Rules
They entered the room. They saw many different people in the room. "Please sit here and wait patiently," The man said gesturing to a large table with many chairs.
Everyone sat down. After that, the man left. "How long is this game going to be held?" Endou asked. "It depends," Fubuki said. "Depends on?" Kabeyama asked. "It depend on how long the matches take. If the matches are all too long, some might be transferred to the next day. It that happens, the Dark Games will end a day later," Kimiro explained.
"Right," Fubuki said. Just then, a man came in. "All leaders please follow me," The man said. All of the leaders including Fubuki stood up and followed the man out.
WITH THE LEADERS
The man brought them to a room. The man told them to sit onto the seats provided. "I would like all of you leaders to fill in these forms," The man said and gave the leaders the forms.
"After that, I would like all of you to read the rules of the dark games," The man said. There is a form for every participant including the leaders. The leaders then sat down in the room and began filling in the form.
After a while, the leaders were finished filling up the forms and reading the rules. The man collected all the forms. The leaders get to keep the rules in case they forgot what the rules say.
"We will need you leaders to lead your team into the arena later. That is all," the man said. The leaders then went back to the waiting room. It was now 1:30. The fight were going to start soon. Fubuki entered the waiting room and sat on his seat.
"Welcome back, Fubuki," Endou said. "Huh? Oh. Arigatou (Thanks). The fight will begin soon. I wonder what's it going to be first... Since there are so many participants, they might start with a death match to cut down the number of participants," Fubuki said.
"Death match?! But..... that's the match where one of the two who fight has to die, right?" Kabeyama asked. "Yup," Kimiro said. "They won't be so cruel, would they?" Hiroto asked.
"They don't care," Kimiro said crossing her arms. "Yeah. If you die, that's your problem. They aren't responsible for anything," Sayuaka said. "That's so mean..." Midorikawa muttered. "Don't worry. They usually start with former members so the newbies could watch and learn from the winner," Sayuka reassured them.
"Okay. I shall now explain the rules. Rule number 1: you must obey the following rules. Rule number 2: you must obey what the Dark Games says. Example: you can't change who you're fighting with. Rule number 3: if it is a death match, someone has to die. No exceptions," Fubuki said.
"Rule number 4: if you get killed, it's not the Dark Game's fault," Fubuki said. "How could it not be their fault? They forced us to fight!" Kogure exclaimed.
"Rule number 5: no escaping. If you try to escape, the wrist and will zap you and you will be dragged back. You will receive severe punishment as well," Fubuki said.
"Rule number 6: if you disobey the following rules, you will die. No exceptions," Fubuki said. "Isn't that a rule for the people who work for the Dark Games?" Kogure asked.
"Rule number 7: if the match says no weapons, there will be no weapons. No exceptions. But if it doesn't, you may choose weapons," Fubuki said. "Phew! At least we get to use weapons, right?" Kazemaru asked as the others nodded.
"Rule number 8: it doesn't matter if you get killed before or after the match. Or you could say anytime you are not having a match. They will just replace you with another person," Fubuki said. "So cruel...." Kurimatsu said.
"Rule number 9: You may choose the magic you would like to use during your fight if the match doesn't say anything. Same for weapons. It has to be equal. Either both uses magic only, both uses weapons only, both uses magic and weapons or both doesn't use magic and weapon. It's for you and your opponent's choice," Fubuki said.
"That's all," Fubuki said. "Magic?" Endou repeated. "I forgot to tell you that you can use magic. You would have to wear gem though. You will get the gem when you are about to fight. You must return the gem after the fight whether you a injured or not. Or even if you're dead. That way you can't sneak the gem in when you and your opponent choose to fight without magic. The gem will stick to you throughout the fight," Fubuki said.
"But if you actually do manage to sneak a gem in and use it, you will automatically loose. If it was a death match, they will kill you," Kimiro said. "I see," Hiroto said.
"Attention all participants. The Dark Games shall start soon. Please get ready and follow your leaders," the speaker said. "Come on, everyone get in line," Fubuki said and everyone of the human representative got in line.
All the representatives begin marching into the arena. The audience cheered. They could see many kinds of creatures. They were the audience. Humans were included in the audience. Some were here to watch, some were here to bet and watch.
The speaker would announce the race and their leaders as they marched out. This was to let the audience know who are participating in the Dark Games this year.
After a while, they marched back inside the arena's waiting room. They waited and waited. They were starting to get more nervous by the minute. Soon, it was time to start the Dark Games.
"Attention all participants. The Dark Games shall be starting now. The first match will be between Fubuki Shirou, leader of the human race and Villone Asertera of the vampires. The rest of the participants please proceed to the seats which are made for you around the arena with audience seat. It is a death match. The said two, please choose your weapons, magic if needed and get ready before proceeding to enter the arena," the speaker said.
"That's fast. Oh well. Bye, guys," Fubuki said and stood up from his seat. "Aren't you scared?" Dylan asked with a worried look on their face. Everyone looked at Fubuki.
"Why should I be?" Fubuki asked raising an eyebrow. "It is going to be a kill or be killed situation," Kazemaru said. "I know," Fubuki said. "Please hurry up," the speaker said.
Fubuki then left. The others went to seat at the seats around the arena with the audience. But it was named. Everyone had to sit according to their names. They could only pray hard for their friend, or you could say, leader.
