Chapter 25
Serenity
I shuffled to the edge of the bed trying not to wake Daniel. Garen was already up and out of the room. "Where are you going little one?" he grumbled, pulling me back against his chest.
"Um, the bathroom, I think," I squeaked.
He raised an eyebrow "You think?"
My cheeks burned, "Well, uh...I'm sore, but I need to pee."
His eyes softened, "Oh baby, I'm sorry. I should have been more gentle. Here, let me help." He quickly stood in all his naked glory and lifted me bridal style delivering me to the bathroom. He set me down on the toilet and stepped through the small doorway. I heard him begin the bathwater as I finished my business. I gripped the edge of the countertop wincing a bit. A small gasp escaped my lips as I saw my reflection. They'd left hickeys all over me! Damn, cavemen...
"Personally, I like them," Garen grinned, sticking his head in the doorway.
"Wait, did you...how did you know what I was thinking?" I sputtered.
He came behind me, helping me stand more securely, and looked at me in the mirror. "Close your eyes and listen, beautiful. Let yourself feel the bond."
I did as he asked, letting my body relax and my mind wander. It felt like a soft brush of something nudging at my mind, then when I focused on it, a tidal wave of love crashed into me. I felt them - both of them! My eyes snapped open, tears freely flowing as I gasped, "How?"
"You accepted us love," Daniel whispered as he looked at us. "Last night was the first step in fully completing our bonds. When you gave yourself to us, you allowed the bond to form and connect us." He ran a gentle finger over my cheek. "Now, let's get you in the tub to soak."
I giggled, "You just want me to feel better so Garen can have a turn to make my legs useless."
"Perhaps," Garen answered making all of us laugh.

It took most of the day for me to regain any real ability to walk without wincing. Daniel apologized profusely, but when he thought I wasn't looking, he strutted around like a damn proud peacock. For the next few days, they were practically glued to my side, but on the rare occasion we weren't in the same room, it was odd feeling their emotions. It was early on Monday morning when I finally approached them about my old firm.
"So when are we going to Caffrey & Dahl?"
"You aren't," Garen snapped.
"I thought we had cleared all of this up already," I growled. "You can't keep me in a glass cage!"
"You are not in a cage, Ren. We just don't know what we're walking into," Daniel pleaded. "The thought of you getting hurt again, or taken..." I felt his fear and walked closer putting my arms around him as I snuggled into his chest.
"I'm safer with the two of you," I said quietly. "Please, I need to see this through."
They exchanged a look then Daniel spoke again, "You do not leave our sight, not even for the restroom."
"Let us do the talking," Garen added, "and don't interrupt."
"Okay Mr. Bossypants," I snorted.
"I don't mean it like that, Serenity. If we feel they aren't being honest, Daniel and I might be forced to compel them to get our answers." He explained.
"Oh," I breathed. I guess I hadn't considered that. We finished our breakfast in relative silence thi and then got ready for the meeting.
The car ride was tense, with our nerves raw as we pulled into the parking lot. "So, um, I guess I should have asked earlier, but are we still a secret?" I asked nervously. Daniel stepped out, holding his hand out to me. When I took it he practically pulled me off my feet planting a huge kiss on my lips. Next, Garen was standing behind me and spun me around, also kissing me. I giggled, "Woah, I guess that answers that question."
They each took a hand and we headed into the lion's den to find our answers. The looks on the faces of everyone we passed spoke volumes and the roar of whispers flew quickly. "Miss Matthews, um did you have another meeting?" the receptionist blabbered as we stood before her.
"No she didn't, but we all need to see the partners immediately," Daniel spoke quietly, but the power in his words made everyone, even me, flinch. I felt him squeeze my hand and a slight emotion of apology pushed into me. Damn if this was just a taste of his true power...
The woman quickly pressed buttons on her phone and within seconds, doors opened and we were ushered into the same boardroom I'd visited twice before. A shiver ran down my spine as I instinctually looked toward the far door where Drake had entered, half expecting him to again waltz into the room. This time it was Garen who squeezed my hand in reassurance as we sat down. "Gentlemen, Miss Matthews, was there a meeting we forgot," Mr. Dahl asked, his nasal voice trembling slightly, betraying his discomfort.
"Where is your other associate," Garen prodded," the one who stepped in last time, Drake wasn't it?" Both men paled. I felt a curl of dread form at the base of my spine. It snaked higher and higher as Daniel and Garen began to press for answers.
You shouldn't be here...shouldn't be with their kind.
