Chapter 9
Dinner. I'm having dinner with the Blake family, this was so not planned for and I felt rude if I had said no.
"Well we're going to the gym upstairs." Nathan tugged on my hand again and I shuffled back to his side.
"May I ask why?" Matthew asked as he tucked his newspaper under his arm.
"Nathan works her out," Kendall sniggered which earned a slap round the head from Nathan and glares from their mother.
"Well dear make sure you shower before dinner!" Penny chirped. "I'll leave some fresh clothes of mine in Nathan's room for you,"
"Oh really there's no need for that Mrs Blake," I smiled.
"Please I insist and please do call me Penny," she smiled.
"Dinners at eight." Nathan's father announced just as Nathan pulled me out of the kitchen and hurried me up the stairs into the gym.
"Look Gretch I'm so sorry, I didn't think my parents would be home..." Nathan shot me an apologetic look as he shut the door behind him.
"It's fine!" I laughed.
"My parents are so embarrassing." He rolled his eyes.
"No their not they're nice," I encouraged.
"Wait till dinner, that's if you want to stay."
"Honestly, I think it will be great." I smiled. "I'll just text my brother," I suggested pulling out my iphone.
"Good idea." Nathan agreed taking my bag off me and setting up.
"So we're doing stability and shit right?" I said taking my hoodie off and placing my phone on top.
"Weight distribution," Nathan chuckled.
"That's what I said," I shrugged and straightened out my tank top.
"Here." Nathan took my hands and begun to wrap the support round my knuckles.
"When will I be able to punch like a man?" I asked.
"Never."
"Excuse me?" I stared at him.
"Your not a man I hope, so you'll never be able to punch like a man." Nathan explained whilst smirking down at me.
"Whatever." I rolled my eyes "When will I be able to punch you?" I asked. Nathan stared at me then burst out laughing.
"Stop being an asshole." I complained glaring at him.
"You want to punch me?" Nathan asked pulling himself together.
"Only to see how I affect you..."
"Tell you what you can punch me next week how about that?" He said finishing strapping up my knuckles.
"Sounds perfect." I grinned taking a step away from him.
"Now shut up and do what I say." Nathan said.
"No." I frowned.
"I'm going to teach you to distribute your weight."
"No."
"Gretch why are you being so awkward?" He sighed.
"I'm not." I shrugged.
"Then can we get on?" He asked.
"How about nope." I smirked.
"Gretch." He glared at me.
"Can you punch me?" I asked.
"What!? No Gretch, I would totally knock you out." Nathan looked slightly taken aback. To be quite honest I felt in a weird mood and I thought it best to get all my weird out now rather than around the dinner table with Nathan's parents.
"Who says you'd hit me?" I asked, slowly walking around him in a circle.
"Gretch, your not making any sense." Nathan stayed planted where he was.
"You know I'm quite flexible." I said "and I did take up self defence classes when I was fifteen."
"Really? I don't believe that." Nathan crossed his arms over his chest.
"What part?" I asked.
"Both."
"Fine I'll prove it." I smirked. I walked round in front of him making sure I had enough room to do the splits, and with that I lowered myself to the floor and sat into a perfect split. I looked up to Nathan as he scanned his eyes over my body.
"I'm impressed." He nodded. I smirked as a pulled myself off the floor.
"Lunge for me." I instructed.
"No."
"Just do it. You don't have to punch me, you just have to grab me and restrict my arms and movement."
"I don't want to hurt you." Nathan unfolded his arms.
"You won't, trust me." I assured him but he shook his head.
"I'm sure if Max were here he'd leap at the opportunity..." I sighed watching Nathan's reaction. He narrowed his eyes at me.
"I'm sure if I called Kendall he'd like to tackle me..." I smirked as I saw Nathan clench his jaw, I could practically see his blood boiling. I just needed to push him a bit more and he'd do I without holding back which I wanted.
"I could ask him to lie on top of me whilst I practise to flip someone off me...." I glanced at Nathan whose hands were balled up into fists, I think I'd done it.
"I'll just go get him." I said as I walked towards the door but as I expected, I saw Nathan lunge for me out the corner of my eye. In a flash I ducked below his arms and swerved to the left, then quickly grabbing his arm before he knew what was happening I pulled his arm behind his back and shoved him forward with all my force. I heard him grunt before stopping himself from falling. Taking a few steps back I smirked at him hoping I'd proven my point but he unexpectedly lunged for me again. Acting on impulse I used my forearm to try and push his chest back, he hardly budged.
