"Have you made up your mind as yet?"

"No I haven't".

Kailee looked at me as I placed my head on the desk. Since I learned the truth about what mates were my mind was in different state. I hardly had any focus or concentration. I was torn between rejecting Mykel or becoming the pack's Luna. I was just a normal girl, I didn't ask for any of this.

Life does really throw suprises at you.

"So what if you chose to be his Luna, what does that mean for you?", she asked and I relased a groan.

I haven't really spoken to my parents since that day because they knew what was happening to me and they didn't tell me. I had to go and get the answers myself. As for Avan, I've only exchanged a few words with him. He said he didn't like the situation but he had no say in this.

It was all up to me.

"I'm not sure. Maybe I would have to quit school and dedicate all my time to leading a pack. I will also have to produce kids and an heir", I replied, my mind starting to wander really far on this.

I really would have to produce babies. I was not ready to go into parenthood. I don't even know the first thing about taking care of a baby much less wolf babies.

"Lina, this is alot. All you need right now is a drink to clear your mind and then the right answer will come to you. Why don't we go to Justine's party later?", she said next looking at me.

"I'm not sure-

"-Ok it's settled. My brother is driving so we'll pick you up at seven. It's just for the night Lina, a little fun won't hurt", she replied cutting me off. I was about to protest but the bell rang and I groaned in defeat. She already knew I wasn't a party person but I guess she was right. I really needed to clear my head.

We took up our bags and was about to leave when Zyair and two other guys blocked the door. Kailee groaned before crossing her arms over her chest.

"What do you want?", I asked getting really impatient. Was this about what happened those weeks ago?. I thought we already passed from that or was I wrong?.

"I want to talk to you...alone", he replied before I raised an eye at him. Was he serious?.

"Are you for real?. After what happened you expect me to talk to you, alone?", I replied but he only smiled.

"I understand but it will only take a few minutes, please", he replied as I sighed and looked at Kailee.

"It's fine, I'll be there in a few", I told her before she gave Zyair a deadly glare.

"If any of you touch her, I'll personally see to it that you're tortured", she threatened before leaving the classroom. I smiled to myself about her deadly threat.

"So, what is it?", I asked as I took a seat. Zyair along with the other two guys each took a chair and sat in front of me. One had short curly hair and deep brown eyes and the other had a buzz cut and hazel eyes.

"You are our Luna", was Zyair's first words.

I gulped as those words left his mouth. I wanted to ask how he knew that but it was already obvious. Mykel was the Alpha so he must've told them that he found his mate...and it was me. But I wasn't his Luna, I haven't made a choice yet.

"Actually I'm not", I told him as his face twisted into confusion.

"But you are the Alpha's mate", the one with the pixie cut said and I turned to him.

"I am but I haven't decided if I want to be his Luna or reject him".

When I said that their eyes darkened. I shrunk in my seat as I tried to ignore their heated gazes. I didn't say anything wrong did I?.

"Reject him?. That's not possible Lina. Unless you want both of you to be emotionally damaged. Once you reject him the bond doesn't break that easily. You'll be torturing your mind about your decision for a long while. I know what's it's like to reject someone and trust me, it's not an easy feeling", Zyair then said not breaking eye contact with me.

I sighed deeply. It's not my intention to hurt him but can I give up my life just for a pack that's not even my own family?. It just doesn't seem fair.

"As a Luna, alot will be expected from you. You will make decisions, you'll join fights to protect your pack and you'll also produce cute wolf cubs", the other guy said and I looked at him blankly.

"Alpha Mykel isn't a monster Lina, he'll love you and protect you at all cost. He has waited five years for you and he finally found you and you want to reject him?. If you decide to be his Luna, we will all respect you. We're at your service. Just think deep on this before you make a decision".

They all got up and gave me one last look before walking out. I sighed as I gripped my hair in frustration. I didn't know what to do.

I had to make a choice and after tonight I will.

"My, my, Lina you look really good tonight", Kailee's brother Trey remarked as I entered the car. He had a dark, smooth complexion, a pair of deep brown eyes and neatly trimmed hair. He was three years older than kailee but he acted like a teenager.

Unbelievable, I know.

"Thank you", I replied before he smiled brightly and started the car. I didn't know what was so appealing about my outfit. It was just a blue mini skirt and a white crop top.

"Tonight is going to be lit!. The best thing is that we don't have any school tomorrow because I won't be able to leave the bed", kailee stated as she took out her phone to snap a pic.

"Say cheese!"

I smiled as she snapped the pic. I wasn't a picture person but I thought I'd free up myself for this night only. I couldn't be lame on a party night. I sat back in the seat and closed my eyes. I wanted to make the right choice. What Zyair said had been replaying in my mind.

Mykel had waited five years for his mate which was me, does that mean I had no choice but to be his Luna?. But what about the goals I wanted which one was moving out of this town?. I wish someone could make this choice for me but unfortunately that wasn't possible. It was all up to me.

It was after seven when we arrived at the party. Justine's place was too big to be called a normal house. It was a mansion with white and gold exterior and perfectly carved walls. The lawn was neatly trimmed and was loaded with several different cars.

"Stay close to me ok?", kailee said as we exit the car. I only nod and took her arm as we walked inside. The music filled my ears as I inhaled the strong scent of alcohol. Persons were either dancing like there's no tomorrow, making out or passed out on the floor.

"Kailee, I didn't know you'd be here", Quinn who was her ex retorted as he stopped right in front of us. He was the worst thing that ever happened to kailee. Cheating is one thing, but cheating with two girls at the same time and recording it was another form of wickedness.

"Well I am. I'm here for the music, the liquor and the hot guys so if you don't mind", she replied before pushing past him. I laughed at how well she dealt with him. He deserved it.

"Let's try these Sky Vodka shots", she said as she took up two small glasses and hand one to me. I took a small sip and made up my face from how strong it was. This could knock you out in an instant.

"Let's go dance", she said as she finished her shot and took up another one.

"I'll be right there", I replied as she nod and walked off. The music got louder and I felt a headache coming on. That's why I don't party. I rather be in the comforts of my home with peaceful silence.

I finished off my shot before going off to find her. I heard lots of cheering and I was shocked to see Kailee drinking down a cup full of alcohol. She finished it off while her competitor was having a very hard time downing his.

She finished it off in an instant but her reaction was natural as if she didn't drank down one full cup of alcohol!.

"Next up, Lina!",a guy shouted as they started cheering again but I stepped back.

There was no way I'm doing that.

"Come on Lina, it's only one cup!", someone else said but I took another step back.

It was my choice and I wasn't going to drink an entire cup of alcohol. Kailee got up staggering a bit and wrapped her arm around my neck.

"One cup won't hurt bestie, it's just for the night", she spoke up and I could hear the tipsiness in her voice.

"I'm sorry but I'm not up for it. You know I'm not a drinker", I replied as I looked at her.

"Stop being a baby and come take me on!".

I raised an eye as I looked at the girl who had taken a seat around the table. She was eyeing me menacingly but I tried to ignore it. I wasn't going to do it and that was my final decision.

"Lina! Lina! Lina!"

I groaned out loud when everyone started to chant my name. I looked at Kailee who started pulling me towards the seat. I sat down unwilling and stared at the girl. She was definitely winning because there's no way I'm downing an entire cup of liquor.

"Ok it's settled!. Let the round begin!", the guy said as he placed the cups infront of us. Kailee placed her hand on my shoulder and started to cheer me on. I bit my lip before taking up the cup.

I was going to regret this.
