Because Percy Jackson was a siren. The saccharine sweet sounds that spilled forth from his lips like pouring honey were a weapon in their own right, and neither gods nor mortals were prepared for the all-encompassing, dangerous tide Percy Jackson was.

How easy it was to make them all drown.

Mostly just twisted canon, except Percy is a siren. He speaks to Luke, empathises with Luke. Convinces Ares to return the bolt of his own volition. Its majorly open - you could take it down any route. Percy sweet-talking Kronos. Even Zeus. Winning the favour of all the Gods. Percy convincing Ethan to join their side so Ethan never dies. You could deviate fully from canon or you could stay. You could write about how Percy's siren voice had got Bianca to listen to him - and so Bianca survived. It's free reign over how much depth you'd like to explore. You could even ignore canon and push Percy into the mortal world. Maybe Percy said yes to immortality and juggles Olympus' politics.

This idea is vague, mostly on purpose. I strongly believe that this idea develops naturally and will change from writer to writer. It's about the dynamics you enjoy, the relationships you want to see as a writer yourself. Some may write this as a dark Percy fic, where some may make it a depressed, post-war fic, where Percy doesn't battle real monsters, but overcomes those that haunt him. Maybe he grows to loathe the sound of his own voice, hate that it bends people to his will without him trying. Maybe he hates his own power. Its a fic idea that has so much room for development! 📝 Summary of the Idea: Nico and Will going to a NORMAL school. Nit a boarding school. Not Camp Half-blood. A public school where monsters are students and their friends come to help fight them from time to time.

⚡ Key Plot Points: 1. They are dating, but Nico is still shy about it, so he doesn't tell anyone. Because of this, Will feels kinda unwanted and they get in a fight about it.

2. Percabeth shows up in the middle of a class history taught by a monster and they need their help.

3. They DON'T get expelled, after they "killed a teacher and his kid." They learn that ther is another traitor at Camp, telling them where everyone is stationed. It could be an OC or a real character.

4. Once people find out about them dating, no one judges them. Nico and Will even make a friend who can see clearly!

5. The friend who can see clearly is on the brink of death, so Nico's powers go crazy as Will tries to heal her and they have to run. (They are in a school in San Francisco looking for extra demi-gods to recruit)

1. Nico gets dream of Hades telling him to stay at the farm and wait for someone in the night where Percy & Co are still there

2. A girl with a strange obsession with pomegranate juice appears when the others are gone

3. She teaches him to use his underworldy powers

3. Sends him into the labyrinth because she isn't allowed to change what the fates have decided is going to happen

4. Appears in Nico's dreams to guide him

5. Later convinces Hades to help in battle of Manhattan

Now the part starts where she isn't just a helpful person but her story starts

Before Percy disappears and Olympus stops communicating with the camps she finds out what she's the goddess of ( sounds dumb, I know, but I had that idea that gods have to go to the fates to accept the stuff they're the gods of ( you know what I mean?) ) I hade the idea to make her the goddess of the death judge, so she kinda just knows if a person deserves Elysium or should be punished or was just normal (can also see that when they're still alive) and I made pomegranates her sacred fruit because I thought that would fit to the whole daughter of Hades and Persephone thing

7. Can still visit camp because she doesn't have a roman form so she doesn't have that whole greek- roman dilemma so she kinda tries to help in the giant war

📝 Summary of the Idea: Will, son of Apolle has a secret: He's still scared of the dark, despite literally dating a ball of it. That feeling of mysterious black shrouded over him with the unknown scares him. So when Nico, his boyfriend, invites him to the underworld to have dinner with dad™ Will is unsure. He's still horrified from their last expedition to Tartarus (sun and the star). Nonetheless, Will would do anything for his boyfriend-even if it means getting stared down by Hades and acidentally blinding him and obliviously unwrapping nico's hand bandages in a fit of fidgeting. Things take an even further turn when Hades awkwardly tries to make small talk with them and Will ends up running to the bathroom because of nerves. At least Persephone's nice.

- Will is still horrified from the things he saw in Tartarus during the Sun and the Star

-He's reluctant to go to dinner and Nico gets kind of mad at him because he's hurt that Will still thinks that darkness and the underworld is bad" (his perception)

-when hades is attempting to have small talk with will his nerves rise because hades is so gaunt and will's light is fading a bit so it reminded him of a nightmare abt tartarus where his light extinguishes
