Song of Chapter: Save you - Lloyd P-white

(please play the song when given such instruction below during your reading for a better experience and feel of the story - thank you :)

I didn't know anyone in this goddamn place and I didn't plan to getting to know anyone either. So I remained at the music station, where the gods and goddesses flicked through different choices before whispering the names of songs to the instruments, which were muses. These were nine dressed up ladies who sat crossed legged and sang their hearts out. Hades who lectured me on my behaviour decided to distance himself and instead talked to 'Persey-phone' who was fairly bright red when I rolled my eyes. The devil was so focused on the flawless Goddess before him that he didn't even notice me slip away from their sight.

"Having fun?" I turned seeing a familiar face. My smile grew wider when she raised a glass to her lips and chuckled.

"What are you doing here?" I asked Nemesis who took another huge gulp of her drink. She shook her shoulders before looking from the corner of her eyes.

"I'm helping with the competition." She answered honestly, bowing her head slightly in despair. Before she could go into detail at what exactly she would be doing someone else joined us. It was a male dressed in white sheets, he gave me a charming smile throwing in a basic introduction.

"I'm Apollo." He offered me his hand and I took it before shaking it. The soft brown eyebrows reached his hairline as the Greek God felt shocked at the action taken. He then proceeded to stare at his shaken hand.

"Sorry, Apollo, Alex here is just a little nervous." Nemesis spoke confidently before this God nodded his head in understanding, displaying a smile.

"Well I'm going to go do something about the music, the guests are bored." Apollo muttered glancing at the nine muses who screamed till their throats ran dry, and stalked towards them. I felt a smile glide upon my face when different music began. People joined on the dance floor dancing their shoes off. I gulped a few drinks getting myself feeling just a little tipsy.

Hades was nowhere in sight, which meant that a little bit of dancing could do no harm. So I danced together to the beat like I've done so many times before. I loved just feeling so mind-free, it was a truly wonderful feeling having so much less problems to worry about but the movement of your body.

"Get off the stage, we are leaving." A low voice entered my ears as I twisted to the left, discovering a pair of very unhappy eyes.

"One more song!" I yelled over the pounding music that has just began. My palms went above my head as I smiled at Hades. The difference however was, that Hades didn't smile - in fact, his expression just grew colder. But I couldn't let it affect me, I needed  to get the cloak before it was too late.

I turned to own the center when I was roughly pulled back.
"Not on my watch." He growled into my ear and I only grinned at him pulling closer.

(start the music :D )

"Dance with me?" I smiled looking into those dark almost pitch black retinas. He shook his head retracting, but I pulled him back, flat against my chest. The cloak was just beneath my reach.

Lets get away, get away now
Yeah I swear there's better days yo
No you can't see straight, turn around now
Stop, face the other way

"Hades." I warned giving him a death glare. The devil returned the glowering expression before placing arms around my waist.

Late nights, when I see you
Take my, fantasy you
Make me do bad things
You make me lose my mind, so

"I could feed you to Cerberus for this, did you know that?" He composed himself whilst I shrugged my shoulders placing my hands on his much more broader upper limbs.

Lean all your body on me
Lean all your body on me girl
Lean all your body on me
Lean all your body cause I will save you

I will save you
Yeah I will save you

"I'll just give it some Pedigree to make up for our past." I blurted as Hades swung me to the side in a half circle before his arms went back around my waist. A little gasp rushed past my lips to which the Devil smiled with pride. I swayed my hips to the side as we both moved our left leg gliding in that direction. People watched in wonder and amazement as we really owned the dance floor. His hands fit perfectly around my shoulder blades and worked professionally in shifting their position when Hades tipped me backwards like they ever so often did in movies. His charcoal eyes froze on mine, the deadly pale lips hovering above mine - but not yet touching. I swung him over now dominating the dance, preventing something which had a risk of happening.

Far far away but we central
No horse, carriage not essential
Draw your life how you want without a stencil
Take a trip with me know I'll make you feel special, 'cause

"I wonder if I should take your words seriously." He displayed as simper that ignited a spark just like my boiling face. I forced calmness over my feet who went as rigid as a tree.
To avoid any more confrontation I put my forehead against his shoulder and closed my eyes. His fingers went stiff for a few moments before relaxing against my spine. We swayed gently to the music playing in the background. I exhaled deeply my eyelids felt heavy, exhaustion was slowly creeping up on me. I could not even keep a track of time in Olympia. It felt like a day lasted forever. Whatever the drinks contained was not doing me any good, and its effects were already taking a toll on my body.

Now that you're joinin' my team
See how your life could be
Now that you know you're with me
Long live the king and the queen

"We should get you to bed." I felt thick breath on the side of my face. My hands clawed gently onto his jacket before I lifted my head sleepily.

Lean all your body on me
Lean all your body on me girl
Lean all your body on me
Lean all your body cause I will save you

I will save you
Yeah I will save you
I will save you
Yeah I will save you

"I don't think so Mister Satan." I grinned my brain oblivious to his surprised expression.

