Your Pov

It's been a few days since Donnie and April got together and I'm all better now. Bigfoot is gone and I have no idea where she went, but I hope she's safe. Right now I'm at the turtles' farm house helping them clean up. Raph is washing the windows, Mikey is mopping everywhere, Donnie is organizing stuff while April is dusting, Leo finished vacuuming and is starting on dishes and I decided to help by sweeping.

"(l/b/n), hand me that broom would ya?" I asked. He nodded and tossed it to me while he continued cleaning the windows. "Thanks buddy!" I said as I swept the floor. As I swept, I felt like something was missing. Then I had an idea. "You know what we're missing?" I asked the guys, making them stop cleaning. Mikey shook his head. I smiled as I headed to the CD player and turned it on. "Music." I smiled as I popped a random disk into it.

I smiled as I pressed play and I instantly regretted it. The CD was playing polka. "AAAAAAAAAA!! MAKE IT STOP! MAKE IT STOP!!" Mikey, (l/b/n), and I screamed as we rolled on the ground with our hands to our ears. Donnie came over and took out the disk. I unplugged my ears and got up. "WHO IN THEIR RIGHT MIND HAS A POLKA CD?!?! ARE YOU INSANE?!?!" I yelled at April.

April laughed at me. "That was Dad's old CD that he got from our crazy uncle gave to him on Christmas. Guess he forgot to re-gift it." she explained as she put in a different disk. I gasped as a song came on. It was one of my favorite songs. Dancing in the Dark by Rihanna. (song above. Play it now.)

I smiled as I swept to the beat of the music, slightly swaying to the music. I looked over at April to see her grabbing Donnie's hand and dancing with him to the music. Raph smiled a little and nodded his head to the beat. As the beat dropped, (l/b/n) and Mikey were doing the robot together. I swept up the dirt on the floor into the dustpan and three it into the trash. I looked in the kitchen to see Leo drying off the dishes as he slightly danced to the music.

I smiled as I twirled into the kitchen and took a plate from his hands. "I'll take that." I said as I put it away. He grinned as he handed me more dishes as he danced with me. The dishes were all put away but we kept dancing together. He took my hand and twirled me around as I giggled. I extended my arms out and waved them in a worm-like way with Leo. Leo separated from me and started doing the robot in a goofy way that made me laugh as I held my stomach.

He smiled as he took my hand and pulled me closer to him. We waltzed in the kitchen together with him occasionally twirling me around. He wrapped his arms around my waist and spun me fast causing me to squeal in surprise. We both laughed as he set me down. I smiled widely as Leo grinned showing his perfect white teeth.

As the song was close to ending, Leo twirled me around one last time and I extended before twirling into his arms as he dipped me low. We stared into each other's eyes as a new song started playing. The funny thing was, the song was a love song. (you pick the love song.) How ironic. I don't know why, but I felt myself move closer to his face as his inched towards mine.

Our faces were only an inch apart, our gaze on each other never breaking. My eyes slowly start to close as we came closer,

"LEO! GET IN HERE! YOU MIGHT WANT TO CHECK THIS OUT!" Mikey called from the other room. (PSYCHE!!!! Cue the "oh come on!" and the random frustration typing comments now.)

We both snapped back into reality and realized how close we were. Leo blushed a bright red and helped me up. "S-sorry. Um... I-I'm just going to s-see what that's about." he said avoiding eye contact with me and walking to the hallway by the stairs.

'Oh. My. Gosh. Did we...? Almost kiss? Oh gosh. I've only known him for a few days! Ok. Maybe a week, give or a take, but still! Although I wouldn't mind being kissed by his soft lips... WHAT THE DUCE!!! SNAP OUT OF IT!!' I shook the thoughts out of my head and headed to where everyone else was. I saw the others staring at the floor when I got there.

