Lucy

I was raging, throwing my head back and forth with my hands pulling my hair out. Anger was running in my veins thinking how could I have been so stupid! My tantrum stopped when I snapped my head to the shocked Conscious. "THIS IS YOUR FAULT! TELL ME HOW TO ENTER STARLIGHT OR I'LL END YOU!" The girl only snickered. "You can't. StarLight is only meant to be opened by those who hold the power of Light in them. Since you don't posses that power and is no longer the Light Goddess, Natsu will have the power to kill you."

I charged at the mirror she was at, punching straight at it sending pieces of the mirror flying. My Conscience moved to another one, continuing her speech. "You're now vulnerable since you let your pride took over! Fairy Tail has an army and Natsu will learn how to use the Goddess Sword! You're done for Lucy! You already lost."

"NO! IF THE GODDESS SWORD IS THE WEAPON THAT WILL KILL ME THEN I WILL JUST TAKE IT FROM HIM! AFTER I DO THAT THEN I WILL PLUNGE THE SWORD THROUGH HIS HEART! I WILL NOT LOSE AND I WILL BRING ETERNAL DARKNESS!" I smashed the second mirror moving to the third one and so on. Pieces of the mirrors scratched me but I only kept pace of destroying every mirror in the room. I kicked the last one falling to my knees and...cried. My screams echoed in the destroyed room as I again started to pull my hair. I picked up the shattered mirrors and threw them to the wall.
"I won't be weak! I will succeed and show that darkness isn't weak... That I am more powerful..."

"Look at yourself..." One mirror that only had cracks in the center showed my Conscience staring down at me. "You're not even human anymore, only turning into the Darkness. You rather choose power than your sanity. And now you're at your breaking point..." I slowly stood up, facing myself in the cracked mirror. "What am I? What is happening?"

Some of my teeth were coming out of mouth turning into pointed fangs. My skin tightened around my cheekbones, collarbones and chin. The dark veins stood out since I was very pale, but my eyes... Tears escaped my eyes as I stared at my red irises and black sclera. I'm turning into a creature.

"You're a monster."

Memories of my past life replayed. The people that shouted at me for being a demon or monstrous creature.

"It's a monster! That thing is a monster!"

"What you monster!?"

"It's eyes! What are they?!"

"Her aura is far darker!"

"...Monster..." I was silent. Not even a single muscle moved when I stared at the ground. Conscious's words replayed in my head. Monster...demon? A small laugh escaped my lips. Then another laugh, and another. "What?" A grin took the place of my frown when I started to cackle. "So I am a monster? If that is what I am then so be it. I am the creature at night that stalks the shadows and takes the souls of the innocent. I'm the Devil's right hand that kills the lives of human...I am the Dark One that is known as a monster..."

I picked my eyes up again face to face with my Conscious that was shaking in fear. Her pupils contracted to the point of being small dots. "Th-this doesn't make any sense! You were supposed to be scared of yourself! Not be proud to have that title!" I tilted my head. "Shame. Because I am very proud of my new title..." The mirror shattered after I made a wave of my magic to destroy it. I turn back sashaying to the door. When I left the room Knight stood there bowing. "Mistress-"

"Do not even start. I know why so you don't need to tell me. Now then, after I have a discussion with my 'guests' and is done with other business, then we will leave for Magnolia. I want to arrive there when the last town falls to ashes." I rubbed my hands together walking away as Knight followed closely. "I shall prepare the army then Mistress." I snickered in pleasure. "Wonderful. I want to arrive in two weeks Knight. And when we do arrive, I will take of the Four Keepers. You will handle the army."

"Of course. I will immediately get started." Knight turned the other way making a portal appear and walking through it to EarthLand. I continued down to the dungeons hearing the moans of my prisoners in pain. "Now then," I announced to them making my footsteps be heard. "Let's talk again Council, Wizard Saints..."

                         Natsu

"Wait. I don't know you, but something about you reminds me of...something..." This man that I somehow knew his name sighed. "Look we don't have time to hear a story. For a long time I've been waiting to meet you so I can train you to master the Goddess Sword."

"I think I deserve some explanations! Who are you? How can I hold the Goddess Sword? Why must it be me that has to end Lucy's life!" Talon closed his eyes and rubbed his chin. "Natsu...listen. The reason why you know me is, well?" Talon scratched behind his head glancing away. "Well what?" I crossed my arms waiting for his answer. "You're... You're my reincarnation." I laughed loudly thinking that he was joking. My arms wrapped around my stomach when I only continued laughing at Talon. "Wow, good one!" Talon didn't reply back when his expression became serious. "Y-you're kidding! We look nothing alike!"

"Appearance doesn't matter Natsu. It's only our soul that people can read and you and I have the same imprint. Lucy is also Sera's reincarnation because it was meant to be that way." I stood up straight walking closer to him. "But Luce is the Dark One. I thought that's what she was meant to be." Talon nodded in agreement.

"However, Seraphina didn't give up her life just because she was scared of Lucy. The story was told wrong and is not true. The Dark Ones and Gods thought Sera sacrificed herself out of fear, but what she felt was a girl that held the smallest speck of light inside her..." I become tranced by the story and intently listened to Talon. "What Sera saw in Lucy was not a Dark One, but a piece of her. When her mother died she also held darkness in her without ever knowing! And the Dark One you know as Lucy took away that Darkness and now had an imprint of Seraphina. When that happened Lucy was also shown of the Light, and Sera knew that Lucy was meant for greater things rather than becoming the Dark One. Lucy was shown the most powerful thing known to man and even Gods."

"What was it?" I asked needing to know it. Talon smiled. "Love, Natsu. The last thing Sera did was confessing her love as did I. Love is a far greater magic than any other magic or power; including the Dark One. That's how Sera defeated Zelroath and that's how Lucy was greeted to the Light. So because of you being my reincarnation and Lucy being Sera's, it was destined that you two would grow to love each other. So when Seraphina made the Goddess Sword she also put her feelings in it including love. That gave me the power to hold the sword since I held the same for her. Which gives it to you Natsu. Since only you can hold the purest weapon known to man only you can kill the Dark One..." My arms fell with my head. No matter how hard I pushed away my feeling for Lucy, it would only come back stronger than before.

"I won't do it. If you're saying Lucy's my SoulMate then no way in hell am I going to kill her! What if this was Seraphina huh? Would you do it?!" I shouted at the man my fists tensed tightly. Talon closed his eyes. "No Natsu. I would find another way to save her if that was the only way. I still love her to this day after four hundred years of not seeing Sera. My promise to her was that I was going to find her, and I intend to keep it to her. Until then when we can make a plan, you must train. For starters you must learn how to call for your sword." Talon took off his sandals and pointed at mine. I rolled my eyes and did the same. The grass was very soft between my toes as the Realm gave me a boost of power when I interacted with it.

"First, you must begin with your inner power of the Light."
