Nate's POV
Emma took me to lunch. We sat with Newt and a small fat kid. Emma was really pretty. After she went back to the Medjacks I walked around with Newt.
"Does Emma have a boyfriend?" I asked.
"No but I kind of like her." He said.
"Oh. I kind of like her too." I said.
"Guess we both have good taste." Newt said and smirked. The sun started to set and we went to the Homestead. Emma was pinned up against the wall by some guy.
"Leave her alone." Newt said.
"Why should I?" The guy replied. Emma hit him low when he wasn't looking. He doubled over in pain.
"Don't touch me again Minho!" She said.

Newt's POV
I looked at Emma and saw she had a small cut on her cheek that was bleeding. I wiped it away with my thumb. I realized I was staring at her.
"Oh sorry." I said and removed my hand.
"It's ok." She said and walked towards my room.

I showed Nate were to sleep.
"Newt you can have her. I can tell she likes you. Maybe if you die I can have her!" He said joking.
"Really?" I asked.
"Yes. You can have her." He replied.

I limped towards my room. Emma was already on the floor when I got there.
"Hey Emma?" I said.
"What?" She said.
"Can I asking you something?" I said.
"Sure!" She said.

"I really like you. I want you to be my girlfriend. I know you probably don't like me that way. I don't even know why I asked." I said.
"Newt stop rambling. Yes I'll be your girlfriend. Yes I like you that way." She replied and stood up. I wrapped my arms around her small waist and kissed her softly on the lips.
"I love you." I said.
"Love you too!" She said. She rested her head on my chest.
"You're sleeping on the bed." I said.
"Ok but you take the pillow and the other blanket." She said and handing me the stuff. I smiled and took them. I laid down on the extra mat and fell asleep.
