(The Next Day)

Yesterday afternoon was hell. I never thought I would be shopping for a damn suit. Thank the lord, it's over.

"Dad, I need to talk to you real quick," Ezra said.

"Make it quick; I have to meet Pheonix soon," I said as I got up from my chair.

"I need a favor, I need to use to penthouse on prom night," Ezra asked.

"Luck night, eh?" I smiled.

"Dad, I'm not having this conversation with you. Yes or no?" Ezra rolled his eyes.

"You can use the penthouse, but for the love of god don't tell your mother," I said.

"Little late for that, don't you think?" Evelyn said from upstairs, looking down at us. Son of a bitch. "What do you need the penthouse for?"

"Babe-" But Evelyn shushed me.

"Stay out of this," Evelyn growled.

"Nothing, Mom," Ezra said.

"Ezra!" Evelyn glared.

"Evelyn, you know what happens after prom," I said.

Evelyn's eyes widen. "Oh. Is it your first time?"

"Someone kill me now!" Ezra covered his face.

"Do you love her?" Evelyn said.

"I like her mom," Ezra shrugged.

"I'm disappointed in you Ezra," Evelyn said.

"What did I do? It was Georgia's idea," Ezra said.

"Yes, because she probably thinks you love her," Evelyn said.

"What does love have anything to do with it?" I looked at her. "He's 16, Evelyn. Everyone is doing it, give the lad a break,"

"Would you say the same thing if Aerith was the girl in question?" Evelyn folded her arms.

"Don't bring Aerith into this! She has nothing to do with this!" I growled.

"You're patting Ezra on the back for taking a girls virginity in prom night, even though he doesn't love her," Evelyn scoffed. "I just hope you're as understanding to the guy who does the same thing to Aerith on her prom night,"

"I'll put a bullet in his fucking head," I said.

"Why? Everyone is doing it. Isn't that what you said, Damian? I know that you'll do the right thing, Ezra." Evelyn kissed Ezra's cheek and walked off.

(A Few Days Later, That Night)

It was Prom night. Georgia arrived at the house, and I told her to come in while Ezra was getting ready. Evelyn brought a camera so she could take pictures of them together.

"Let's make this quick mom," Ezra said.

Evelyn took pictures of Ezra and Georgia in different poses, smiles, and silly faces. These will be good to show the grandkids in 30 years and embarrass my kids.

"Have fun at prom you two," I smiled.

"We will dad," Ezra and Georgia entered the limo that I provided for them, and it drove off.

"Our baby is all grown up," Evelyn leaned back on me.

"Yeah, and we are proud of him," I smiled.

Hours passed, and we were getting ready for bed. Evelyn was worried that Ezra hadn't called either.

"I thought Ezra would be home by now," Evelyn said. "He must've went to the penthouse,"

"Boy will be boys, Evie," I said.

"It still doesn't make it right, he doesn't love her Damian," Evelyn said.

"Baby, I didn't love you the first time either, but look at us now, nearly 20 years later. I will die for you, Evie," I said.

"My father would've hated you," Evelyn giggled.

"I would have still married you anyway, not even your father would'nt have stopped me from making you mine," I claimed her lips.

"I'm still disappointed in him," Evelyn said.

"Disappointed in who?" Ezra said.

"Ezra! You didn't go to the penthouse?" Evelyn asked.

"Nah, you see I do listen to you sometimes. I came clean that I didn't love her and she took it way better then I thought she would," Ezra said.

"I'm proud of you son," Evelyn smiled.

"You should be. Did you see how hot Georgia looked tonight? I deserve a metal," Ezra said,

I laughed while Evelyn rolled her eyes. "Go on, get to bed," I said.

Ezra left our bedroom. "Happy now?"

"Very, I'm happy he doesn't take completely after you, you would have went to the penthouse," Evelyn said.

"Hahaha, true," I laughed.

"Asshole, but I still love you because no woman can satisfy you like I can," Evelyn licked her lips.

"No one will ever love you like I can, Evie; no man can match my love. You're mine until the day I die, baby," I pulled her towards me, having her as close to me as possible.

"Ditto, Damian Halliwell," Evelyn said.

We shared a kiss. "I will love you forever," I smiled.
