A/N: What happened to the mouse?

Erika: KURO!!!

Erika can't believe she lost him in the dark hallways after they both heard Shouta scream.

The look on his face was nothing but pure horror.

She never thought he would make that expression from before.

Erika: Ugh...Where am I now? What am I going to do now?

She was lost...

Lost in this creepy school all by herself.

Maki is gone and so are the others.

She was alone...

Or so she thought...

A ghost appear in front of her a few spaces away.

Erika: Kyaaa?!

The ghost didn't moved or looked at Erika...it had it's back turned on Erika instead of facing her...

Erika thought it be best for her to run...

But she couldn't move.

Erika: (Why am I like this?! Why can't I move! Come on legs! Move!!!!)

....It was no use...

Was her body paralyzed?

It seems so...because it wasn't fear that was keeping her from moving...

It was something else.

Hehehehe.

Erika felt her heart dropped when she heard an giggle coming from the ghost.

Erika: H-Hey! Is this your doing?! What do you want from me...?

She received no answer much to her frustration. But she already know what's going on...

The moment she entered this hallway...

Her fate has been decided...

Now she can't run away!

The ghost finally turns her head and Erika got a good look at her face.

A face that spread nothing but pure terror.

Erika wanted to scream, cry, yell, and beg for help.

But it was no use...

The ghost stared at her for a long time before the blonde girl's vision begin to fade into darkness...

Before everything was black, Erika saw her vision the ghost reaching out to her with long sharp claws.

When her consciousness came too, she still saw darkness which made her freak out.

Erika: W-What's going on?!

She couldn't move either.

She felt like she was trapped in something...

Almost...like a box?

Erika: Help! I can't see! Is there anyone there?!

Then she heard a noise...

THUMP!

Erika: Kyaaa!

Something...or someone had dropped her into what seem like a ditch.

Erika groaned in pain of feeling her back hurt.

But that's not the end of her troubles.

Erika: W-What are you doing?! HELP! GET ME OUTTA HERE!

Erika felt something heavy coming onto the her prison. It was starting to make her hyperventilate like crazy.

She started to scream again and beg for help once more.

Erika: Help me! Please! Help! Someone! Maki-chan! Kuro! Somebody! ANYONE!!!!!

Her pleas were ignored...

Crying and screaming...lead to no mercy.

The sounds from outside continued and whatever was on her starting to suffocate her lungs.

Air....

There was no air?!

She couldn't breathe.

She couldn't think.

Sweat beamed down her face as she banged her hands onto her prison.

Her screams echoed through the trapped box.

She was in a position...

Where no one can hear her scream...

After a while of screaming, crying, and banging...

It went on for seconds then... minutes...close to hours...

They finally stopped...

???: Hehehehe~! To bad no one can find her now...They'll probably need a map...and a shovel. HAHAHAHAHAHA~!

*Meanwhile*

Kuro was now heading to the infirmary.

He wanted to see if Koutarou-Sensei was there.

Reason why because of his ailib with Mei's disappearance. To be frank, the doctor was acting a bit strange when he mentioned Mei after Kuro saved him from being trapped in that locker.

Kuro: (Koutarou-Sensei...What is your motives with her...)

When he got to the infirmary, he knocked on the door.

After a few seconds, Koutarou-Sensei slides the door open cautiously...but sighs in relief when he noticed it was him. There was also another person inside. Kuro recognized the blonde hair blue eyed delinquent.

Kuro: Yamada?!

The delinquent that runaway like hours ago was now in the infirmary sitting on one of the beds.

Yamada: Ha?! What?! Oh... It's you Kuro.

Kuro:.....Why?

Yamada: Why what?

Kuro: How could you abandoned Konami like that, you scumbag.

Yamada: I didn't have a choice.

Kuro: Bull-shit. You had a choice. Your choice led you to be a coward and leave Konami for dead. Because of you, she's now nothing more but body parts.

Ryosuke puts on a sheepish look and cast his eyes down on the ground... totally feeling ashamed.

Kuro: Why Yamada...Why did you leave her to die?

Yamada:....It's complicated man...

Kuro:.....

If Erika was still here...She would've called him a coward...an asshole and so many other names.

Kuro: I guess you're like everyone else. You only care about yourself.

Yamada: Tsk. It ain't just me! If Erika and Maki weren't acting like self-absored bitches to Mei! Then maybe she still would be alive!

Kuro grew more irritated by this. He could've swore Dr. Koutarou flinched at the mention of Mei...Maybe it was his imagination...he hoped.

Kuro: Then why you ditched her for Konami?

