Naira sat in the car with Kartik hesitatingly , she was in the backseat with the other lady and the girl , while Kartik and the lady sat in the front.

" What's your name sweety?" Serena asked

" Aisha Cooper" Naira said

Serena nodded and talked about a few things which Naira listened carefully.

The car turned into a huge elegant mansion , Naira was not surprised , she was used to it but still she faked it.

" That's a huge building" Naira said with a fake smile.

The car stopped near a large fountain and everyone got down. Naira followed others into the building , she was very nervous , she was noticing many things.

Kartik called someone and immediately an elder man came , he was wearing a uniform like of a Butler.

" Let me see your hand beautiful" The man said

Kartik put his hands in his pockets and looked away trying to control his growing desire to beat up this man into a pulp.

The man examined her hand and then bandaged it and gave her some medicines

" Thanks" Naira mumbled

The man smiled but his smile immediately vanished when he saw Kartik angry and walked away

" I think , I shall be going , thanks for your help " Naira said and immediately started to go outside before anyone could say anything.

She came out and breathed heavily , anxiety at her top level.

Evening

Naira messaged her father about this , she thought he would be happy but he was angry that she let go off this wonderful opportunity to enter his life .

Peter is very serious about this mission , he is always serious about his work. So he told Naira to go to party which is being organized by one of the richest man , no one will notice as there will be many people.

Naira agreed

Next Night

Naira's Outfit

She went to the back door and then entered the grand hall , there were people wearing tuxedos and costly dresses and were enjoying themselves.

She looked around the huge hall to find Kartik but she couldn't see him. So he walked in the centre of the hall that's when someone lightly tapped her on the shoulder. She turned around and saw the same person who tried to touch near the elevator that day

" Didn't you learned your lesson?" Naira asked folding her hands near her chest

" No , I just want apologize , I wasn't even trying to touch you , I was just trying to scare you" He said

Naira glared him and he just looked here and there nervously

Suddenly another person interrupted them.

" You were with him? Right? That day? " Naira said while tapping her foot furiously

" Yes miss , I was , and I can assure he didn't mean to do anything" he said

Naira realized that she has to find Kartik so she tried to end the conversation

" Fine" that's all Naira said

Naira was about to turn to go but one of them asked her name , so she stopped to reply them but then heard a familiar voice

" Aisha Cooper" the familiar voice said

Naira turned around to see Kartik with the two men

" Hello Aisha , good to see you here" Kartik said

" So unfortunate to see you here" Naira said , she just can't help her tongue

Kartik was surprised.

" I see , you're the one who destroyed my friend's face" Kartik said

" So??" Naira said

" It's all fine now , btw I'm James" James said forwarding his hand which Naira took and then shakes hands.

" And I'm Issac" Issac also forwarded his handed and they shaked

" Ok enough with handshakes!!" Kartik said

" What's your problem with handshakes " Naira said

Issac tried to control his smile

" So Aisha , tell us where are you from?" Issac asked.

" I'm from the North side of this country , I'm just here as a tourist" Naira said shrugging her shoulders

Some slow music started

" Would you like to dance?" James asked

" Why not" Naira said and took his hand and proceeded to the dance floor

They danced for a while , James and Naira were looking perfect

" You know , you dance so we'll" James said

A blush appeared on Naira's face. She somehow murmured a thanks . Suddenly Kartik came

" Can I dance now with Aisha" Kartik said with a warning look

" She's all yours brother" James said and left

And then Kartik held Naira's waist , pulling her a little closer and they both swayed to the music , their faces were very close and Naira was enjoying this dance , it was nothing if compared to James's.

Kartik cracked a joke and Naira laughed throwing her head back which was like bliss for Kartik to see Aisha laughing

Suddenly some gunshots were heard and everyone ducked down , Kartik dragged Naira near a table and they his behind the table.

" Don't get up , until James , Issac or me comes to get you" Kartik said hurriedly and then took out a gun from his pocket and stood up and started shooting and going somewhere else

Naira was terrified , she had no protection , she looked here and there but there was nothing , she only heard gunshots . After a minute or two Issac came and sat beside her and gave her a gun

" We'll run on the count of three , got it?" Issac asked

Naira nodded

And then they ran to the back door , not looking here and there , when they came out , she saw James a little far away shooting someone and Kartik in the middle busy.

" I think , we are clear , let's go" James shouted.

And Kartik , Issac and Naira ran behind James a little far away.

While Naira was running , she noticed a man behind the cartons aiming his gun to Kartik , With a reflex Naira lifter her gun while running and shooted him , after all she's trained. Everyone stopped except Naira

They looked behind , but Naira collided with Issac

" Are you fine" Issac asked

" I'm fine , why did we stop?" Naira asked while breathing heavily

James and Kartik went to the body and started whispering

Then Kartik came to Naira and held her tightly from her shoulders

" You shooted him?" Kartik asked

" Y-yes" Naira stuttered

" That was unbelievable" James said from behind

" But why?" Kartik asked again looking directly in her eyes

" He was going to kill you that's why" Naira said

Naira suddenly felt dizziness , Kartik held her more tightly but then picked her up in a bridal style and Naira passed in his hands
