Chapter 8

The wind whistled in Luna's ears as she fell. Natsu was beside her, screaming. Before she knew it, she started flapping her hands in hope of actually floating but that was a long shot.

The ground came closer into view, with the hard dirt and the stomping of a huge machine next to her. She wondered if she'll get smushed by the machine or fall flat on the face.

In a sudden light, Natsu and Luna were both being held and flying. She wasn't surprised that Happy was the one who caught Natsu but what she was surprised of who caught her. She looked up, expecting Kat to insult her for looking like a retarded pterodactyl trying to fly. "Red!! What're you doing here!"

Red grinned. "I wanted to save you of course! I can't stay a whole day without you~!" His usual blue eyes turned into pink hearts as he then blushed and looked away. His red cape flying behind him and his red fur moved in the wind. He was wearing a blue t-shirt that had the same blue color of his twin sister's fur.

"That sounded creepy..."

"You're the best Happy!" Natsu yelled as he put on his toothy grin. He then turned his head towards Luna and his eyes almost popped out of his head. "You have three cats!"

"Three?" Red pointed towards the leg that she and Natsu fell on to see Blue with Kat flying their way towards here. "Blue!!"

Blue shook her head. "Were you trying to give us a heart attack!" She then smiled and ruffled her hair. Her paws were white but her fur was the color of the freshest water and her red eyes showed a demonic expression when angry. She was wearing a red bow on her tail and a white corset dress. "Kat is full of magic power, now!"

"C'mon Kat! We have to go!" Red frowned of not carrying her but threw Luna towards Kat. Kat caught her and smiled. "You two better go back home or else the old man will be really pissed." The twin exceeds gulped and waved goodbye. Luna sighed. "Well, how am I going to repay them, now?"

Kat shrugged. "I honestly don't know. They always come at the most time of urgency."

"You guys go ahead!" Gray yelled. "We'll go through the hole at the side!"

They all nodded, a serious expression on their faces.

While Natsu's plan is to charge straight forward and destroy everything, Luna's was similar except hers is to have an unexpected entrance. They both nodded and went forward with the plan.

Natsu charged in with Happy at Max Speed and was destroying everything in sight.

The dark sky turned grey as thunder rumbled. Luna yelled a battle scream as she appeared in a flash of lightning right in front of Brain. She punched him and with the help of Kat, got away before he could even react.

"Cobra!" He yelled, his voice filled with rage. "Don't let them destroy this place!"

Cobra smirked as he yelled, "Cubelious!" The snake hit them but the exceeds managed to hold on. "I'm not letting you anywhere near Brain."

Luna watched in shock as the snake grew wings. "The snake could fly!"

"Yeah, I'll battle you but..." Natsu started flying towards Brain. "My real target's him!"

Before the snake could wack him again, Luna managed to create a shield of water. Cubelious stopped halfway towards the shield and changed direction, hitting Luna and Natsu and the exceeds.

"You knew our direction..." Luna mumbled, looking just as outraged as Natsu.

"Dammit! He blocked our way again!" Natsu yelled as he raised his fists.

"Cobra," Brain said calmly. A bruise had formed from where Luna punched him. "Finish them off."

"Roger that! They're the perfect snack for Cubelious!" The snake began punching and slapping them. They managed to dodge some of them but it was no use. Eventually Cubelious hit Luna and Natsu to the ground where they almost crashed thanks to Happy and Kat.

"What're we going to do?" Luna asked. She looked at Kat whom was looking out for anymore sudden attacks. "And where'd Natsu go?"

To answer her question, Natsu pulled her inside a building where he and Happy hid behind a corner. "Do you really think that this is really going to-" He slapped a hand over her mouth.

"Here he comes..." He looked over the corner. "AAAAHHHH!" He smashed the wall into pieces but Cobra wasn't there.

"Where'd he-" Cobra burst through the wall and hit them both.

"I can hear you!"

"It's like he's using magic to listen to out every movement!" Happy yelled.

"No, I could hear everything without using magic. And I can hear your thoughts."

Natsu and Cobra stared at each other for a few minutes. "Pfft! Never heard about that one before!" Cobra laughed, confusing the other three.o

"If it was him making Cobra laugh, it's probably inappropriate." Kat warned. "But I have an idea-"

"For you two," he pointed to Natsu and Happy. "Going to the left but actually going to the right. And the other two fly up and attack on both sides using lightning and turning into a tiger."

"SAY WHAT!!" They yelled.

"Grr..." Natsu and Luna showed angry expressions as they thought of plans and strategies.

"I gotta admit. Those are some good ones. But isn't the kid a little weak to be battling me?"

"WHAT'D YOU SAY!!!" Luna yelled as thunder cracked the sky. Natsu was also enraged. "KAT!!"

