Cana Pov

The bright light of the full moon shone down on us as we made our way on the road from the job request. "Geez you two really are adamant on not getting into a carriage." I stated frowning and Irene crossed her arms defensively. "I've told you we are not getting into a carriage any time soon. You'd have to knock me down for it to happen." She replied keeping her stern gaze. "Yeah I'll never set foot into them ever again, it wont be good if I do." Y/n stated and I just sighed in defeat. "I really wonder how Lucy does it with Natsu and Wendy, it has to be tiring." I shook my head placing a hand on it.

"Oh come on Cana isn't it more enjoyable like this, at least we can all talk instead of just the two of us." Gildarts stated and Rose flew right between him and Irene. "I'm certain it is in our best interest as a team to be at all times able to express our concerns and plans for future jobs and adventures." She stated and Bill flew out from my grasp. "Yup nothing is worse then a team that can't talk to each other when half of it is down for the count due to motion sickness Better hope we wont be fighting on a boat." Bills snickered making Irene glare at her.

"Uh just thinking of ridding a boat makes me hurl." Irene huffed and placed a hand on her mouth. Gildarts laughed lightly on seeing her like that. 

I suddenly got an idea. "Hey guys why don't we go to the nearby Hotsprings in the nearby town instead of staying at a hotel, its early enough anyway." I stated and pointed a finger up.

Irene stopped dead in her tracks. "Cana!" She stated coldly and menacingly. Making me flinch and eek out. She clapped her hands together smiling at us. "I think that's a great idea we all can use a bath, especially you two." Irene stated and motioned to Gildarts and Y/n. "What's wrong with us?!" Gildarts replied baffled with his face in shock. "I have no idea how you manage it but after a fight I can always smell your sweat." She stated and rubbed her arm. "Its distracting me somehow." She added leaving Gildarts surprised.

"Oh I get it, its just because you have a very sensitive nose." Gildarts replied rolling his eyes and Y/n looked a little offended but shrugged it off.

"What are we waiting for then, lets hurry." I stated happily.

The smell of damp wood caught my nose and I inhaled deeply the nightly fresh air, I stretched my arms up and smiled. "Someone is in a good mood." Irene stated while walking out from the changing room stretching as well with her white towel around her body and I smiled happily. "Of course I am. A hotspring is always nice." I stated and she laughed softly into her hand while Rose and Bill came out too from the room. "Do you have any idea where Y/n and Gildarts are?" I asked and she had a smug smile on her face. I did not like it one bit. "Oh do you miss Y/n already, I'm certain young love cannot wait." She mocked and I felt my face burn red. "That's not what I meant." I yelled and she shrugged. "Sure sure." She rolled her eyes. "Are you two done with the bickering, the hotsprings are waiting." Bill exclaimed flying up to our eye level.

We reached the hotspring and Irene took her towel of right before getting with her feet in the water and immediately got to the side for me to sit as well. I hummed happily and she did too. "My this feels amazing." She exclaimed and I could only nod.  

I raised my arms to protect myself from Bill and Rose splashing water around while I kept my face on Irene.

She turned around leaning on the edge of the Onsen with her arms crossed looking up into the night sky. "Do you think someone like me can find love." She asked and I raised an eyebrow looking at her. I thought for a moment and tapped with my finger on my chin. "Sure why not, I'm sure even someone like you can find love, even if its hard. I stated and she smiled happily. "No mater what will happen now in my life, we will grow stronger as a team during our journey." She replied and I saw a small tear roll down on her face from being happy. "I wonder if the grand magic games will be held again. It would be a shame not to participate with me and Y/n now in the guild don't you agree Cana?" She asked and turned around again sliding down until the water was just under her collarbones.

I leaned back on the Onsen and stretched my arms up. "As long as there's a bar with beer, a good bed and friends, I don't care how many times we are in the grand magic games as long as its fun." I replied and she could only laugh in amusement. "True that, no one can win against you in a drinking match, I know that too well." She replied and I grinned at her. "Are you still not over the loss of your underwear and having the rest of the day without it under your skirt?" I stated and she blew out some air ignoring me and crossing her arms. "Uh seems like I struck a nerve." I added with a slight grin. 

"What's wrong?" I asked as she kept staring into one direction of the Onsen to the other side from us.

