The boy checked around the room once again and went towards one of the books on the table nearby. In the pile of books. One of the books were opened revealing a button inside.

Chibi: This...is a switch! How come I didn't noticed that?!

Chibi pressed the button and he heard something moved behind him. He turned his head to see a shelf move on it's own...

The shelf below revealed a trapdoor.

Downstairs was a padlock on the side of a steel door.

Chibi: Password Protected...So how do I...

Chibi stopped and looked at the  picture...

Chibi shrugged...It was worth a try.

He puts in the code number and watched at the door opened up...

He went inside to see a empty room with nothing more but a light bulb illuminating the room and one book on a small table.

Chibi: This book...

Chibi examined it to find out the local history of Fudo High School...

It also had records of students from long ago.

He turned some pages but stop to see the photos of students back in the 1950s during one of the victorian times.

He saw one boy and one girl he definitely recognized and read their names.

Chibi: No way...I don't believe it...Is this true...

I don't believe it...

Kiyoshi Mirai?!

Misaki Aishiteru...?!

Does this mean...that Kiyoshi and this Misaki girl are related to Kuro and Mei...

Now I'm really curious...

Didn't Kiyoshi died a couple of minutes ago...

But he's a student at the old Fudo High School years ago...

About fifty to sixty years ago...

He would either be an old man or dead around this time...

Before I could read any further...I saw...

I had the sudden urge to follow it...

I followed it all the way back upstairs to the library floor and saw not one but more blue butterflies scattering around Kiyoshi's body like moths drawn to a flame.

They flower all around him until a bright light came as I closed my eyes waiting for it to extinguish.

When the darkness return...

I saw a few butterflies still around Kiyoshi...

But he now no longer had blood all over him...

His mangled body was back into it's original form.

Then his only shown eye begin to open glancing up at me...



Me: K-Kiyoshi...

Kiyoshi:....I thought I would never wake up...I guess I've consider myself lucky this time...

Me:....

Kiyoshi:....

He sighs knowing full well I wanted answers out of him especially with what I saw...

-Chibi's Pov-

Chibi: W-What was that back there...With all the butterflies swarming your body...

Kiyoshi: ...I called that the butterfly effect...I use it to be able to regenerate my soul into this body when I'm attacked...

Chibi: So let me get this straight... You're dead...

Kiyoshi:...In a way...Yes I am...I been DEAD for a long time...

Chibi:....I guess I should have saw it coming...But I didn't...But...Who 'killed' you here in the library...? I don't get that...

Kiyoshi:....It was that Yuri girl...

Chibi: Y-Yuri did this?! B-But why?!

Kiyoshi: Remember when the cat that we thought was a spirit guide...

Chibi nodded.

Kiyoshi: Turns out my prediction about it is true...It was trying to protect me...from her...

Chibi:....What happened....

Kiyoshi: When I was in the library...She tried to ambush me...I fought her as hard I could...But she was surprisingly strong for a fragile girl. Turns out the other girl that was with her before she met us...The Dead body you found...Yuri killed her.

Chibi:....

Kiyoshi: When the curse happened...All of Yuri's sanity flew through the roof...She pretended to be an innocent girl that was lost, scared, and confused...but the cat saw through her deception and tried to warn us...but it needed Yuri to get away from us in order to do it...

Chibi: But...I don't understand...Why would the cat want to protect us...

Kiyoshi: That...I'm not sure about...Maybe it's because of my relation to Kuro or your friendship with him...

Chibi: But what does that have to do with anything...

Kiyoshi:...My guess is...That cat probably belonged to Kuro...before it was killed...