"Shit!" I muttered as I blocked an attack from Nathan. I dropped to the floor and with all my weight I swept Nathan off his feet with my foot and he crashed to the floor with another grunt. Smiling I stood up straight only to realise that Nathan wrapped his hand round my ankle and pulled me to the floor with him. I moaned as I glanced at Nathan who was already putting his next move into action, climbing on top of me Nathan held my wrists above my head as he held me against the floor. A brief smirk flashed across his face before I brought my knee up to his hip bone and pushed as hard as I could to try and reverse us. Using my wrists and knee I pushed so that I had Nathan flipped over and on his back. Straddling him I grabbed his wrists and pushed them above his head. He was quick to act again as he broke his hands free and flipped me off of him so I landed on my back with a thud. Groaning I quickly stood and also saw that Nathan was standing. I glared at him before he lunged again but this time I wasn't ready and Nathan pressed my body to the wall and pinned my wrists above my head. We were both breathing heavily, our faces inches apart.
"This could go on for a while." He breathed heavily not taking his eyes away from mine.
"Agreed." I sighed. Nathan let go of my wrists and grabbed a towel and chucked it to me.
"I have to admit I am extremely impressed, your self defence is quite good." Nathan smiled at me.
"I told you." I smirked wiping my forehead. "I totally wiped the floor with you."
"No you didn't we called a truce." He glared at me.
"Shut up." I smiled.
"We better shower." Nathan said grabbing our bags.
"Sure," I nodded undoing the straps on my knuckles and grabbing my hoodie and phone.
He led me out of the Gym and to his room.
"I still can't believe your room's this tidy...." I smiled sweeping my eyes around his room.
"The proofs right here," he laughed leaving our bags on the desk. Nathan disappeared into his en suite and appeared again with a peach coloured towel.
"The showers just through there," he handed me the towel "And the clothes are on the laundry basket."
"Thanks," I smiled taking the towel and going into his bathroom. I locked the door behind me and proceeded to peel my clothes off and stepped into the shower. I savoured the feeling of the fresh luke warm water running down my body, I blushed a little remembering that I was in Nathan's shower. Stepping out I quickly dried myself and put back on my bra and underwear, I picked up the clothing left by Penny. It was absolutely gorgeous! Penny had left a floral patterned deep purple and black dress out. Slipping into it, it fit me perfectly. It hugged my figure in all the right places and came mid thigh. I did wonder a little why Penny had this dress because it wouldn't fit her. Putting my white low top converse back on I glanced at myself in Nathan's mirror, it all went perfectly. Penelope was good. I ruffled my hair a little as it was still curley then placed my towel in the laundry basket and came out the bathroom. Nathan sat up to look at me and I watched his eyes widen.
"Gretch." Nathan stood. "You look perfect..." I blushed at his words.
"Thank you," I tucked a strand of hair behind my ear.
"I'll be quick," Nathan winked as he slipped into the bathroom. Smiling a little I sat down on Nathan's bed. I'd never felt this comfortable with a boy before and in some ways it was frightening, I mean all the experience I had was fake. Pushing the thoughts out of my mind I folded my hoodie, top and leggings and shoved them into my bag. I picked up my phone and read a message from Bellamy.
'Have a nice time and stay safe. Be back by 9 and if you need me call me x'
I smiled down at the message and text back.
'Will do, thanks. Love you x'
Within about three minutes I got a text back.
'Love you more x'
I smiled and locked my phone. Glancing round Nathan's room it didn't really give much away about his personality. It was just so clean, in fact it was too clean that it made me want to get up and mess it all up! I head the bathroom open and out strolled a topless Nathan.
"I forgot a shirt." He muttered as he walked across the other side of the room. I couldn't help but stare at his naked chest and six pack, as much as I was mentally slapping myself I couldn't bring myself to advert my eyes.
"You did that on purpose," I managed to say smiling.
"So what if I did?" He smirked slipping on a white shirt that complimented his dark rinsed jeans and black shoes.
"Come on before my mother moans at me," he smiled gesturing to the door. Smiling I stood from his soft bed and left the room. Dinner with the Blake family, shouldn't be to difficult.