I let out a surprised shriek. "What are you two doing here!?" I yelled in shock pointing at Gildarts and Y/n who both gave us blank stares. "As a mater of fact we were here before you two." Y/n exclaimed coldly and Gildarts stared at Irene silently. "You had quite a bit to talk about." He stated and I could see Irene's cheeks almost burn red.

I heard Irene chuckle gently. "My, my this takes me back Gildarts. Back in the old days people used to bath together before it slowly disappeared and now its coming back again." She said and moved over to Gildarts. She gazed at me smiling softly. "Come on Cana we aren't just comrades but family and should also bath together." She exclaimed and sat down near my father. "I have no idea what kind of culture you grew up with but we never bathed together, only Natsu, Gray and Erza have that weird thing." I exclaimed and all of a sudden Irene shot up from the water standing right in front of Gildarts walking up to me with just two quick steps grabbing my arm and pulling me with her throwing me right in front of Y/n. "Sit down and enjoy bathing before we wash each others back!" She growled and I was left in shock staring at Y/n who was looking right at me.

To say I was a blushing mess was taking it lightly. I didn't know what to do right now before I felt Y/n's hand right on my wrist pulling me slowly to his side. "Just close your eyes Cana and enjoy it like I do." He spoke silently and I made a quick nod.

I observed Bill and Rose floating in front of me in the water staring up into the sky. "I thought cats hate water." I stated and Bill turned her head to me. "Its not that we hate it, its just not pleasant when its cold water." She stated and I 

I played around nervously with my fingers not knowing what to do while looking down in the water. "What did you do before you got to our guild Y/n?" I asked in wonder not facing him directly.

"I lived with my adoptive parents in their home. A small village with lots of farmers, it was a village completely capable on sustaining itself without outside help." He stated and let out a sigh crossing his arms. "I'd like to visit them someday again, its been over a month since I saw them."

Gildarts and Irene stood up walking out of the onsen and he sat down on a stone slab with Irene grabbing a sponge. "Cana, Y/n you soaked long enough in the water, its time for the sponge." She stated twirling it between her fingers. 

A blush creeped over my face and I hid half my face in the water. "Cana come on don't be silly." My father scoffed and I sighed before almost choking from the water getting into my mouth. "Fine." I said and stood up with Y/n right beside me. I covered up and he did too.

Getting out of it Irene stopped me. "Its tradition that the man gets cleaned first by the women." She exclaimed motioning for Y/n to sit down.

I bit my lip nervously as I was about to touch his naked body with my bare hands. My hands were shaking lightly and I felt Irene's smug grin right on me. 

I placed the sponge right on his neck and began to go up and down slowly. "Am I doing this right Y/n?" I asked him shyly and he nodded. "Yes you are doing it nice and gentle." He stated and I heard Irene giggle amused.

Gildarts and Irene switched places with Gildarts starting to wash Irene's back. "Oh my Gildarts you are quite good on this." She exclaimed breathily and I looked at her wide eyed. I was a little taken aback by Y/n standing up all of a sudden. "Cana its your turn now." He stated and pointed for me the sit down.

I hesitated for a moment looking up to him. I handed him the sponge without saying anything as my heart was racing like crazy sitting down. I felt him press it on my back gently. "Tell me if I'm too rough." He spoke silently making me shiver at that slight husky undertone. "O-ok." I stammered out placing my hands on my knees. 

He started to go left and right to my shoulders slowly going downwards. I peered over to Irene who smiled gleeful. "Are you enjoying it Cana?" She asked in wonder raising an eyebrow.

"I do it feels quite amazing." I stated and she giggled again. "That's because he is doing it isn't." Bill blurted out and I felt my cheeks flush. "Shut it cat! It has nothing to do with that." I shot back glaring at her.

I thought back to what Irene had said earlier. "How common was it to bath together in your time Irene." I asked her and she looked over her shoulder to me. "Very common actually. When I was the princess of Dragnof I used to come with my parents the former king and queen to the public Onsen bath quite often. It wasn't that we didn't have our own hotspring right at the base of the palace. We shared a rather close tie with the citizens coming to the open air Onsen right at the base of the mountain. Which often led for my father to talk with citizens about stuff they wish could be better." Irene replied and something clicked in my head. "Is that the reason why Erza baths with Natsu and Gray since your culture had that?" I asked and I could see the shock in Irene's face. "I never thought about that." She replied surprised.