Together, the four went straight on. They punched and kicked and doing random things as Cobra looked in shock. He eventually smirked when Luna and Natsu was about to punch him.

Cobra raised both of his hands as the punches landed on it. "This is the first time that someone actually pulled cheap shots, eh?"

Poison burned both of their fists as they immediately pulled away.

"That burns!"

Cobra's skin turned purple and scaly as claws replaced his fingertips. "Now I'm serious!"

"He's a dragon slayer!?"

A purple-like substance appeared on him fists and feet as he kicked and punched Natsu.

"Natsu! Hang on!" Kat yelled as Luna prepared for a spell.

"Celestial Water Dragon's Secret Art: Cyclone's Celestial Explosion!" A huge explosion mixed together with a swirling cyclone full of celestial magic.

After the dust cleared, Cobra stood there, unharmed though Natsu looked bruised. "It missed!"

"Cubelious!" The snake hissed as Luna's eyes widened. Out of its mouth came a mist of an odd smoke. Luna quickly covered her nose after she smelled in some of them.

"Poison mist!" They coughed.

Cobra began chewing and breathing up the smoke like it was nothing.

"And he's eating it..." Kat tried her best to cover her nose.

"Poison Dragon's Roar!" The poison made direct contact with the four.

Luna's eyes became watery and it stung like when someone is really sleepy. Her muscles throbbed and she had an uneasy feeling surrounding her. Kat started to fall behind her. "What's wrong, Kat?"

"Th poison..." She looked at Natsu and Happy and saw that they were having the same issues.

"Don't worry, I'm feeling it, too."

"I think that's something to worry about!"

"The breath of the poison dragon steals a person's power and strength once they breath it in," explained Cobra. "Once you breath it in, it steals your ability to move and eventually die."

"And since you breathed it in, this battle is about ove-" Luna punched Cobra in the stomach as Natsu swiped at his head. Both attacks missed, frustrating them even more.

"Nice try for some 'old generation dragon-slayers'".

"'Old generation'?" Natsu stared confusingly at him.

"I am one of the new generation dragon slayers. I got my powers by implanting dragon lacrima into my body."

Luna's eyes went wide when he said that. She was about to say something but quickly shut her mouth. It wasn't important right now.

"He's just like Laxus!" Happy yelled. "He isn't a real dragon slayer!"

"'Real Dragon Slayer? You were taught by dragons to kill them! If you asked me, the way you were taught would be more questionable! And besides...dragon's are extinct."

Luna's bangs covered her eyes at the sentence. A full deadly aura surrounded her. "Luna?" Kat questioned. She was barely able to fly.

"Igneel is not gone!" Natsu yelled.

"He no longer exists in this world." He roared once more causing Natsu and Happy to fly up. Kat mimicked.

"Kat, let go of me when Happy lets go, okay?" Luna's expression was serious. "I wanna beat the living crap outta you guys for making fun of us."

"But..." Kat faltered and she sent a trusting glance at Happy. "Fine."

"Now!" Natsu yelled. The two exceeds let go of the dragon slayers. They immediately fell towards Cobra.

Natsu roared as Luna summoned sent electricity everywhere.

Cobra suddenly grabbed Natsu's head. "Nice try, dragon slayer!" He smirked.

She growled as she then grabbed Cobra's head. "Do you think I'm useless?" The clouds turned thicker and grayer.

Natsu roared the loudest he could making Cobra's ears scream. With all of Luna's power, a huge thunderbolt burst through the clouds, creating a bright light, temporarily blinding them.

The bolt hit Cobra straight on, electrocuting him but not enough to kill him. The Cobra crashed onto the ground whilst Kat and Happy caught them...sorta.

Kat and Happy struggled to hold the two already poisoned dragon slayers. Luna pulled her fist up. "Woohoo! We beat him just as planned!"

"That wasn't planned at all..." Happy and Kat said at the same time.

"That was just pure luck."

"I...can't...move..." Happy fell down along with Kat.

"This is the second time today!" Luna screamed as she held Kat in her arms. Once the four hit the ground, Luna and Natsu immediately became sick. They turned green as they laid on the floor in agony.

"At least Luna's not the only one that gets motion sickness..." Kat said.

"I guess all dragon slayers get motion sickness."

Cobra stood up, an angry expression on his face. "For the sake of the six demons...I shall defeat you. Die!! You old fashioned dragon slayers!"

With one breath, Luna managed to mutter, "Stupid..." Before going back to being sick.

Cobra raised his hand over his head. But before he could even hit one of them, an explosion that resembled a gunshot's. He looked behind him in shock as Brain stared back at him. "Brain...why?" He said as he fell.
