"Nicole!" Nicole looked up. She saw Percie walking into the Hades Cabin. "Want to come to the party? Everybody's here. And, we're serving blue cake!" The girl laughed a bit. "Andrew got it as a gift."
Nicole only sighed, ignoring Percie. The black haired girl frowned, and sat next to Nicole on the bedspread. "Hey, you don't look too good. There a problem?"
Nicole shrugged. "I dunno. I guess I'm not very good at parties. They make me a little uncomfortable. Usually my brother..." Percie's eyes flicked to the ground, and then back to Nicole. "I used to be nervous too. Guess I never quite fit in, because of the ADHD and all." She unconsciously tapped her foot. And then she smiled. "But it'll be okay. I promise you Nicole."
Nicole stood, slowly putting on her jacket. "Maybe for ten minutes." Percie beamed. "Thanks!" She grabbed Nicole, pulling her outside.
A party was set up among the cabins at Camp Half-Blood. It was to celebrate the end of the summer. The only person that wasn't there was Leah. She was gone for a bit with Festus.
Nicole watched the other demigods. She saw her half-brother, Harry, with his girlfriend Frankie. They both looked rather happy.
Nicole weaved through the crowd of demigods, sighing a bit as she went. She really didn't like parties.
Nicole then felt a little better when she saw a beaming face. Wendy Solace. She was a good friend. Wendy was talking with another friend, Ryley, the praetor from Camp Jupiter.
Nicole awkwardly joined their small conversation. Expecting to just be ignored, Nicole stayed silent, but Wendy picked her up in a bone crushing hug. "There's my favorite gal!" Wendy said, smiling. "I'm sure you met-" "Ryley." Nicole nodded, dipping her head in greeting towards the powerful praetor. Ryley returned the greeting with a smile.
Nicole began to relax as Wendy did all the talking. She observed the other demigods. Percie was happily splashing a bit of water around, and then ruffled Andrew's hair. Peter McLean laughed as he playfully nudged Jacelyn, his girlfriend. Jace responded with another playful shove, while she talked with some of her Roman friends back from Camp Jupiter.
Nicole sighed. The party wasn't so bad.

Hey guys. Sorry for not much, but I'm still a little slow. Updates may still be a little stalled, just a warning. I'm still working through the loss of my friend, so I still won't be doing a lot.