Irene stood up draping her towel around her body. "Gildarts, could we go on a small walk?" She asked and my father hesitated for a moment before he nodded. "Sure but we should change into the bathrobes they gave us." He stated and Irene nodded. "Of course." She stated happily.

I felt Y/n move away with the sponge. I was a upset that it was over. I quickly got my towel around me and turned to Y/n who gave me a pleased smile. "Did the hot springs help you to relax?" He asked and I mused a bit. "Yes it did, you should really try and get them more, our guild has its own Onsen as well, it is separated by gender though as Makarov doesn't want unwanted trouble." I stated and I saw Y/n smirk. "Hey no peeping, I know what you boys think you perverts!" I yelled and he raised his hand. "I would never do something like that." He replied and I rolled my eyes.

"You better not, last time someone did it Irene blew a hole right where one guy was peeping on us and I swear if we didn't stop her, Natsu would have had his wiener cut off, sine she thought Natsu did it." I stated and Y/n shuddered. "Whoa didn't know Irene was that crazy." Bill said and I laughed.

Y/n turned to me again. "Is there any chance Erza is as crazy as Irene?" He asked and I tapped a pointer finger on my chin. "I wouldn't say she'd do the same. Irene is more sadistic, she'd break a persons bone for little reason if she's mad. Erza on the other hand is more of she had no dignity until Jellal came into her life. Now she has reworked most of her armors to cover up all of the revealing spots." I stated and then frowned lightly. "Do you care more about her then me." I hissed at him.  

He shook his head and stayed silent. "Why would I? She's taken by a man. I was just curious if behavior can be given to children." He replied walking to our room. I let out a sigh and kept my eyes on him while he got into our room for the night. "What's wrong with me.?" I mumbled in confusion looking down.

Irene Pov

I leaned over the railing of a small bridge looking down into the flowing water. "You ever thought of making a family again." Gildarts asked and I abruptly shot back from the railing in shock staring at him. It took me a moment to be able to talk. "What kind of question is that?" I replied taken aback clutching a hand to my chest. He gave me a calm look. "I was just curious, we both are parents and missed our children growing up, you more then me since I did see Cana grow up over the years in the guild." He stated and touched my shoulder. "So if given the chance would you do it." He asked giving me a serious look.

I turned away from him for a moment. "I don't know Gildarts, my first time being a mother wasn't really great and I could have some unknown PTSD from the time I had Erza. I could turn into a complete mess who wouldn't allow anyone close to me or my child as I could have trust issues and mental problems. So given the chance I would need to be sure the person wouldn't leave me or hurt me emotionally." I stated and took a deep breath to calm down. "Why did you ask me that." I added and He shrugged. "I didn't like the silence and we both are adults so we should be able to talk freely about each other don't you think?" He stated and crossed his arms.

I placed one hand on the railing and turned to him. "Yeah maybe you are right, being open to each other may help me to overcome some of my problems that I have." I replied and he gave me a fond smile. "Everyone in Fairy Tail will help you Irene, people who have no place to stay can come to it and people who want a family as well." He replied and I playfully pushed his arm. "I know Gildarts." I stated happily.

3rd person Pov

A terrifying sight spread in front of Y/n, something more horrible then any monster. A drunk girl. "Come on Y/n lets have some fun please." A heavily drunken Cana begged and she leaned over him as Y/n was pressed against the ground with no way of escape. Her robe loosened giving him even more of a view from her round bosom. "Cana you are drunk come on, stop it." Y/n stated and she pinned him down with her hands on his shoulders. 

He gazed over to Bill who was flat on the ground drunk since she too drank a bit of the booze. He knew ordering Sake was not a good idea but didn't think much of it. 4 bottles later and they still have some left untouched with a half empty one right next to Cana taking a sip from it. "Gods why was this happening to me." He whined. Irene and her father could be coming back any moment and he don't want to be caught pants down with her.

She leaned down to him pressing her boobs right on his chest. "Come on purr Y/n I want you to purr like Bill can." She exclaimed and began to rub his chin. Y/n was dead inside from embarrassment. At least Irene and Gildarts aren't here. 

