Review: This was a hard choice to make considering all the other books I had considered for this prize but this one stuck to me the most. The poems rotate around the idea of fitting in, which most can relate to. 'Kate' is used to represent the 'cool kids' or 'populars' that set unattainable heights we all wish to reach or emulate but in the end we all need to learn to love ourselves for who we are. Apart from a few, hardly noticeable grammatical errors it was a lovely read. Congratulations.

Review: The poet wrote about the truth of the world and humanity, which really intrigued me. The things we do that we see as normal are taken from a different perspective and the foolish things we consciously do made up my favourite parts of the poems. The made me think deeply and I liked that. Well done!

Review: Although I have never felt romantic love or heartbreak I experienced them in the songs/poems. The words were stuck in my head for days after reading and I just found it overall beautiful. The poems were well structured and although a few lines weren't properly punctuated it was enjoyable to read. Well done!