"What's wrong? Did you guys find a penny or something?" I asked. I looked at the floor and saw a door that was hidden under the carpet that looked like it lead to a basement. "That's weird. I didn't even know that existed" April said looking at the door. "OK. There's a creepy-looking hidden door on the floor in an old house in the middle of the woods..." I kicked the carpet back over it, covering it. "Let's pretend we didn't find this and leave it be." I said. "What? No. We should see what's down there." Casey said moving the carpet off the door completely. "Are you an idiot?! Wait. Let me rephrase that. YOU ARE AN IDIOT!!" I yelled at him, making him flinch. "Don't you guys pay attention to horror movies?! Every time someone opens a creepy locked door, someone ends up missing or dead!" I shouted at them all. "You're exaggerating (Y/n). Nothing's going to happen." Raph said making his way to the door, lifting the carpet.

I quickly blocked his path. "Just listen to me for a sec. Ever hear the phrase 'curiosity killed the cat'? There's a reason that saying exists. If you open this thing, one of two things WILL happen. One, you'll find a bunch of dead bodies and skeletons of random people who were murdered by a serial killer who will later hunt us down one by one until he kills all of us. Or two, you'll unleash some kind of deranged monster that will kill us and eat us before going off to find its next victim." I said kicking the carpet back into place.

"Don't you think that your overreacting to this?" Donnie asked. I sighed in frustration as I pinched the bridge of my nose. "Look, all I'm saying is that there is a reason that this door is locked." I said tugging at the padlock on the door. "And whatever that reason is, it can't be good." I said seriously. "Don't be like those stupid people who die in those horror movies. Be smart and have COMMON SENSE!!" I yelled jabbing my finger in the middle of  Casey's forehead. "Yeah, but there could be something good under there, like treasure or hidden money in there. The worst that can be under there is some rodents and old junk." Casey said trying to bust the lock. "We'll never know unless we find out." Raph said taking out one of his sais.

"Seriously guys! Who are you going to follow on this? The master of survival when it comes to scary stuff, or the nimrod who is going to get us all killed if we open this?" I asked looking over the group. "I agree with sis." my brother said standing by me. "Here is a smart person. And he's only 8!" I said hugging him with one arm. Nobody else moved. "Are you kidding me?" I said face-palming. "It wouldn't hurt just to look." April said shrugging. I sighed in frustration. "Fine. Fine. But if something bad happens, I'm blaming it all on you." I said pointing to Casey who shrunk down from my death stare.

Raph used his sai and busted the lock off the door and opened it. A gust of cold, dusty air blew through. We all stood like statues as we waited for someone to go down first. "W-who's going down first?" Donnie stuttered nervously. We all said said 'not it' while touching our noses. Leo was the last one to say it so he had to go down first. Then the others followed. I grabbed my sword that was by the door before taking my brother's hand and descending down the stairs.

The stairs were steep and creaky. If this isn't like a scene from a horror movie, then I don't know what is. I felt (l/b/n) grip my hand tighter as we went deeper into the darkness of the basement. I looked around the basement with my sword drawn, ready for anything. The shelves were filled with jars of fruits and vegetables and miscellaneous items scattered around the basement. A creepy old rocking horse sat in the corner. I half expected it to start rocking on it's own. I heard a shuffle from behind me causing me to swing my sword around, stopping just mere centimeters away from Leo's neck. I quickly moved the sword away from him. "Don't sneak up on me like that! You almost became a headless turtle!" I whisper yelled at him. he breathed out a sigh of relief. "Sorry. I didn't think that you would be so on edge." he said. "How can I not? I have a really bad feeling that something is going to happen, and it ain't good." I said looking around some more. Leo followed in suit. "Are you sure that you're not just being paranoid? Not that I'm saying you are!" he said quickly making me chuckle sarcastically. "Trust me, if I was acting paranoid, you'd know. I've always had this weird feeling whenever something would happen to me or people around me. It's kinda like a sixth sense, if that makes any sense." Leo nodded in understanding as we continued to scout around the cold, dark basement.