Yamada: Tch. Why do you care? You  also didn't help Mei beforehand?!! So why now?

Kuro sneered. How dare he? He was more than willing to help Mei. But everytime he tried

Kuro: I should say the same for you! Don't lump me with an asshole like you!

Yamada flinched at icy tone in his voice and was about to retort with his own comeback until Koutarou-Sensei spoke.

Koutarou: Will you both please just stop! If we want to be able to get out of here alive. We need to work together.

Kuro sighs when the arguing ceased. It was obviously getting them nowhere. Pointing fingers at each other of who had an hand at Mei's death was getting them nowhere either.

He looks back at Yamada before asking a question to the dumb delinquent.

Kuro: Alright. Yamada. What happend to you when you left and how did you get here?

Yamada:...After Konami's death...

He tried to avoid the death glare Kuro had gave.

Yamada: I was scared and didn't what to do so I decided to stay hidden somewhere. So I came here... Koutarou-Sensei was inside and he let me stay here.

Kuro: Alright...

"He's hiding something...He's not telling the full truth..."

"We can worry about that later..."

For now...

It was time to figure out what really happened to Mei...?

Who was with her on the day she vanished.

"I really don't believe rumors either but hey...some of our classmates believe the rumors were true because someone caught Mei with Koutarou-Sensei..."

Then he remembered what Shouta told him. Then remembered his talk with Chibi....

"Maybe he was angry about the rumors and that it could tarnished his reputation here as a doctor. When word got out.  He probably tried to play it cool. But even the other teachers were wondering about the relationship between him and Mei."

Kuro: Okay... Koutarou-Sensei...

The doctor turns to him with an questioning look.

Koutarou: Yes?

Kuro:....Is it true that Mei sees you often in the infirmary?

This question gets Yamada's attention as he also look at the infirmary doctor.

Koutarou: Umm...Yes...Why?

Kuro:...Where were you on the day she vanished?

Koutarou:...In here. Preparing medicine...

Kuro: What time did Mei see you before she vansihed.

Koutarou: Around...5:15 p.m.

Kuro: Afterschool....

Dr. Koutarou raised an eyebrow.

Koutarou: Why are you asking me all these questions?

Kuro: Because...if maybe possible you were the last one to see Mei alive. A little birdie told me that she comes see you afterschool.

Koutarou: Yes...She does...

Yamada: So why don't you tell us the truth?!

Koutarou: What truth?!

Kuro: Yamada...

Yamada ignored Kuro and continued berating Koutarou.

Yamada: Seriously! Did you and Mei had an affair with each other?!

Dr. Koutarou exploded in rage at the accusation.

Koutarou: WHAT?! NO! I would never do that to a young girl, especially with Mei!

Yamada: Then why does she see you afterschool! But the rumors at school were centered around you and Mei! You touch her inappropriately didn't you?! How dare you touch Mei you perverted sensei?!!

Kuro: Yamada...Stop...n

Koutarou:....

"What an hypocrite...."

Kuro remembered from Erika that she bet the doctor was there on the day Mei vanished. She probably wanted to end the affair because everyone was bullying her!

"But there was no affair..."

Kuro: Eh...?

Yamada: You didn't want it to end and you got violent with her. So you decided to prevent her from leaving...by silencing her once and for all. How could you do that to Mei...?

Kuro: Yamada! Enough!

"Wrong...You're wrong..."

Kuro wanted to agree with the voice in his head. Now that he think about it, something didn't sit right here...

Kuro: (There's no way it could be him...It's a teacher...)

I just want his side of the story...

Doctor Koutarou had enough.

Koutarou: STOP! I didn't kill Mei! You kids got it all wrong! Like I said...I w-wouldn't do that to her...b-because...

Kuro raised an eyebrow this time. Because?

Kuro: Because what?

Koutarou slumped to his chair and puts his hands in his hair. Sweat rolled down his face and he looked tired yet broken...

He mumbled something that the three survivors didn't understand.

Kuro: Huh?

Yamada: What you say...?

He raised his voice a little...

Koutarou: Mei...is my brother's daughter...

Yamada: .....Eh?

Kuro: Nani...Wait...

Kuro looks at Dr. Koutarou's ID card and it said his full name.

Koutarou Aishiteru.

Koutarou's grey eyes looked up at him...

Grey Eyes...Just like hers...

"Resemblance is uncanny"

Kuro: Then that would mean...

Koutarou: It means that Mei is my niece...

The truth comes out which left Kuro flabbergasted as the voices came back.

Yamada: W-What?!!! Are you serious...?!

Koutarou:....I'm serious.

"He's telling the truth."
