Meeting a new friend
"hey my name is Aurora, it will be a pleasure to meet the world know Bilbo Baggins of The Shire," I said as I bowed before Bilbo. Bilbo sure seemed surprised over seeing an elf standing at his doorstep. I heard Gandalf chuckle and gestured for me to come inside.
I steep inside. I duck under the railing so I won't bang my head on it. "Here, have some supper. My young lad Frodo Will be here soon I presume" Bilbo says as he hands me a bowl of wood. I eat won't ease. I had sat down at the table with Gandalf.
Soon as Bilbo passed beside me, I felt a strong power pulsing from him. I immediately knew what it was. The ring, the one that we were sat out to destroy. I growl low under my breath. I lean forward to Gandalf, whispering something in his ear. He gives me a knowing look.
"You known he had it don't you?" I whisper, sending Bilbo worried glances. "What? The ring, no I dint. That's why I will have him give it up" I nodded and sent Bilbo another glance.
"What are you talking about?"Bilbo asked as he handed us a plate with bread. "Oh just something that she has been feeling lately, it's nothing serious so don't you worry dear Bilbo. You already have enough troubles on your mind." Bilbo nodded and sat down right across me.
Suddenly the door opened revealing a young hobbit. That must be his Nephew. "Gandalf!" The young hobbit exclaimed, running over to Gandalf and embracing him in a hug.
"And who's may you be?" Fordo asked as he turned to me from Gandalf's grasp. I smiled warmly at the young one and bowed low before telling him. "My name is Aurora. I am Gandalf's apprentice, you can say." Frodo nodded and smiled at me.
-Later that night-
I was sitting at a wooden table in the middle of the bar Green dragon. Pippin and Merry were atop a table and sang. I listen to their happy voices but were little other places. I thought of my adventures in middle-earth with Gandalf. "Do you want anything to drink?" Frodo's voice snapped me out of my thoughts and I turned my head to him, giving him a warm grin.
"A cup of water, thank you" Frodo nodded and made for the bar. I moved my eyes to another young hobbit. His hair was sand-brown, same as his eyes. He had introduced himself as Sam. He was a kind hobbit that nearly could to a fly hurt. He had been kind to me as I had started hanging out with Frodo that afternoon. Merry and Pippin had also been friendly. Gandalf said that soon I and Frodo and his friends would have to make for Rivendale, as a thing to put the ring to safekeeping.
Bilbo's birthday party was in a few hours so I and the others headed home to make ourselves ready. I was in the bathroom, dragging a lavender-colored dress over my thin figure when I heard a knock at the door. "Comin'!" I shouted dragging the dress totally over my body and hurried to the door.
"You're ready, Rora?" Frodo said as I opened the door. I smiled and nodded, darting back inside to fetch my cloak as I knew we would be off after the party. "Let's go," I said happily and walked to the door.
-at the end of the party-
I was sitting at a table with Frodo and Gandalf when Bilbo made his way up to the podium. The ring's power eradicating as he started talking. I also saw him taking it out of his pocket and slipping it behind his back. My smile had faded a long time ago as I was focusing on what he would do next.
"I am very sorry to announce this is the end." I heard Bilbo's voice and I knew he would skip the ring on eventually. What happened next, was that Bilbo slipped on the ring and magically disappeared. But I saw it clear as day. I could also hear him going up to his house.
I made for the house but soon as I heard Gandalf's voice inside, I desied this was his part to play. I just occupied Frodo with something else while Gandalf talked to Frodo. Soon enough, I could hear his voice singing over the small hills. I smiled and dragged Frodo inside.
"He's gone, has he not?" I heard the sadness in Frodo's voice and it almost broke my heart. I knew this was needed to be done. I understood that it was hard for Fordo to take in this new fate, this new quest. But I wanted him to know that I would not let him do this totally alone. I would join to Rivendale and wgat would acurr later on, I did not know.