"Hey Donnie, what's this thingy?" I heard my little brother's voice call out. We all headed to the area where (l/b/n) was and saw something that freaked me out. A weird chrome and hot pink colored ship half buried in the dirt. I knew from the advanced look and color coming off of it that it was something from the  Kraang."I-it's a Kraang scout ship! How did it get all the way here?" Donnie said getting closer to the space craft. "Yeah, no shell Sherlock! All the more reason to get rid our hides our of here and hightail it back to my place." I said as I grabbed (l/b/n)'s hand and started to walk away. The sound of a futuristic door opening stopped me in my tracks. "COOL!" (l/b/n) yelled as he ran inside the craft. "(L/B/N)! Get back here!" I shouted as I ran after him.

I saw (l/b/n) standing in the middle of the room staring at something. I looked at what he was staring at and froze. There was a weird tube thing in front of us. I heard the others approach us a few seconds later. "What is it?" I said not taking my eyes off of the object. "It looks like a chamber of some sort." Donnie said in a surprised voice. "Can I destroy it?" I asked taking my sword out, ready to strike. "NO! Who knows what's in there! We'll just have to observe it from a safe distance. We can look but not touch." Don said looking it over. 

"See (Y/n), nothing to worry about. We're totally fine." Mikey said leaning back causing him to fall into a weird controls panel making it turn on or something weird. "MIKEY!" we all yelled at him, causing him to shrink down. The tube then started to open. I pulled Mikey and my brother away from it and behind me as I got into fighting stance along with everyone else. As the thing opened, pinkish grey fog flowed out of it. I could make out the outline of a humanoid body.

The body started to move. I gripped my sword tighter and prepared myself for a fight. The figure wobbled out of the tube and fell to the ground. "Mom?!" April said running to the figure. She helped it up and brought it closer to us. The figure was a woman that was a little taller than April with blonde hair and blue eyes. She held her head and looked around as if in a daze. "A-April? Where are we? Who are they?" she asked looking at us in confusion then screaming in fear at the sight of the four brothers.

"Mom. It's ok. These are my friends, Leo, Raph, Mikey, my boyfriend Donnie, Casey, (Y/n) and her brother (l/b/n)." April said introducing us. "W-where's your father? Is he here too?" April's mom asked. I cautiously put my sword away as the others put their weapon away. "I'll explain later." April said helping her mom upstairs. Everyone else followed except me, (l/b/n), and Mikey. I looked over at Mikey confused. "Why aren't you going up there and crushing April's mom in a hug?" I asked. "I don't like her. She has this creepy vibe around her. I don't trust her." he said hugging my arm like a scared child. I smiled softly as I rubbed his head. "Me neither Mikey. Me neither."

April's mom told us the story on how she ended up in that chamber and the reason why April was so important to those stupid aliens. Mrs. O'neil pulls April into a hug. "I'm so happy to see you safe. We can be a family again. You, me, and your father. By the way, where is he?" she asked looking around us. Everyone shuffled around nervously and didn't make eye contact with Mrs. O'neil. "Well... He wasn't turned into a weird mutant for the second time while we were escaping from a Kraang invasion back in New York." Casey spouts out nervously. Leo elbows him in the ribs. "He's kidding.What really happened is that he is at a safari in Puerto Rico and won't be back for a while." Leo said. I shot him a confused look. 'We don't want to freak her out more than she already is.' he mouthed to me. I nodded in understanding.

