WHAT HAVE YOU DONE

Fluff's POV

I was pacing my room as I tried to keep composure. Three of my subordinates have gone missing and only two have returned. The two that have returned were currently in my quarters.

"You three, did what?!" I almost yelled.

"We thought that if we could get away with the pups we could get something we wanted. Or we could train them to be our own soldiers." The female, who's name was Petal, explained.

"And, unlike these two idiots, I actually succeed." Wave, a blue and and grey cloaked human, walked into the room. The human carried a black scarf around their neck. The scarf seemed to be holding something.

I stormed over to the bastard. I ignored how they walked in unannounced and snatched the object from the scarf. I almost screamed in anger at what I saw.

"You stole, an egg?! What the hell were you thinking?!" I yelled. That was before I saw the mark. A small black lightning bolt on the bottom.

I slid my hidden knife out of my sleeve. I set the egg down on my soft bedsheets and slowly walked to the soldier. Redfield had told me about this egg. It was an important egg.

"Do you happen to know, who's egg that is?" I asked Wave.

"Yes. It's the egg of the head elder of the shadow creatures. BlazingSun's last egg before she went into retirement." Wave said proudly.

"Good. So you do know how important it is. Correct?" I asked them.

"Y-yes. Because it will be the alpha one day." Wave's confidence was starting to falter. "Which means that they will be willing to pay big prices for it back." Wave finished. The other two nodded.

I grabbed Wave's hand and lifted it to my face as if I was inspecting it. I quickly lifted my knife and sliced off their thumb. They screamed in agony and fell to the ground. As they screamed I turned to the other two, now frightened, soldiers in the room.

"You three have made this war even worse. Those creatures will come looking for the egg.  You have put everyone here in more danger than before! We-" Before I could finish speaking I heard screeching and roaring in the distance.

"They're already here! Grab your weapons and secure the nursery!" I grabbed the egg and my shotgun and dashed outside.

I saw people either getting shot down or being torn apart. More shadow creatures were flying in by the second.

'Damn! How many are there?!'

A shadow wolf jumped at me but I hit it away with the butt of my gun. I ran to the center of the fight and looked around. My people weren't fairing well. We were in the training season. No one was ready for a big fight yet.

I shook myself out of my thoughts and held up the egg. The shadow creatures that weren't fighting immediately turned towards me. They stalked closer. Their hissing and growling told the others about the egg. Soon all of the shadow creatures were facing me. Some threatening to attack while others kept their distance.

Three stepped out if the crowd. It was Shadowedmoon, a black and green leopard, and the elder, BlazingSun. None of them looked happy. Redfield, bleeding and bruised, sat next to me.

"Sending your pets to steal our young? That's low. Even for you, Redfield." BlazingSun, a flame patterned dragon. I was almost shocked. Redfield told me that shadow dragons were rare. So I was shocked to see another one.

"Trust me, BlazingSun. It was not my intention to start this fight. I did not even order this." Redfield bowed his head at BlazingSun. He motioned for me to do the same. I quickly dropped on one knee and also bowed my head.

"That's another problem than. You can't keep your subordinates in check. You have just broken one of the biggest laws we have. For that you must pay the price. Bring the ones who have committed the crime to me!" BlazingSun finished her sentence with a roar.

The three were automatically brought to the front of the crowd. Wave had already wrapped their hand but hadn't had time to do it properly. BlazingSun stepped closer to them.

"You three have committed horrible crimes today. Do you have anything to say for yourselves?" BlazingSun spoke calmly.

The male soldier finally spoke up.

"We thought we could bargain something with you. To turn this war back in our favor." He said bravely.

"You didn't stop for one damn second to think about how quiet we've been these past years. Redfield and I have been discussing this war. We were going to come to terms and end this war but seeing your actions today, has destroyed all of that." Shadowedmoon spoke up.

"My soldiers did nothing wrong! We were going to make them give you the egg back! And I for one think their method was a pretty well thought out plan!" Redfield barked.

This caused a frenzy of hisses and growls to erupt from the crowd. Everyone knew Redfield and these soldiers were in the wrong. Even I did.

"If you agree with what these soldiers have done than you can pay the price too! How about that?" BlazingSun hissed.

Redfield backed down and mumbled a no.

"Good. The punishment will take place at moon rise. Redfield, bring your apprentice. It'll be good for them to know what happens if you decide to do something so drastically." BlazingSun finished her speech. She tucked her egg, that I hadn't even noticed she took, safely in her jaws.

She flew off into the sky. As soon as she left, the other shadow creatures followed. Some of them picking up the three soldiers that had committed the crime. As they flew off, my soldiers and Redfield retreated to heal their wounds. The only ones left was the black and green leopard and I.

"So how do you like my shadow form, Fluff? Maybe one day, you'll see it when we're not fighting. But, I highly doubt that will happen." The leopard said.

"Scarredheart, come!" Shadowedmoon roared from the sky.

The leopard took off after his mentor and I watched as they flew off across the river.

"Cloud?"
