Cross and Nightmare were now inside the castle, in the throne room. Alone. "What did you need me for, my lord" Cross asked, wondering why Nightmare suddenly wanted him. "Tomorrow morning, there will be a visitor at the castle. A Sans."

Sans skeletons are said to be one of the strongest monsters in AUs. But once one meets another, it's their choice to join together or fight to see who's more powerful.

"Dusttale is where they're coming from, they will be watching you compete again" So they'll be observing me uh "After your 5th battle, the two of you will go against each other" Cross nods as he understands what Nightmare is saying.

"But be careful. I heard that he is stronger than most Sans." Nightmare warns. Cross looks at the ground as he thinks for a moment before speaking. "Of course my lord." He says as he slightly dips his head in respect. To which Nightmare nods in response.

Nightmare observes Cross for a moment, looking him up and down. "Good, now be on your way. I will be in my office." Nightmare says, before walking away and out of the room to his office.

Cross then sighs as if he was holding his breath the entire interaction. C'mon Cross, pay attention!  "Cross!" A voice from behind says, snapping Cross out of his daze. Cross turns around and looks at the one who spoke, Sandra. "What do you need Sandra?" Cross says with a hint of annoyance but overall a monotone voice.

"Well," Sandra starts off, with a smirk on her face. "I was thinking that maybe you and Nightmare should go on a mission together." Cross looked at Sandra confused "and why would we do that" Cross asks as he is feeling a bit skeptical about Sandra's behavior.

"Because, now go rest up so you guys could go tomorrow" "wait tomorrow-?" Sandra puts a finger over Cross's mouth, shutting him up. She then waves her hand, shooing him away. Too which Cross glares at her but complies and walks away. Leaving Sandra smirk and letting out a mischievous laugh.

Nightmare was in his office, working on some paperwork. Suddenly there was a knock on his door. "Who is it?" He says with the same deep (cough, ugly!, cough) voice as always.

"Yoo hoo, Big Summer Blow Out!" Nightmare immediately had an unamused look on his face as he recognized who it was. "What do you want Killer?" Killer takes that as an invitation and opens the door, entering Nightmare's office with a grin.

"So, you know Cross right?" Nightmare looks at him like he just asked the dumbest question in the world. Wait, he did. "Yes, of course I know Cross" Killers grin widens "great, so you two are going on a mission together" Killer says bluntly with no context at all.

"Wait what-?" "Rest up, tomorrow it's mission time. Bye!" Killer says, cutting Nightmare off before turning around and skipping away as he closes the door behind him. Nightmare just sits there hella confused. "Wtf...just happened."

"So, did you tell him?" Sandra asked Killer who had a piece of chocolate in his mouth. "Mhm!" Killer mumbles(?) in response. "Yes! Crossmare plan is in play!" Sandra says as she high fives Killer.

The two then start dancing to Anaconda in victory. While other servants and maids look at them with a confused expression and some with an unamused expression as this is normal.
