Damian now on his own thought to himself, "I know I want be accepted back, but I can try...", he then looked at his old village, a couple miles away. He could see it from the hill he was standing on. He slowly made his way down and towards the village and came to the gate.

"Who goes there?", a guard shouted from one of the 2 towers next to the gate

"A humble traveler coming through town", Damian responded

"Where are you from?", The guard asked

"I am from the mountains, my teacher has died and I had nowhere else to go, so I came here for a short stay", Damian told the guard

"Ah, let me ask the head guard", the guard said reluctantly

Damian thought to himself, "They don't like new people I see"

The guard came back and said down, "We will allow you into the city, welcome traveler"

The gates to the city slowly opened and Damian then noticed how booming the town was

"They don't like new people, yet they're thriving here..."

Damian walked through town as faces passed by, he had never seen so many people. While he was waking through town a man bumped into him.

"Watch where you're going idiot!", the man shouted

"I'm sorry", Damian had responded

The man had tried to steak from Damian, but he had blocked it since he knew to be careful, but Damian did not want to make a scene as it might blow his cover. He kept walking on until he found a food stand and decided to buy some food, the old man had left him some money so he gave the man one golf piece and the man inspected it.

"This is a rather strange gold piece...", the man responded, "Haven't seen one of these since they changed what they looked like, how'd you get it?", the man questioned.

"My old man gave it to me, he died recently and left it for me", Damian said nervously expecting the man to reject it.

"Oh, I'm sorry for your loss, I'm sure I can get the coin reshaped no so hardly, grab any apple you like"

Damian sighed in relief, he took the apple he found to be just right and left, taking a bite and walking off. He was happy he hadn't blown his cover yet, and hoped he wouldn't, but what he saw next would change everything...
