"So I was right!"

Taehyung and Ruby were both sitting sideways in their seats to look at Jimin in the back as he made his declaration. Jimin looked as proud as a peacock as he held his takeout bin, taking a bite out of the food that laid inside. As soon as the three of them had left the airport, Ruby had taken them through a drive-thru for some food like Jimin had requested. She had then proceeded to park somewhere secluded so that they could eat comfortably without risking being spotted. She had offered to drive them back to the apartment, but Jimin had insisted they eat while the food was still hot.

"Does it make you feel better to think that?" asked Taehyung as he put his takeout down for a second to toss a napkin at Jimin. "Wipe up your face. You're making a mess."

Jimin chuckled as he caught the napkin as it drifted through the air, wiping it across his mouth.

"I mean, I was right. I teased that it was you being after the girl, but it appears to be Kookie instead." Jimin crumpled the napkin into a ball before asking, "So Jungkook thinks he has been seeing this woman - this Ame - in his dreams?"

"Pretty much," said Ruby, "But she doesn't seem interested in Jungkook at the moment."

"Not interested in Jungkook? Sorry for saying this Ruby because I know she's your sister and everything, but why? What's wrong with her? What does she think is wrong with him?"

"He's not charming," said Ruby as she took a bite of her food.

"Well that's rude!" said Jimin.

"No, no..." said Ruby quickly as Taehyung chuckled. "I meant that he literally is not named Charming."

"Is there a man in your sister's life that is named that?"

"Yes," said Ruby.

"What is with people and the names of their children nowadays? Next we're going to have Sweet or Sour!"

"How about you eat your sweet and sour chicken instead of trying to be clever," said Taehyung.

"Maybe you should have been named Sour," said Jimin before shoving another forkful of chicken in his mouth.

Taehyung rolled his eyes as he ate his food. Ruby noticed he had been acting off ever since his encounter with Talia. She was worried that maybe Taehyung was annoyed by the fact that he had to stick up for her. She was sure that he never had to deal with that sort of thing before.

"So...," said Jimin after he had swallowed the chicken in his mouth, "Who is this Charming you are talking about?"

Ruby looked over at Taehyung. Taehyung still wasn't looking at her. Instead he found something interesting in his takeout box to prod with his fork. She sighed as she looked back at Jimin.

"Charming is Ame's bunny," said Ruby. "Only he isn't a bunny anymore. Now he's a man."

Jimin had made the mistake of trying to eat as Ruby answered, half gagging on what he had just put in his mouth. Ruby watched him let out several coughs before grabbing up his water bottle. After taking a large swig from it, his bewildered eyes narrowed in on Ruby.

"Run that by me one more time because I'm sure I heard you wrong," said Jimin.

"Charming is a bunny that turned into a man," said Ruby again.

"Okay. So I did hear you right," said Jimin. "Are you insane?!"

Jimin turned his gaze onto Taehyung who still sat in silence.

"Don't tell me you believe this too," said Jimin as he reached out to tap Taehyung on the shoulder.

Taehyung involuntarily flinched then, obviously being drawn out of his thoughts by Jimin. Turning to look at Jimin, he shrugged.

"Jungkook and I are still on the fence about it."

"Well I'm not even on the fence! I don't believe that for one second! I'm surprised you two are even on the fence to begin with. And you," said Jimin as he looked back at Ruby, "Why do you believe him?"

"Because..." Ruby felt her cheeks heat up as to the reason why she believed Charming. What he had whispered to her about what she thought of Taehyung had only been told to Charming. She hadn't even told Freddi.

"Well?" asked Jimin.

"Knock it off and finish eating," said Taehyung before Ruby could respond, seeing how flustered she was getting. "Stop picking at her."

Taehyung then fell quiet again as both Jimin and Ruby were shocked into silence. The silence stretched on for a few minutes before eventually being broken by the chirp of Ruby's phone. Digging her phone out of her pocket, she saw that it was Freddi.

Do you still hang out with non-BTS people?

Freddi
Remember how I still live at home with my parents?
Well my parents are having friends over tonight.
I need an excuse to get out of the house.
They are going to talk about sports.
Weather.
Cooking.
Old people stuff.
And I will be dragged right into it if I stay.

Ruby
So all seems to be forgiven, hmm?

Freddi
Well, sort of.
I'm still mad you didn't tell me.
But it's over now.
Now I need to focus on the fact that you know BTS.

Ruby
Freddi. Just stop.

Freddi

I was thinking we could go to the mall tonight.
If you could pick me up, that'd be great.
They can come too.
Could be fun!

Ruby looked over at Taehyung and Jimin after Freddi had texted the invitation.

"Are either of you interested in going to the mall tonight?" asked Ruby. "Freddi is inviting us."

"Who's Freddi?" asked Jimin as he finished eating, closing up his takeout box.

"She's my best friend," said Ruby. "She just found out about Taehyung and Jungkook, though she doesn't know everything yet."

"What do you think, Taehyung?" asked Jimin looking at the other as he closed his own takeout box. Taehyung had only eaten about half of what was in there.

"Fine," he said. "We can go if you want to Jimin. You're the one with possible jet lag, so you're the deciding vote."

"I'll live. I'll just sleep in tomorrow," said Jimin. "Let's just dump my luggage off at the apartment first and then we can go."

Ruby finished up the last couple of bites of her food before setting her takeout box aside and shifting the car into drive. She began to drive back towards the apartment after texting Freddi they'd be over in about an hour to pick her up. As Ruby continued to drive, Jimin shifted to dig his phone out of his pocket to text Taehyung.

Why are you acting so weird?
Is it Ruby?

Taehyung
Mind your own business.

Jimin
If it is her,
I approve. 👍

Taehyung
I don't need approval.

Jimin
No. You're right.
You don't need approval.
You need a wingman

I'm your wingman.
And I'm giving you a push.

Taehyung shut his phone off after reading Jimin's messages, looking over at Ruby as she drove. Taehyung was already teetering on the edge - and with Jimin's push just now - he might have finally taken the fall.
