ships to crash on the sea?" I asked. "Right, but that was before they really realized there true potential." "I told you you had an amazing singing voice." Said Ethan. "You can get somebody to look you in the eyes. Just a guy. And if he looks in your eyes you can control him." She said. "But i'd go talk to your parents this is exciting. I thought half breads were only a myth." "So did i, thank you so much for your help." I said. "Anytime. Keep me posted." "Of course."

Once outside on the bench. "We have GOT to test this out." "What?" I asked. "Well let's just see if it's true." "No i don't think this is a good idea. Besides i don't like the idea of controlling guys." I said. "Whatever, this makes perfect sense though. You can sing like crazy and you are drop dead gorgeous." He wasn't hitting on me, he was saying it as if he was stating a fact. Well i mean I've always had that effect on the opposite sex and i was able to get Dalton to empty the garbage. "

"Okay, please lets try it." He said. I laughed. "Okay, you wanna try it let's go." I looked into his eyes. "Give me twenty dollars." I said this only because he was so cheap and he hated to spend money on anything. I was surprised he even gave me money for the pizza the other day. He was saving up for this super cool wooden wand. Somebody in his class's dad makes them and he puts cool designs in them. He promptly reached into his pocket and handed me twenty dollars. I broke the eye contact.

I held up the twenty dollars. "Looks like it works." I said. He snatched the money from me. "Hey, what the heck?" He put the money into his pocket. "So is this like your talent?" He asked. "I don't know. It seems like the other part of me." "But maybe having both was to much and caused you to not have a talent." "Perhaps." "Shall we go talk to your parents?" "We? No no, i 'll go alone. This could get awkward" I said. "Well okay, let me know how it goes." He said standing up from the bench. "Will do, see you later." I said leaning into hug him. "Are you sure i can't come? You know lie detector here i can tell you if there still lying." He said. "No i'll take my chances, thanks though." I said waving.
