Your POV
You turn your head away from Claude, embarrassed at his touch. You wanted to protest, but you also wanted to keep quiet and try to enjoy it at the same time.
You look up at his gaze, which was not on you.
"Claude?" You ask innocently, curious at what he was gazing at. His gaze fell back to you.
"Yes, my flower?" He asked with a cheeky tone.
You got an uneasy feeling from his tone, but ignored it and slightly sighed. "What were you looking at?" you asked in your sweet voice, full of curiosity.
Claude smiled and stroked your cheek. "Nothing." he said softly.
You felt strangely distant as you nodded, not feeling warm in his grip. You lowered your gaze to a pebble on the ground as you closed your eyes in thought.
Claude let go and stood in front of you as someone came over, your head shot up from looking at the ground as you were met with the crimson eyes of a stranger.
"Hello," The stranger spoke smoothly. You slightly opened your mouth to say something, but Claude interrupted you.
"What are you doing here on his highness's property." Claude asked with his monotone. His gaze on the stranger was more of a glare, you could tell there was pure hatred between the two. You looked back at only the stranger, he wasn't looking at you so you had a chance to scan him. He wore white gloves, and had a black tailcoat. What caught your eyes the most, were his crimson eyes. They seemed lively, but with sadness hidden in them. You blinked and looked away, your eyes watering.
You wiped a tear away with your finger, it hurt. Everything hurt when you looked at the stranger. You put your hand on your chest as you tried to steady your breathing. You had no clue why you were crying, so it surprised you.
Both the men were just glaring at each other, focused only on their hate. The stranger's smirk fell.
You stepped back slightly, catching the attention of both of the men. "I-" your breath quickened. The more you looked at the stranger, the worse the pain became. You were slightly scared by this. The memories, the dreams, they all became jumbled in your head. The voices ran in your ears, pain coursed through your veins. You didn't know why, you wanted to push both the men away. But you also wanted to hug them both as tight as you could.
Confused, worried, scared, panicking, happy, curious, too many emotions-
caused you to pass out.
Only they knew why.
