It was one forty-five when Liam's alarm to leave sounded. He set down his book and grabbed his phone, his wallet, and his house keys. He walked to his mother's office. "Hey, mom?"

"Yeah?"

"I'm leaving, okay?"

"Okay, have fun."

"Will do," Liam said as he walked out of the office, down the hall, and out the door. He lifted his phone and opened his GPS app. He entered the address. 3998 Poplar Street, he thought as he typed it in. He tapped go and set on his way to Mia's house.

He arrived at two exactly. Odd coincidence, he thought as he walked up to the door. He knocked. Soani answered the door. "MIIIIAAAA! Your boyfriend's here!" She yelled behind her.

"He's not my boyfriend Soani," Mia said, walking up behind Soani. Mia was wearing a green T-shirt and faded blue jeans.

Not yet.

"You sure about that?" Soani smirked.

"Go away Soani, go bother mom."

"Nah, bothering you is much more fun."

Mia turned to Liam. "I'm sorry I'm related to such a brat."

"I'm not the brat, you are!"

"You sure about that?" Mia replied in a mocking tone.

"Mooom! Mia-"

"Mom! I'm leaving!"

"Okay, have fun dear!'

"Will do!" Mia answered.

The pair stepped out the door and began their walk.