The shuffling of a door made him look up. "What the hell are you two doing?" Both yelled and Y/n paled. "Irene, Gildarts its not what you think!" He yelled and Cana looked over at them. "Come on guys lets drink the night is still young." She said and moved off me falling to the side. "Thank god, for you guys." He sighed in relief sitting up.

Both gave him cold glares. "What happened while we were gone." Gildarts asked and Irene walked over to the Sake bottles looking at them. 

Y/n slouched down while Gildarts knelt in front of him. He gave him a concerned look placing a hand on his shoulder. "We just ordered some drinks, I told Cana she can take what she wants. Looking back it was a mistake." He replied and Gildarts chuckled. "There is a first time for everything and no harm done right." He stated and pat his shoulder.

"Hey you two." A slightly angry voice slurred and both turned to see Irene with an empty bottle of Sake in her right hand. She threw the bottle at Gildarts who got hit right on the head before he could even see what happened. He groaned from the pain sitting up rubbing his head. "What's up with you." He replied and was looking straight at her with his mouth agape. "Why do you keep ignoring me Gildarts, am I not pretty enough for you." She whined throwing her hand up before dropping to her knees tears appearing on her face. "I'm the only girl in the guild who doesn't have a boyfriend, even Cana has one now." She exclaimed pointing to them.

Gildarts and Y/n jolted up. "Hey wait a moment what's happening here?" Both yelled and Irene stood up. She looked at Gildarts slowly smiling with a few feet between them. She jumped at him throwing her arms onto him. "Come on Gildarts I want to have some fun." She slurred and made him fall down. Gildarts tried to push her of him. "Hey let go, your grip hurts." He yelled and Y/n laughed lightly before a tug on his arm made him look down. 

He was pulled to the ground and Cana pushed a bottle of Sake to his lips making him forcefully drink it. He grabbed the bottle pulling it away. "What are you doing Cana?" He stated and she pouted. "I thought giving you a drink will make you like me more." She replied shyly and then looked to the door. She grabbed the hem of her robe looking up to him. "Y/n, I need to go to the bathroom." She whispered and Y/n gave her a shocked look. "Can't you go on your own." He shot back and she shook her head. "N-no, I want you to bring me there." She replied slowly and went with her arms around his back. "What am I getting myself into." He muttered standing up cursing and headed for the door. Irene gazed at the two for a moment as he ran for the exit. "Yes Cana, come on get your man." Irene yelled happily. "What the hell are you doing Irene." Gildarts stated and she laughed drunkenly. A moment of silence was between them and she went with her hand up to his cheek trailing with her hand along his jaw. "I love you Gildarts." She slurred and clung onto him rubbing her head on his chest. 

GIldarts clenched his hand trying not to freak out seeing Irene act all cute. He had to do something or else it could be worse. He grabbed her shoulders and pushed her off him making her sit on the ground in front of him. Her robe got lose and the shoulders were free almost letting the robe fall of them. "Irene stop acting like this." He stated as he never had dealt with a drunken Irene before, she usually preferred beer or wine to the stronger stuff as she didn't like the taste of the hard liquor.

He gazed into her eyes that began to form tears. One of her red bangs fell between her eyes and she moved it away with her hand. A sob escaped her lips and he stared in shock at her as she began to cry. "I-I just want to be close to you Gildarts-sama." She cried out and wiped her tears away. 

Gildarts sighed and looked down to the ground. "Geez you can be such a pain sometimes." He stated and then a small smile spread on his lips as he pulled her into his arms hugging her gently. "Calm down ok, you are with me." He whispered and she pressed her head tightly against his chest with her hand resting right on his shoulder she made a small nod. "I'll always stay with you." She replied closing her eyes and enjoyed the safe hold.

On the entrance of the room was no one else then Rose who had witnessed all of this. "Utter chaos." She muttered walking inside before being surprised by Bill making a hug attack. Rose let out a hiss and jumped up. "Let go of me you idiot." She yelled and Bill laughed. "Come on lets play." She replied and a grumble came from Rose.

Somewhere near the toilets an exhausted Y/n was leaning silently next to a wall taking a breath. "Just tell me when you are done ok, you have to do it on your own." He stated and a laugh was heard from behind a door. "Sure." She said and Y/n slouched down on the ground.

A/n: Here you go a chapter with them going to the Onsen. I think Irene would be an emotional drunk like Juvia and Cana could be a clingy one like Lucy when she had way too much to drink to not control herself anymore.