 Everyone began to chat with Mrs. O'neil and having a good time, everyone except for (l/b/n) and Mikey who were standing across the room as far away from Mrs. O'neil as possible. "Hey guys, why aren't you with everyone else?" I asked the two of them. "She gives me the creeps. My turtle vibes are going nuts and not in a good way." Mikey said glaring at April's mom. "I feel it too. Something's not right with her." (L/b/n) said hiding behind Mikey. "I feel it too guys. My big sister instincts tell me not to trust her. But for now, we just stick together and away from her. We do not attack her unless she turns into a Kraang droid or a hideous monster. Got it?" I said looking at the both of them. They both nodded putting their hands behind them. "Promise me that you two won't do anything bad?" they both said they promised not to do anything. I smiled and headed to the kitchen to get a drink. I should have looked behind their backs though, I have a feeling that someone was crossing their fingers.

~~~Later that night. 3rd person pov~~~

April and her mother were swinging on the porch swing together, chatting and catching up with each other, unaware of the two figures in the bushes watching them. "Are you sure we should be doing this Mikey? I don't like lying to (Y/n). She gets scary when she gets mad." (L/b/n) whispered to the orange banded turtle who was spying on the two females through the bush they were hiding in. "That lady's evil I tell you, EVIL! I know she's up to something, and we're going to figure this out together and we'll be heroes." Mikey whispered back. Just as soon as Mikey finished his sentence, he locked eyes with the woman sitting next to April. he brought out his nunchucks and jumped out of the bush with a loud battle cry as he tried to attack April's mother.

April quickly pinned Mikey down as her mother ran away screaming. "WHAT THE HECK IS WRONG WITH YOU?!?! You know what? I don't even want to hear it." April said angrily as she ran off to find her mother. "Wait, April! I can explain!" Mikey shouted as he tried to run after April, bit was held back by Raphael who also had your little brother under his arm. He dragged the two inside and pushed them in front of everyone.

 "Are you outta your shell Mikey?! You don't just go off attacking innocent people like that! Thanks to you, April's Mom won't ever trust us again!" Raph yelled at Mikey. "But I don't trust her! She's weird and all kinds of wrong!" Mikey explained waving his arms around. "Really, and how are we supposed to trust you? You come up with the stupidest excuses for everything! When you lost your nunchucks, you said tiny elves replaced them with mozzarella sticks and that one time you said that you and Ice Cream Kitty entered a break dancing contest. The only way that we'd EVER believe you is if you had any proof. and I'm not seein' any proof." Raph yelled at his younger brother angrily. Mikey looked around the room, trying to find anyone else who would believe him. But no one did. everyone left the room leaving you, your brother, and Mikey alone.

 He looked at you with sad longing eyes, hoping that you'd believe him. You sighed and shook your head in disappointment. You walked over to the two youngest boys. "Mikey, I love you like I love my brother, but attacking someone without reason is out of the question." you said placing a hand on his shoulder. "But you said-" You cut him off as he began. "I know what I said. But I said to wait until something bad happens. I believe you, but when you take my brother into what could have been a dangerous situation, you lose my trust. And you two broke your promise to me, so how am I supposed to believe you now." you said as you walked away, disappointed by their actions.

"That look on her face made me so sad, like she would never trust me again." Mikey said to his pet as he sprayed whipped cream on top of his head. "I feel so bad. I wish that she believed me." he sighed. "I do believe you." Mikey looked up to see you in your pajamas. "What are you doing up?" He asked you. "I came to get a drink, and to apologize. I just didn't want my little brother to get hurt. As a sister, I say what you did was wrong. But as a friend, I say 'right on'." you said patting his shell. Mikey smiled at you. "So, who's this adorable little fella?" you asked petting the frozen feline. "This is Ice Cream Kitty. I accidentally dropped some ice cream on her and she was mutated, but she's the best pet ever!" Mikey said nuzzling his nose against his beloved pet's. You smiled at the two. Mikey then heard something from outside. He looked outside to find April's mother disappear into the treeline. "Hey (Y/n), I need to go check something. Could you keep Ice Cream Kitty company?" he asked not taking his eyes off the spot where April's mom left. "Yeah sure. is everything alright?" You asked. "Yeah. I just need to check something. I'll be back in a minute." Mikey said walking out the back door.

(Y/N)'s POV

 When Mikey left, I noticed something was off about Ice Cream Kitty. She kept hissing at the open window. "What's wrong Kitty?" I asked. Then I heard Mikey's scream in the distance. I quickly put the cat into the freezer, grabbed my katana, and ran out the door.

Hello everyone! Sorry for the loooooooooooong wait. I FINALLY got caught up on the t.v. series a bit and my life had gone into a roller-coaster ride of insanity. Long story short, I moved in with my dad and I'm in a much better place than I was before. I'm getting some help that I needed after a traumatic event that happened causing my absence that I will later explain when I become more comfortable with sharing it. But I'm back and I'll hopefully update more. I may even make a little Christmas special if I feel up to it. Thank you for your support and understanding.
