Chapter Three

{Olivia's POV}

After I overheard James and Veronica laughing about some stupid bet that Cole made saying he would sleep with me, I just lost it. I knew he was a dick but this is an all time low.

The whole day I got lucky and didn't see him in any of my classes but when my last class came around, there he was sitting right next to me again.

"Look I'm sorry about the bet. I wasn't going to go through with it," he lied.

"Save it for someone who cares," I said before turning to look out the window.

"Go out on a date with me and I'll prove it," he said seriously.

"I'm not falling for this. Clearly this is just a pawn to sleep with me. I'm not stupid so fuck off," I said annoyed.

"Ehm is there something you want to share with the class Cole Anderson and Olivia Bowman?" The teacher asked since we were talking.

"No actually-" I said before I was cut off.

"Yes actually," Cole said before standing up and heading to the front of the class.

"Olivia Bowman. Will you please accompany me on a date Friday night? I promise I will make all this up to you," he said embarrassing me.

"I can't believe you," I said before getting up and leaving the class.

"Olivia wait!" He said while following me down the hall.

"Leave me alone," I said as I continued to walk into the bathroom where I knew he wouldn't follow.

But I guess I was wrong because he was right behind me. "Get out of here," I said before he gently pushed me against the wall.

"I will not stop until I get what I want and what I want is you," he said seriously.

"Oh you got me. I want you too so bad," I said sarcastically before pushing him away from me.

"I'm serious Olive," he said seriously.

"All I'm asking for is one date and if it sucks I'll take you home immediately and then you never have to talk to me again," he pleaded.

By the look on his face I could tell he was being serious. I have no idea why though because I'm not that special but it made me feel bad for him.

"Ugh one date," I said before leaving the bathroom.

"I'll pick you up at seven!" He yelled after me but I just kept walking.

Since the day ended, I found Megan in the parking lot so I could take her home. "I'm going with Justin," she tried to complain.

"Well I need your help," I said as Justin looked at me confused.

"With what?" They asked at the same time.

Since I didn't want Justin to know I pulled Megan aside. "Cole Anderson just asked me out on a date and I have no idea what to wear," I said a little embarrassed.

"There's no way he asked you out," she said in disbelief.

"I'm not ugly you know," I said angrily.

"Yeah but your not his type either," she said rudely.

"You know what just forget I even asked you," I said while walking off to my car.

"Fine I'll help you!" She yelled after me before kissing Justin goodbye and running over to me.

When we got in the car she started to examine me. "What are you doing?" I asked as she played in my hair.

"I'm thinking of some hair styles for you. Also we need to go to the mall not your closet cause I know you don't have any thing hot in there," she said seriously.

"I used to be popular at one point in time. My clothes used to be the best," I said as a matter of factly.

"Yeah used to be. Therefore we're going to the mall," she said before I headed to the mall.

I just let Megan do all the picking out since I could really care less about a dress. I didn't want to get too dressed up cause I don't want him to think I like him.

"Okay I've got you an outfit, accessories, and some shoes. Now you have about two hours to get ready so let's go," she said before we left the mall.

When we got home, she handed me all the stuff and told me to take a shower and put them on. I hadn't even looked at the outfit but I trusted her to not make me look like a complete fool.

And she didn't. I thought she would put me in a dress but I guess that was for her because she put me in an outfit I was definitely comfortable in.

A leather jacket,

A white crop top and beanie,

Some black jeans and some black and white converse.

I definitely looked badass and it was all thanks to my sister. "You actually look good," she said when I got done getting dressed.

"Thanks," I said before the doorbell rang.

"That must be them," Megan said excitedly.

"Them? What do you mean them?" I asked while following her down the steps.

"Justin's here too silly," she said before opening the door and running up to hug him.

"Hey baby," Justin smiled.

"I missed you," she said before Cole came up to me.

"You look beautiful," he said looking at me like I was attractive.

"I know," I said with attitude. "You don't look too bad."

"Well thanks I guess," he said awkwardly before my dad came out.

"What is going on here?" He asked confused.

"Daddy we're going on dates," Megan said innocently.

"Mhm well in that case, you both need to be home by ten," my dad said seriously.

"Works for me," I said not wanting to go in the first place.

"But daddy-" Megan complained before my dad interrupted.

"No buts," he said before going back into his room.

"Well let's go then," Cole said before grabbing my hand and leading me to his car.
