Mia's P. O. V

    We are in my house, I entered into the house, leaving my brother and Avery in the car. When I got inside the house,the first person I saw was my mum's twin sister Annalisa.

    "Where is Joel and Amanda?", Aunt Annalisa asked.

    " You mean Avery",I asked.

    "Is that what she's known as now....... I mean yeah Avery", she said.

   " She is with Joel in his car. Did you come with Jeremiah?",I asked.

    "Yeah, I did", she said and I left her to greet the other family member.

     Who is Jeremiah you may ask. Jeremiah is my cousin and Aunt Annalisa's child. Jeremiah has a twin brother, Nehemiah. They have been like an elder brother to me, and are my partner in crime. Jeremiah and Nehemiah are working, they are working in United kingdom as medical doctor, they just came for the family reunion held every year. They didn't come last year or the year before, so I am so glad to see them. Jeremiah is married while Nehemiah is engaged. Jeremiah is married with two adorable children (twins).

    " Hey brother, long time",I said as I hugged Jeremiah.

    "My little sister is looking all big and grown up. Where is Joel?", he asked, pulling away from me as he scanned the sitting room for Joel.

    " He is with his girlfriend ",I said acting like I don't care cause I actually don't.

    " Amanda right?",he asked.

     "Why do you and Aunt call her Amanda? Her name is Avery, Avery Adebisi", I said.

    " I thought mum said her name is Amanda Kingsley, I guess I misheard. Well where are they?",he asked.

    When he saw Joel and Avery approaching the door, he said, "There they are......I will talk to you later", he said as he kissed my forehead and went to meet them. I looked at him greet them before I removed my eyes from them and went to meet my mum in the kitchen because I know that's where she will be. Before I could enter I heard Aunt Annalisa say.

   " I can't wait to see Amanda"

    "She is Avery now, Lisa",my mum said.

    " Do they think changing her name will keep me from finding out who she really is?", Aunt Lisa asked.

    "Why do you hate them anyways?",my mum asked.

     " Let's just say, their family killed one of mine",my Aunt Lisa said and I became shocked.

      "Where is Aunt?", I heard someone say behind me.

     I turned around and saw Angel and Nehemiah," They are busy",I said.

    "Tell them Joel and Avery are here",Angel said.

    " Sure, I will. Just give me five minutes ",I said.

    " Now",Nehemiah said and I was forced to enter the kitchen.

   "How long have you been standing there?", Aunt Lisa asked.

   " I just came now",I lied.

   "Are they here now?"my mum asked referring to Joel and Avery.

   " Yeah, they should be in the sitting down or the living room",I said.

  "Okay", my mum said. Lisa left and my mum left in search of my brother and Avery.

    No wonder, I hated her so much, no wonder her presence disguise me, no wonder I have this natural hatred for her, she killed a member or my family, she didn't directly kill a member of my family but someone  or some people in her family did, I always knew there was something up with her.

     " Mia, come and say hi to your uncle ",I heard my mum say from the sitting room.

    " Now?",I asked.

    "Yes now",my Aunt Amelia said.

      I went to the sitting room and greeted my dad's brother. My dad is the first son, followed by Uncle Isaiah and then Aunt Amelia. They are just three in their family. Uncle Isaiah is an inquisitive person and it tends to be annoying most times, poking nosing in other peoples business all in the name of wanting to know more about his niece.

    " Good evening, Uncle Isaiah ",I greeted.

    " How are you, Mia?",he asked.

    "Am good. How are my cousins doing?", I asked.

   " They are in the car, they should be here any moment from now ",he said.

    When I thought he was done in talking, he continued," You are looking bigger now".

    "That's what I told her when I saw her. She's looking more beautiful and bigger. Very soon suitors will be asking for her hand in marriage", Jeremiah said.

    " She has one currently ",my mum shouted from the hallway.

    " I was shocked when I saw her too",Nehemiah laughed.

    "Will you guys stop already? I am not that big. Have you seen Angel, Mary, Ella,Veronica and Chelsy?", I asked.
  
     " No, where are they anyways",Nehemiah asked.

    "Mary will be here with her boyfriend very soon", I said as I turned to leave for my room.

    " Boyfriend? ",Nehemiah and Jeremiah asked.

    " Yeah",I said as I turned to face them.

   "Imagine Mary has a boyfriend and you don't have one. Mary is just 19years old but you are 22 years old and yet you don't have one", Uncle Isaiah said and I swear I felt embarrassed. He does it all the time, he always finds a way to humiliate and embarrass me.

    " Uncle Isaiah, its not all about the age, when the right guy comes I am sure he will treat her like the queen she is. I don't want her to rush into a relationship all because of your constant persuasion of getting a boyfriend. When she finds the right guy she will introduce him to us, like we always do. Your daughter Veronica is my age mate yet she doesn't have a boyfriend yet not to talk of a suitor. But my sister has a suitor just like my mum said, so please don't indirectly insult my sister again",Joel said and I felt proud, proud that my brother could stand up for me.

    "Yes, Uncle Isaiah she is still young so no need to rush her. Please let's not talk about this again, if you talk about this with Mia again,I will tell Aunt Annabelle about this and trust me, she won't be happy about it", Nehemiah said. Uncle Isaiah looked at Joel, then at Nehemiah, then at Jeremiah and finally at me before he left.

     " Mary is here with a guy and so is Avery's dad",I heard Angel say.
