I helped her into the back of the limo, then slid in next to her. I felt like an awkward kid staring at her. "You, um, you do look very beautiful, Serenity. I'm glad you agreed to let me take you out tonight."

Her pupils were dilated slightly from Garen's influence as she spoke, "Well, Mr. Willet said I should give you a chance to explain more about this Eternal thing. I was just so scared. How can this work with me being human?"

"It works however you want it to, love," I purred, moving closer to her. She didn't pull away and I felt guilty for taking advantage of her entranced state for a brief moment, but like he said, I may never get another chance. "I am yours to command, Serenity. After tonight, if you say, I will go away and never contact you again. But until the night is over, I will do all I can to convince you that being Eternals is a rare and precious gift."

"How is it rare?"

I chuckled, letting my hand trail along her neck. She leaned into my touch instinctually. "Do you feel that tingle, those sparks when our skin meets? That's part of it. Now, close your eyes and give me your hand." She held out her hand and did as I asked. Quickly unbuttoning my shirt, I placed her hand over my mark. She let out a gasp that quickly turned into a moan. "This is your mark. It is emblazoned on my skin for all of eternity - a physical manifestation of the mark you have placed on my soul, Serenity. It is the beginning of a link that if nurtured, and completed will be stronger than anything you've ever known." Opening her eyes, her fingers traced the mark, lightly digging into my skin as I tugged her closer. My beast paced just beneath the surface, fangs aching to sink into her flesh, to claim what the gods had given us. One taste and she would never leave - the bond would ensure that, but I didn't want to trap her. I wanted her to love me, to want me as much as I wanted her.

"Daniel," she whimpered.

"Daddy. Call me Daddy, my good little girl," I cooed, letting my tongue dart out and graze along her earlobe.

"Daddy," she breathed as I pulled her tighter against me. "Why does it hurt?"

"Your soul is craving mine, love. It wants to complete the bond, but I know you're not ready yet. For now, let me ease the ache," I said, letting my hands glide over her skin and pulling her close.

Our tongues battled for dominance for a few moments before I pushed her back against the seat and slid to the floor. I quickly pushed up her dress, removing her panties, and then diving my tongue into her warmth. She screamed out, her hands quickly tangling in my hair as she found her release in seconds. "More, please, Daddy, I need more," she begged, her hips still moving.

I hummed, then pushed into her mind, filling it with images of us making love. I slid my fingers inside of her, watching her face contort with ecstasy. Let go, sweet girl, and cum for Daddy - I whispered in her mind. Her entire body arched off the seat as she convulsed, her juices flooding from her core. I quickly descended on her warmth, lapping every last precious drop up. She was panting as I pulled her dress down, but not returning her panties. "Such a good girl," I praised her.

"Daddy," she whimpered. I felt the bond tugging and blooming by the second.

"Shh, baby, rest for a bit, then we will get dinner." She nodded, yawning slightly and snuggling into my chest.

I had the driver make a few extra laps before arriving at the club. We pulled up to the back and I gently roused her. "We're here, my love," I breathed against her ear. She made soft noises as she yawned and stretched out her arms.

"I'm sorry I fell asleep, Daddy," she whispered with a blush.

Hearing her speak that way, unprovoked, made my cock throb even harder. I had no idea how deep Garen's compulsion had sunk into her, and even though I wanted to take her right now, I wouldn't. I wanted her to be fully aware so she could give me her consent freely. "It's okay, baby. Let's get inside and eat before I take you out on the dance floor." Her grin lit up her face as she nodded eagerly.

I led her down the short hall to our private dining area. Without a completed bond, it would be far too risky to be around other males. My protectiveness would put her at risk. We were seated quickly and the waitress brought out wine with our appetizers. Serenity hummed to herself as she sipped the wine. "Tell me about yourself, please," she asked. "I want to know more than you're an old vampire."

I gave her a mock look of horror, placing my hand on my chest as she giggled. "Well, now that we've established I'm old in your eyes, I guess I can tell you a bit about myself. I was raised in a rather strict household in a small province of Japan. I admit I have always had a life of privilege. My brothers and I were trained at a young age to take over the, um, family business. Affection wasn't normal in my family."

She frowned, her hand reaching out to mine, "I'm so sorry, Daniel. No child should grow up without affection." I just stared at her hand for a few moments until she continued, "So, um, were you born a vampire or turned?"

My eyes snapped up to hers, a look of discomfort spreading across my face. Thankfully, the waitress interrupted as she placed our meals on the table. I twirled a fork of pasta before she could and lifted it to her lips. She gave me a shy smile, then opened her mouth to accept the bite. My beast purred with contentment as we fed our Eternal. He wanted us to protect and please her. We finished our meal with only small talk then I led her to the ballroom floor. My hands stayed firmly on her waist as I pressed her against me. The low tones of the music felt entrancing as the rest of the world fell away.

My lips grazed along her neck and she sighed, "Why did you dance with me that night at the club? Did you know then?"

I tilted her chin up, "No. I knew I felt a pull to you, but it wasn't until I kissed you in my office that I fully realized and understood what you meant to me."

"So is it just the pull of me being your Eternal that attracts us to each other? Is it even real?" I saw the tears in her eyes and noticed all traces of Garen's compulsion seemed to be gone.

Taking her hand in mine, I led her back to our table but stopped at the edge. My hands cupped her face as mine came closer. Our lips were millimeters apart as I spoke. "Serenity, I was attracted to you from the moment you stood before the building, fighting with your fears. Everything about you is alluring to me - your mind,  voice,  soul, and body - everything. The bond only makes that stronger, it can't make us love each other."

"Love," she whispered, her eyes closing softly as our lips collided at last.
