Avan and I sat impatiently as we waited for our parents to start talking.

We were both in our rooms when they called us down for family meeting which we hardly ever have. I felt uneasy as they stared at each other occasionally then back at us. My dad ran a hand through his hair as he pulled his bottom lip into his mouth and started chewing harshly. I fumbled with my fingers as my eagerness starts to take over.

"So, your mom and I will be taking a trip",he spoke up before swallowing harshly.

"But you can't! We need you here with us especially with what's going on", I yelled but instantly regretted it hearing how loud I was. They simply can't be serious. I needed them here!.

"Your grandmother will be coming to stay with you for the two weeks we'll be gone. You guys basically know everything and besides Lina is mated, you both will be fine", my mom replied as she looked between Avan and I.

I couldn't believe my ears. So they're just going to leave us like this for two whole weeks? My parents were never the ones to take trips so this was all a big shocker to me. As long as I can remember my dad only went on one or two business trips but they didn't last more than a week.

"Where are you going to anyways?", Avan asked as he crossed his arms. His face was a mixture of both anger and curiousity.

"Somewhere far but we can't tell you where", my dad answered as I stared at him with wide eyes. What was really happening here? Was this a prank? They wanted to leave and not tell us where they're going.

Were they hiding something for us?.

"Are you hiding something from us?", I asked as I watched their facial expressions. I had a weird feeling in my chest and I knew something wasn't right.

"No we're not. For now, you both are going to need each other more than anything. Your grandmother will guide and take care of you. We're leaving tomorrow morning", mom answered casually.

We both stared at them not having anything else to say. I mean, there was no way we could convince them to stay. I didn't even know how to think. My thoughts were all over the place.

"This is so wrong. You're just going to leave like that after everything I've told you. I can't control whatever it is that I have and the girls at school won't stop rushing me. I need guidance! I need someone to teach me before I go insane!", Avan yelled throwing his hands up. He was having a harder time handling the situation.

"As I said, your grandmother will guide you."

And with that, they both stood up and left the living room. I glanced at Avan who's face was blank as he stared at the empty seats before him. I knew it was harder for him because having so many girls or people for that matter, rushing after you is quite overwhelming. I wish I could help him but I had no idea how.

"I'm going out, I'll be back later", he said before getting up and walking away. I sat in silence for the next few minutes before going upstairs to my room. My body almost exploded from shock when I saw Mykel sitting on my bed. I stared at him for the longest as I tried to control my breathing.

"Suprise", was his only word as he grinned at me.

If I wasn't in so much shock I would've just stand there admiring his gorgeous smile. He does it occasionally and it always made my heart flutter. He sat on the edge of my bed, his white shirt sticking to his body showing off his six pack and I found myself just fantazing about how good he looked.

Both clothed and naked.

I blushed at the thought as I bit my lip. I watched as his eyes darkened but he didn't move from his spot. I found myself squirming under his gaze which felt like he was undressing me with his eyes. He stood up and started approaching me. His abs were now on full display and I couldn't help myself as my mouth started watering.

I was dying to taste but I didn't know what!.

"You know, I can smell your arousal", he whispered in my ear as my face got beet red.

What was this man doing to me?

"I'm sorry", I said quietly but he only hummed in response. He reached out and wrapped his thick arms around my body inhaling my scent deeply. My hands gripped his sides as I buried my face in the crook of his neck. His perfume wasn't too much but it smelt absolutely divine.

"Your parents are leaving tomorrow. I want you to stay with me during that time. I don't want you to be here alone", he said after a while before giving me a quick kiss on my forehead.

"I would really love that Mykel but I can't. My grandmother is coming to stay plus Avan will be here. He just found out he has traces in his blood as well and it turns out he can seduce girls with one look. He needs me more than anything", I replied looking into his eyes. He soaked in everything I said before nodding in understanding.

"I still want you for myself a few nights. I've missed your skin, your lips, your touch. I want to wake up to your pretty face every morning", he then said making me bite my lip in response.

"Why didn't you come through the front door?", I asked after a while as we enjoyed each other's warmth.

"I wanted to suprise you baby", he replied and I nod in response. He took my hand and guided me to the bed. We sat down and I looked into his eyes that were now serious. Too serious for my liking. I swallowed quite harshly before chewing on my bottom lip.

"I have something important to talk to you about", he said and I nod quickly. I wanted to hear his thoughts.

"I want to mark you", he stated as he waited for my response. I didn't quite remember the whole mating process but I knew he meant he wanted to bite my neck and have sex with me. That was a huge step for me since I was an amateur and yet, I still wasn't ready.

"You don't have to overthink it baby. But since things are getting serious I want to mark you. With my mark I can speak to you through the mind link and if you're in danger I'll know instantly. Now with your parents leaving I need to know where you are at all times. I won't let anything happen to you Lina. I've waited so long for you and I would die for you, kill for you, fuck someone up just for you. You have no idea what you do to me..."

I didn't respond.

I couldn't.

I was speechless.

His words were making me emotional and at times like these I thanked God for giving someone like him to me. Someone who made me feel special. Someone who made me feel like I was normal. Someone who cared so much about me. A small smile played on his lips as he looked at me.

"I want you to mark me", I said confidently as I sat upright. This was a big step but it was worth it. For wolves, this was one of the most important moments in their life. The marking process. I was nervous but in my mind it was the right thing to do and who was I to ignore my mind?.

"Ok baby, I'll be back tonight at ten. Keep your window closed and the front door and don't open it unless you're sure it's me", he said as he as he looked at me.

I nod once more before reaching out and wrapping my arms around him. He laid down and I snuggled deeper into his chest. He was so warm and I found myself smiling as I enjoyed the moment. I didn't want it to end.

I wanted it to last forever.
