Rosie's POV

I woke up 7:00 getting ready to test my luck at becoming a nanny.

I decided overnight that I'm going, since no other job I saw was worth as much.

briskly I speedwalked to the bathroom doing the necessary.

I came out of the bathroom with my towel hugging my body.

What's the tim- oh sh*t it's 7:38

Did I really spend that much time in the bathroom?

Rushing over to my closest, I chose the first suitable outfit I saw for the meeting.

I tied my hair up in a messy bun allowing some strands to fall beside my face, and put on some light makeup.
At this point I just want to reach on time, I can't let this opportunity pass.

I dashed out my room and into the kitchen greeted with my dad's crushing hugs and kisses.

"dad?" i said still in his embrace.
"¿Sí, querida?"

"I need to go before I'm late" I said moving to kiss him on his cheek letting his arms fall to his side.

"love you Papá" I said grabbing a grenola bar from the cabinet and heading out the door

"Love you forever" he shouted before I climbed into my car heading to the destination.

"S*it" I muttered, looking at my phone. Written on the screen was 7:44am

I placed my phone on the passenger seat beside me and focused on driving.

Finally I'm here, phew
Parking my car in a nearby parking lot,

I grabbed my phone and rushed inside only to see model worthy ladies constantly fixing their makeup and straighten their already straight clothes.

I felt like the odd one out, everyone here is ether wearing mini skirts that don't even cover half their butt, or a low cut shirt.

If your wearing that it would be best to just go naked, I rolled my eyes, looked away and took a seat.

My phone vibrated in my hands signalling that someone was calling me.

I answered, just to hear a over talkative Emily on the other line.

R for Rosie

E "Gurl, guess what!" she squealed

R "Umm... Your ex saved you from getting hit by a truck because he was stalking you and now you forgave him because he risked his life for you?" I asked trying to sound as genuine as possible.

E "You and your silly assumptions"

I could tell she was rolling her eyes, she always does when I over exaggerate

E "Well anyways, I wanted to tell you... I found you a new job!" she exclaimed

I had to hold the phone a couple inches form my ear due to her screaming.

R "What if I told you... I already got one!" I announced with equal enthusiasm

E "Oh, what do you do?" She asked as an employee called my name.

R "Sorry Em gotta go, I'll talk to you later over coffee" I said standing up from my now warm seat.

E "Ok no problem, 3:00?"

R "3:00" I said reassuringly before ending the call

As I walked over to the main desk, I noticed people coming form the elevator with droopy faces, as if they just saw their boyfriend sleeping with their best friend.

When I reached the the main desk, the lady behind the desk told me the directions while I noted them in my head.

"You'll be alright" she said confidently as I was about to leave

"Oh, thanks" I smiled sweetly at her, making my way into the elevator remembering the directions she told me

I pressed the 14th button in the elevator, after what felt like hours, it dinged signalling my arrival

I stepped out confidently, and made my way down the corridor where I was directed

I could hear my heels click against the marble floor below me, my heart palpitated rapidly as I did so

It was easy to find the office, since it was the last one in the hallway

I took a deep breath before knocking twice awaiting an answer.

It took less than 5 seconds until I heard a male voice "Come in"

And may I say, that voice belonged to no ordinary man.

Placing my hand on the door knob, I turned it cautiously, my heart hammering in my chest

Going in, I expected to see a man in his early 40s, but darn was I wrong

He look devilishly handsome, but has a cold aura that would let anyone sreak in fear, his aroma would inflict fear upon all that encountered him

Though I kept my composure, closing the door slowly to keep the silence.

"Sit" he said coldly not even sparing me a glance, just scribbling on some files before him.

I quickly made my way over to the chair in front of his huge desk that held scattered files all over.

Sitting patiently, I took this time to admire the large room decked out with bookshelfs and couches of many sorts, he finally looked up from what he was doing.

Oh.

Locking eyes, my eyes strained on his pink lips as his tounge skillfully darted out to wet them, I couldn't help but feel intimidated.

Though my face showed no fear as if his presence didn't affect me

"Do you know what your here for" he asked still looking at me emotionlessly, pausing his penmanship.

"Y-yes"

Where did this stuttering come from?
Ughhh... Don't let him intimidate you.

"If you want the job, you would need to follow my rules, if any is broken your going to get fired on the spot, understand?" he said coldly

"Yhea" I replied, now regaining my confidence. "Yes sir" I corrected, he stared a second more deemed appropriate before sliding a document across the table towards me.

"The rules are mentioned in the document" he said now gusturing for me to take a look at it.

I hesitantly grasp the document and started to read 'the rules'

Rules

She can not eat peanuts
Oh its a girl, I'm guessing she allergic to peanuts

Don't take her anywhere without my permission.
Noted

She can do whatever ever she wants if it's not against any of these rules
Hmm... Ok

No sharp objects
Which responsible adult would do that, I rolled my eyes for the second time today

If my daughter shows signs of bad influence, I'll sue you of everything you own.
Okay then, these rules are simple enough. Well now I know she's his daughter, wheres her mo-

"Are you done" he asked impatiently, snapping me from my skeptical thoughts.

"No, but I think I get the gist, don't do anything you tell me not to, and don't go against the rules" I said looking up from the document, and met with his piercing eyes.

"Finally, someone who actually pays attention" muttering to himself, I fake coughed, bringing him form his daze and back to reality

"Your hired" he said out of the blue

Wait, I don't think I heard him correctly, it cant be that easy and he didn't even see the other girls that are waiting.

"Sorry, repeat please" I said genuinely confused

He stranded abruptly from his seat, seeing his muscles flex, under his tight clothing, awaiting release. He walked towards the door behind me, making me stand to face him.

"You heard me correctly, in the document, theres an address, come tomorrow 9:30 sharp, If you want the job"

And with that, he left the office leaving me alone with my thoughts.