"Mister Satan?" He lifted an eyebrow.

"What exactly do they put in those drinks?" I blinked feeling lighter than before.

"Ambrosia." Hades intoned pulling his arms tighter around my waist. I laughed at the funny word as a very strange feeling took over. I pulled in cheeks full of air before lifting my eyes at the devil.

"Why are you doing that? It's  annoying." Hades frowned but I scrunched my eyebrows.

"I'm about to throw up." I gagged a little, Hades rolled his eyes releasing me from his hold.

"You're overreacting."

"I wanna see you overreact about your shirt when my sick gets on it." I argued taking multiple deep breaths. The Satan once again swung his eyes over in a very frustrated manner.
He stepped forwards with a deep frown that reached his forehead and in one swift motion enveloped me in his cloak. When that happened I felt the air change, I couldn't tell what exactly was differed. Maybe, the air got heavier or maybe his whole mood has differentiated into something much darker. All I knew is that when he removed the cloak we were facing a bathroom sink of the same room that we were originally placed in.

I was about to question all of his motives, but my stomach went grrl-grrl and I emptied my insides, including the intestines. "Ambrosia shouldn't make you sick, you're a half goddess." Hades commented wrapping his palm around the ends of hair preventing my blonde strands from getting sticky with nasty throw-up.

"Maybe it was something else that made me sick." I spoke and more gurgling followed. I gave out a puff, exhaling the surrounding air and shifted to get a clean tissue from the bathroom counter.

"Did you eat anything else?" Hades wanted to know. I looked over giving him an earnestly straight face.

"Other than your giddy responses to Persey-phone, nothing." I threw up a bit more, only this time Hades didn't help me. I leaned my cheek against the cold tiled floor, panting from nausea. My vision blurred and I observed as the Devil left the bathroom leaving me all by myself.

I closed my eyes briefly, welcoming the darkness that wanted the VIP invite.

Something damp touched my forehead and I fluttered my eyes open discovering a wet cloth before my eyes. My mind went cloudy, my breaths increased their pace becoming more shallow. Alec was the one to rush after me when I was lying half alive in the middle of a forest. He saved my life. Hades on the other hand didn't truly care, I was here to become his minion just like Ethan has been. I was at risk of being in debt, and Hades was just waiting patiently for the right moment.

"Alexia."

"Calm down." Hades spoke up. I felt air enter my lungs settling there in peace as I looked over at him and found comfort in his arms. I didn't understand my actions or why Hades hugged me back, but my head was clouded with too many what ifs and don'ts, that I just needed someone to hold me - even if I will regret it after.

"Thank you." I uttered at which the Devil black eyes bored into mine. But when I looked at them, like really looked at them, they weren't the same as someone's I knew so well. They weren't soft, neither were they glowing a beautiful brown color. They weren't Alec's.

"How are you feeling?" He asked, and I made a swirl around the room, noting that in fact everything that has been previously destroyed was now replaced. I was sitting on a large king-sized bed, wrapped in a light crème blanket which was probably as pale as my face right now.

"Stupid? Embarrassed-" The black-eyed interrupted me instantly, he threw the damp cloth onto the bedside table and stood up from the spot her was occupying on my bed.

"You should be. Persephone is a mannered Goddess with no hard intentions, unlike some of the other deities I know." Hades informed causing my face break out into crimson mess - talk about embarrassing.

"It is a little over midnight, I suggest you catch some sleep, the competition starts at sunrise." With that the Devil approached the bathroom next door and shut the door promptly on his way in. I fell back on the bed, staring at the blank ceiling that made picturing my thoughts a lot more easier. Well, until there was a light tap on the window.

I slid from the bed and forced the window open spotting Aurora with a ladder and an adventurous grin. Oh, boy.

"Did you get it?" She questioned immediately with a hopeful look which I was about to disappoint her with. I had no idea on how Aurora knew the exact moment when Hades left me all by myself and I was not planning on finding out, we had no time for that.

"He is in the shower, I think."

"Well go in, get it." The Goddess of Dawn pressured me on and I gave her an are-you-insane look. She sighed and thudded into the room like she knew every flaw of it, her legs moved with precision and skill before she was right in front of the door.

"Are you sure he's not having like a..poop?" I pressed my palm against my mouth to prevent myself from laughing, but by the looks of Aurora she really wanted to find out the truth. But second later the shower began to pour, as we listened in closer and heard the water ran.

"Alright, go grab his cloak." I had no seconds to protest as Aurora opened the unlocked door and pushed me inside.

The waterproof curtain did barely any justice to hide his entire body, but I was in there for two reasons. One: I needed this damn cloak once and for all. Two: I was proving Rory that I could do this.

But, I became fully convinced that her last-minute idea was about to turn into a full-fledged catastrophe, because Hades pushed the shower curtain aside and met my gaze.