My head snapped up, eyes darting around the room to see where the words had come from. My heart was racing and I clenched their hands as it spoke again.
Abomination. Bringer of Death. You betray us all.
"Serenity!" Daniel's voice boomed and I blinked rapidly, meeting his gaze. He was on his knees before me along with Garen. It took a few moments to realize we were no longer in the boardroom, but instead a much smaller office that smelled of cypress.
"Wh...what happened?" I finally asked.
"We were about to ask you the same thing," Garen breathed, his hands shaking slightly. "One minute you're watching your former bosses panic, the next your eyes rolled back in your head and you started speaking in a language I've never heard."
"I did what?" I gaped. "I...I don't remember talking at all, just listening. It said such horrible things to me, but I couldn't see it. Wait, where are we?"
"My home," Garen answered simply, "Now what do you mean it said things - who?"
I shook my head slightly, "I don't know. It started just after you mentioned Drake's name. I couldn't even tell if it was a man or a woman, but it didn't want me with either of you. It said I was a betrayer of my kind, an abomination," I sniffled back a sob as I finished, "a bringer of death."
They pulled me into a three-way hug as they comforted me. "You are none of those things, our love," Daniel whispered, soft kisses covering my face.
I let out a ragged breath, pulling back slightly. "Did you find out anything before I had my meltdown?"
"Well, I didn't think so, but now, I'm wondering if the attack on you wasn't a security measure of sorts. Once you collapsed, we immediately left. Maybe, just maybe..." he mused. "Garen, did you get anything?"
"Lots of walls," he grunted, pulling himself upright as Daniel helped me stand. "They're dealing with magic stronger than I've seen before. Not even your mother or father had this kind of craft. It was familiar but then again, not."
I sighed, "Okay, I think I need a crash course on all things magical, my loves. If I'm going to have a target on my back, then I want to be fully prepared for anything." They both stared at me in shock. "What, I can have a breakdown then pull my shit back together you know. I have managed to survive on my little human own for quite a while now." I huffed.
They exchanged side glances, "I like feisty Serenity," Daniel growled.
"Sexy as fuck," Garen agreed making me roll my eyes, then squeal when he threw me over his shoulder.
"Put me down, you caveman!" I shouted as he raced up the stairs with a grinning Daniel following us. In moments, I was bounced onto a king-size bed, with an "Oof, that wasn't what I meant." Two pairs of blackened eyes stared down at me. Heat pooled in my core as I watched them strip. When I started to remove my own, they growled and my hands were quickly restrained.

"Be a good little girl and lay still, my Eternal," Garen's voice rasped. My breath hitched as I felt Daniel's claws ghost along my skin, shredding the fabric of my suit in seconds. The tattered remains were quickly pulled from my body as they began to cover my skin in kisses. When Garen's fangs grazed my clit, I cried out, hips bucking.
Daniel chuckled in my ear, "So sensitive, love. How many orgasms do you think you can handle, Ren?"
My eyes snapped to his in confusion as I stammered, "Th...three." The wicked grin on his face had my insides doing flips.
"Oh, I think you can do better than that, love," he taunted. Then it hit me - overstimulation. It was one of the things I'd read in that smut book Susan had given me. He chuckled as he saw the realization set in. "Now, be a good girl and cum for Garen," he purred as Garen thrust his tongue into my core, licking me roughly. When he pinched my clit, I cried out, thrashing against Daniel's grip and Garen's arms that held me pinned to the mattress.
Before I could catch my breath, Garen had my legs wrapped around my waist as he pressed inside of me. I hissed at the pain, his cock stretching me wide. "Oh gods, baby," he groaned, "so fucking tight."
"We're going to absolutely ruin you, our Queen," Daniel growled, gently biting at my nipples. Garen maintained steady deep thrusts as Daniel explored my body with his mouth. I felt myself falling over the edge again and again until I was crying and babbling incoherently.
"Six, love," Garen growled. "Give me one more, baby. Cum with me," he grunted, flipping me onto my hands and knees until I was met with Daniel's cock bobbing before my face. His hands gripped my hair as I opened, taking him deep. I was completely at their mercy and I loved it. The room sounded with my whimpers and their growls as I surrendered everything to them. My orgasm shook me so hard that I barely heard them calling out my name as they filled me.
My chest felt so warm, I felt loved and safe as their hands gently cleaned me and one of them carried me to the bathroom to pee. Then warm blankets and strong arms wrapped around me as I slipped into sleep.
Author's Notes: I don't know about you, my lovelies, but I needed some damn smut! Oh, and I guess you'll have to keep guessing about the "voice".
